House holiday rentals in Marciano

Maria's condo in Positano is exactly as described and pictured. Our group of 4 spent two nights and all said how much we would love to live there indefinitely. It's quite the hike down and back from the beach (but pretty much every Airbnb or hotel accommodation is). The only reason for 4 stars is that Maria was still cleaning the unit when we arrived at 3pm check in until 430-- for which she was incredibly apologetic. We were grateful the property is so well taken care of. Definitely don't forget to bring a swim cap down to the pool with you-- they won't let you get in the water without one! (Even if you have your hair up and don't plan to go under).

Monica’s place in Sorrento was a great location. Beautiful views from the piazza, great restaurants and shopping close by, beaches and marina were a short walk away. Monica’s partnership with the hotel was convenient for check-in. She handled our transportation reservation from the train station and to our next destination. If we were to come back to stay in Sorrento we would definitely have Monica’s place on the short list!

Extremely clean and beautiful apartment. Very responsive host. The view was spectacular and the patio was very large and spacious. It’s very good for younger people that like to do a lot of walking and hiking. It’s very difficult to get in town especially when you have only a couple of days to explore the city. I had my mom and aunt with me and I would have preferred a hotel by the center of town. We spent a lot of money for taxi . Other than that the place and the host are wonderful and match the description on the listing .

A very cozy, quiet, and beautiful place. But above all, Adriana has been a wonderful host. Thanks to her, we were able to visit everything we wanted, thanks to her tips, ideas, and suggestions.

This place was perfection! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and a tour of this incredible place. The pool and outdoor spaces plus the balcony with its incredible views were a huge hit! The family and their dog are so lovely and we couldn't say a single bad word about our stay here. Great location, big and spacious rooms, plenty of outdoor space and the pool was so good! If you are staying in or around Praiano then I wouldn't look anywhere else. It is even more stunning in real life. We can't wait to come back!

If you are looking for a post card view of Positano and the coastline, this is the place to stay. The property was beautiful and the pool was an added bonus. Air conditioning worked fine for us. Domenico was kind enough to help meet us and assist with our luggage. He even reserved a taxi for our Capri tour and recommend the La Strada restaurant. The food, service and close proximity were all great. One note to keep in mind is the number of steps to get to the property. It can be a bit of challenge for some. Otherwise, we had a memorable stay.

Licia is the best air b n b host we have ever had! She made our trip seamless and was helpful in coordinating reservations and cabs. She is as very sweet and all of her recommendations were spot on. The home was even more beautiful than the photos. As the listing and many reviews state, it is at the top of Positano. The walk down was reasonable with many steps but only about 15-20 min to town. My mother was able to make it back up the steps one time but she did not prefer it and it took us around 45 mi, but like I said Lucia helped us coordinate rides and gave us bus instructions. There is also a nice restaurant at the top of the hill across the street called da constantino if you have a night you do not want to go to town.

Very special place, ideal location — right on the beach, with many amazing restaurants (pasta alla nerano was invented in the restaurant right next door). The views are surreal, exactly like in the pictures, the place is very clean and the kitchen is equipped with most necessities. Salvatore is amazingly helpful and very nice. He is available at any time to answer questions. I will definitely be coming back. Note: For those who sleep after 11pm, the place is actually very quiet and all you can hear is the sea. The clanking of the bottles from the restaurants downstairs is usually during clean-up before 11 pm.

Beautiful Airbnb and wonderful hosts, I would absolutely return and recommend this home to any and all interested in visiting Sorrento. Mariangela and her family were incredible hosts, so friendly and welcoming, and very attentive to our questions or needs. They helped recommend and reserve us dinner reservations at a local restaurant in Massa Lubrense and helped us arrange a taxi for a dinner/night out in Sorrento. Public transit is available - less than 5 minute walk from the home and the buses are terrific - a short 20 minute ride into Sorrento. It was an absolute gem. Beautiful location, with a fantastic view just a few steps away from the apartment. Felt like a peaceful escape, and we didn’t want to leave. Thanks to the dreams shape team who arranged a boat trip to capri for us, recommended restaurants and were very helpful, when we needed information about the apartment. Keep in mind, There is a cleaning fee that you need to pay, which wasn’t included in the price. But all in all fantastic !

We had a wonderful stay at Simona’s beautiful villa. It was super clean and comfortable. We loved walking to the little town center area for fruit and groceries. It’s close to beaches and Sorrento. About an hour from positano and the amalfi coast area. Would highly recommend to anyone! There’s also a friendly kitty that my kids loved in the backyard ❤️ Thank you to Simona and her family for the warm welcome and a fantastic experience!

FABULOUS and special villa, even more beautiful than in photos. Designed with attention to every detail, with artistic touches throughout. We enjoyed the location, higher up with incredible views and away from the more crowded tourist areas. Our experience in this area felt much more authentic to our experience of Positano years ago before tourism became so heavy. Yet accessible by bus, taxi and on foot via stairs from lower Positano. Market and fantastic restaurants nearby. Roberta was absolutely the best host we’ve ever had. Thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable and professional. She attended to every detail with amazing recommendations and arrangements, from the porter service for our luggage, resources in the neighborhood, last minute dinner reservations, taxi service, an incredible Pompeii tour with a private guide, and much, much more. It’s clear from conversations we had with Positano residents that Roberta is beloved in the community as well. HIGHLY recommend!!

Loren was an amazing host. She was better than a five star concierge. She made reservations for all our tours and was always very responsive. Her place is heavenly. A whole house with outdoor area for dinning or just sit down overlooking the bay of Naples. Amazing views of mount Vesuvius and Capri.

The photos do not do it justice: the villa is superb. We spent 2 and a half wonderful weeks here (we extended an extra week we loved it so much). The views of Capri are unparalleled, the sunsets are magical and the property perfectly set up to soak up the sun whilst keeping you cool. Kitchen is function-able, bathroom shower is hot and ACs work well to ensure a good night sleep. A car is a necessity; the village is pretty and walkable but for any shops/restaurants a quick 5min drive to Massa Lubrense is needed and well worth it - the port is beautiful, water is stunning and local butcher, baker and shops cute and stocked with everything you need. Busy Sorrento is just 15mins away for everything else. A few reviews comment on the steep stone steps - as long as you’re prepared for that it does not detract from the experience and our 5 and 6 year old nieces had no issues with them. Thank you to Anna for having us - we’ll be back!

Wow. Simply wow. The view of this place is fantastic. Very quiet, well located, clean and very comfortable. Luigi was a super host with recommendations and overall help. Having a car there is a life saver and gave us freedom. Therefore, the included parking spot was a big deal for us. The entire village area with the flowers, garden, and rustic architecture was a nice touch. Beds were excellent and the AC worked well for this time of the year. Extremely recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay. a bit of an oasis compared with the crowds elsewhere on the coast. wonderful restaurant around the corner (downstairs) pretty sunsets at the Marina (make sure the busses are running to take you back up).

Breath taking ocean view over the Capri island , beautiful and very big farm. The countryside house is as good, as functional and as beautiful as it is described. We enjoyed the stunning view day and night every single day as first day. The house is comfortable and charming for a family. Our host generously offered access to fresh and tasteful vegetables from this farm which my family as big city citizens enjoyed had much fun with :-) We warmly recommend this farm house and specially to small kids families.

Great spot near Sorrento! Clean, spacious, loved the views. A few restaurants within walking distance and a coffee shop we enjoyed in the mornings. The only downside is you have to take a taxi to get to your car every time you want to use it. Also the beach gets super busy during the daytime in summer, which is fun if you want to join in! And evenings and mornings are so peaceful and relaxing. Great stay.

Elvia’s place is amazing! From the moment you walk in and look out at the deck, it will take away your breath away. We loved the location! It is away from the crowds, plus swimming right below your deck, a lovely walking bath to Massa Lubrense Harbor with restaurants, our favorite Angelos, plus you can pick up a private boat or a group tour of Amalfi! Basically everything you need for your adventure in Amalfi! And one VERY important detail, Elvia has a beautiful beachfront home that welcomes you with everything you need to make your stay perfect. Thank you, Elvia! We hope to be back one day!

Best location and best patio in positano!

Francesco is a 5 star host that made our stay a memorable experience. We chose this property as we wanted a base to explore the peninsula and have space to relax after a busy day. The property is nestled in a lemon orchard above the small town of Massa Lubrensa. From the multiple terraces you get an amazing view of the ocean and surrounding countryside. We travelled with 4 adults and 4 children and the apartment was modern and very comfortable. Francesco was able to provide us with restaurant recommendations and help us book a ferry to the towns of Positano and Amalfi. For our trip we rented two medium sized cars which we were able to park at the property. I would recommend not renting a large van for this part of Italy as the roads are very narrow and parking is scarce. We enjoyed going for dinner in the local port that has 3/4 nice traditional restaurant and the kids were able to play freely. If you are looking for a unique local experience I would highly recommend this property.

Michelina's accommodation in Termini is a real gem. From here, you can reach Sorrento by car in less than half an hour, Positano in less than an hour and Amalfi in just over an hour, depending on the traffic. A trip to Capri by boat from Sorrento is also highly recommended! Those interested can reach Pompeii by car in less than an hour (highly recommended!) and Naples is also just a few minutes away. The apartment is beautifully located, with a view from the terrace of a part of Capri. It is spacious, very clean and invites you to feel good. From here, you can easily reach restaurants on foot and enjoy the delicious Italian cuisine. Places for cocktails, such as aperitifs, are also very easy to reach. There are also plenty of shopping opportunities. Michelina and her daughter Graziella are warm, extremely friendly and communicative. We highly recommend this property.
