The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! Beautiful moss covered live oaks surround front deck and waterfront deck in back with views of Bayou Castine and Lake Pontchartrain. Connect to the Tammany Trace by way of a bike path that is located in front of our property. Mandeville Trailhead is 1.2 miles away and has bike rentals, farmers market on Saturdays and free spring and fall concerts. New Orleans is just 45 minutes away.

4 bedroom, 4 bathroom private residence with high ceilings, wood beams and spacious rooms on a 100 acre animal rescue farm. Located just 1 mile from the Village of Folsom where all essentials can be found. Numerous horse show venues are located nearby. We are approx 1 hr from New Orleans, 1 hr from Baton Rouge and 30 min from Hammond. Short term, self-service horse boarding may be available for an additional fee.
