This modern 2 bed 2 bath first floor unit in Old Manchester is great for a Richmond visit. Located near all three of Richmond's downtown bridges you can't find a better home base for your excursions. If you want to explore the river, walk to Brown's island or hop one of the bridges to the Fan, the Financial District, or Shocko Bottom, it's all minutes away. We are animal lovers and have a few of our own. If you are bringing yours, please pick up after them and not have them on the furniture.

Kathleen is a phenomenal host and her sweet porch kitty is an added bonus! We felt completely comfortable and content throughout our stay. Kathleen even thought to provide an arrangement of snacks, drinks, and commonly used toiletries. The only possible downside of staying here is that it will make other lodging options pale in comparison! :)

Such a great stay to explore Richmond as a possible place to live. Good amount of space, cotton crisp sheets, en suite clean bathroom, soooo quiet and plenty of parking. Sarah & Michel & Blue (kitty) are so friendly and welcoming (not to worry, blue isn't in the room). Easy all around, and even my Oura (sleep data) was wondering what I did for so many good night's rest. The location is up and coming, neighbors were friendly and access to all great restaurants, biscuit havens, park walks, museums, etc are within 5 - 15 mins.

Maggie was a super friendly host and responded before and during my stay! I got to meet her and her friendly dog, Hazel. Her local recommendations and communication was wonderful and super helpful. I felt right at home and loved the layout and decor. Having a quiet and private space upstairs was comfortable. The welcome note, snacks, beverages, refrigerator, and toiletries gave it a special touch. There was street parking out front and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. I would highly recommend Maggie's place and would come back to stay!

I enjoyed my two nights at Stacey's. The dogs are big and love attention, but they don't jump up, they don't keep after you and they aren't allowed in the upstairs space. They were sweet and a joy to have around. I was worried about them getting out when I opened the gate, but as long as I was interacting with them they stayed right by me. Stacey's communication was great. We coincided a couple of times as I was heading in or out, and she was very friendly. It's a nice neighborhood--quiet and safe. The space was clean and comfortable. A chair and small desk would be a great addition, but it was a great stay at a reasonable price.
