This place was perfect for our family of 4. It was spacious and the outdoor living space was beautiful. Two pools in the complex were perfect for our kids and the neighbours were all welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We can’t wait to return to Casa Alegria! It had everything we needed including hot showers with great water pressure! The wildlife and the views made the trip. We saw more animals from the patio than we did on the Manuel Antonio tour. Mauricio and staff were excellent to work with and can connect you with anything you need. We used the private chef and the food was outstanding!

This home over exceeded our expectations. What an amazing stay, along with the pool and property maintenance. It was a surprise trip for my girlfriend and 9 month old son which I had plans to purpose a few days after, which went absolutely perfect. 5 stars across the board! Highly HIGHLY recommend! Laurent’s Airbnb was in a great location and perfect for our family of 9 who was visiting Costa Rica for a family wedding! The walk-ability to nearby restaurants and shopping was a plus! We did walk to the beach but took a taxi back as it was a bit hilly to walk back! Beautiful views, lots of space for all of us and Laurent helped us with transportation to and from the airport. He was very quick to respond to any questions we had and the pool was refreshing! Thx, Laurent, for allowing us to vacation at your home!

Casa Roma exceeded our expectations! The photos don’t do it justice—the space is beautifully designed, with the most comfortable bed, a great shower, and excellent facilities. Everything is so well thought out. We absolutely loved the pool! The location is fantastic, less than a 10-minute walk to the beach and amazing restaurants. It had everything we needed for a perfect home away from home. Highly recommend!"

We really enjoyed our stay. The home and the views are amazing, beautiful and inspiring. The pictures really do not do it justice. We loved all of the pet visitors. We met boo-boo and Tigre, the cats and Doby the neighboring dog that also greeted us on our first day in coming up the path. They were adorable and a fun bonus! The hosts were very responsive and friendly and gave local recommendations as well. Thank you for having us! My favorite part was driving on the road that gets you up to the location. It requires 4x4 drive. It is an intimidating and humbling drive , but a lot of fun! After the second or so drive it gets easier to maneuver. The location is also central to everything. It is further out than staying in the tourist locations, but it’s totally worth it. Thank you!

From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was truly magical. The home was beautiful, clean, and nestled right in the heart of the jungle—yet still close to beaches, restaurants, and activities. The wildlife was beyond anything we imagined—we saw monkeys, sloths, toucans, and even scarlet macaws right from the balcony! But what truly made this trip unforgettable was Jeff. He went above and beyond to make our experience seamless and unforgettable. From arranging transportation and excursions to giving us the best local tips and planning out our whole itinerary, Jeff was the ultimate host. Two words “ absolutely breathtaking”! I think that pretty much sums up this place. The Host and his team were all super helpful. The property is located on top of a Mountain with INCREDIBLE views. You get a full on view of the tail once the tide recedes. The place was extremely modern and clean. I absolutely loved every piece of decor throughout the villa. I would recommend this place over and over again, to everybody. One thing I would recommend, is that you take the hosts’ advice and stop at the Supermarket at the foot of the mountain before going up. It’s a good 20mins just to get back down for some water😂

Where do I possibly start my summation of this paradise? I'm writing this now while on the plane home. Reliving my experience at Chris & Kristen's propery gives me a smile on my face even when I must return home. The personal touch stood out in a magnificent way. The knowledge of the country, the region, the local places. I felt like I was the only person on their property to care for during my stay. After a rain storm, late at night... I was treated to a tour when the vegetation was at its glory. The sounds, scenery, plant life, and different species of life were amazing. The carefully planned out grounds are a treasure... And constantly being upgraded and cared for everyday. The Villa was awesome. Had everything needed. Beautifully air conditioned, and kept. Bed comfortable, great size refrigerator, and perfectly configured stove. The view from my Villa was incredible, to say the least. My new friends will see me again. Their striving for my comfort was unmatched! TY

Couldn’t have asked for better. 11 of us from age 9 - 63 stayed in this lovely home and everyone enjoyed it. The house is spacious and bright with air conditioning in all of the five en suite bedrooms. The bathrooms are all a generous size. The kitchen is well equipped with two full size fridge/freezers. The entire property inside and out was spotless. The pool is beautifully maintained and there is plenty of outdoor seating and tables. The neighborhood is peaceful with lots of wildlife to appreciate. The beach is gorgeous and never busy. We swam everyday. There are numerous activities within a half hour drive. Finally, Malwina was a truly gracious host, helpful, accommodating and responsive. Elizabeth, the property manager was also wonderful. We looked at dozens of homes in Costa Rica and are delighted we selected Malwina’s. I can’t recommend it highly enough

Villa la Forresta is a total gem. if you're looking for a quiet(er), private spot near Manuel Antonio this is the place for you. The house is beautiful, the landscaping is lush, the pool cool, and the wildlife comes to you. From the grand second floor balcony we saw capuchins, spider monkeys, macaws, butterflies and the ubiquitous lizards. The property features three cabins. We stayed in the large 3 bedroom house. It should be noted that the third bedroom is semi detached from the main house with a separate entrance and no attached bathroom. This is a plus or minus depending on your situation. Your host Silvia is wonderful and responsive. she was able to provide great suggestions for activities and helped to arrange transport for us north to Jaco. A/C in the bedrooms, WiFi, laundry, and a BBQ area next to the pool completes the amenities. We loved our experience and hope to come back again.

I booked this listing for a group of 8 women. We all needed time to get away from our busy lives in the U.S. The six nights at La Sombra were peaceful and inspiring! What a beautiful location and beautiful grounds. We were all stunned by the property, in a good way:) It was even better than the beautiful pictures provided. Each villa was appointed beautifully with quality linens, towels, robes, bath soaps, dishes, etc. We especially enjoyed the patio views and the design of the structures that incorporate natural light and the surrounding nature. We ate dinner each night on the patio of the main house, and found a spot for morning meditations on the bridge. Catherine and Ryan were available and responsive before, during and after our visit. And, I cannot say enough about the local cook, Marta. We all wanted to take her home with us! What a treat:) Thank you for sharing your home with us, Catherine and Ryan!

Casa Linda Vista is a magical house in Dominical. The home is perfectly situated up the mountain with a spectacular view from the infinity pool, hot tub and patio over- looking the jungle & ocean. The home inside was very open and spacious with a soaking tub in one of the two bathrooms where you look out to an amazing scenic window into the jungle (also with the ocean in the distance). The walk- in showers are wonderful. We also appreciated the amount of cupboard and dresser space for our belongings. The kitchen & livingroom are very spacious. We walked to Dominical & challenged ourselves on the return up the beautiful mountain road. We just love the quaint town of Dominical which we have visited several times before & enjoy the beach, restaurants stores & local weekly market. This was the first time we stayed at this house The host Ron & Monica were our contacts & were very responsive, friendly & helpful. We stayed about a week & it was wonderful!

The location of the cabin is perfect, apart from which it is super equipped with everything!!! Even air fryer, it is small but perfect, and if we put the million stars that are seen thanks to the little pollution of light there, and to listen to the wind in the trees, it is priceless, I recommend it a thousand times!!

The cabin with all the conditions and amenities. Peaceful atmosphere. Sufficient heaters and blankets. Hot water. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Very close to chespiritos 3.

Wilber and his wife are amazing people, keep in mind that there is no restaurants around the area or any shops, but they cooked delicious meals for us. And, keep your repellent close

Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.

The cabin was perfect for disconnecting from the city. It had everything to cook and use the fireplace. We were with my 4-year-old son and I also love the place, the space was perfect for sharing with the family, eating and watching movies with the warmth of the fireplace. It has many beautiful, natural rural attractions and cafes to try the best coffee in Costa Rica. The Jacuzzi was difficult to understand how to turn on but in the end we succeeded and the location of waze was a little outdated but in the end we asked someone from the community and we arrived (we entered by the route of Desamparados, Frailes, if we had done the route from the Guarco we would have arrived super well)

Hands down nicest place,really enjoyed it. manuel Antonio is right around the corner! The powerful AC throughout (kitchen and both bedrooms) provided the best night's sleep of our entire trip. The location is ideal - close to shops and restaurants while feeling secure behind the gated entrance. We absolutely loved the luxurious touches - especially the comfortable beds, large washer/dryer, and that amazing jacuzzi shower room! The balcony was perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. After a week of traveling, this place felt like absolute luxury, and we appreciated how responsive and kind the host was. We felt the cleanest and most comfortable we'd been in Costa Rica - honestly can't understand how anyone could leave this gem a negative review!

Definitely a gem! I love San Luis and this is a great place to stay. The cabin is super cute and the property is gorgeous. I loved the rainbow eucalyptus trees right outside the cabin. The amenities were very nice, super relaxing - especially the infrared sauna and the yoga area, which both have a view of the distant waterfall. I especially enjoyed doing yoga while watching toucans fly from tree to tree in front of me :)
