Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mareuil en Périgord

We were hosted very well by Karyn, the accommodation was very clean and rather well-equipped. Only downside: it was cold when we arrived and it took several hours for the living room stove to really start heating up (there is only one supplemental electric heater which is not enough for the size of the room). Apart from that everything was very good, I recommend it!

Everything was perfect. Very simple communication with Dominique. The accommodation was great, we were 9 ( 4 adults and 5 children ) everyone enjoyed the stay, the accommodation is big and we don't go on it. The outside is great with a large garden, pool and ultra nice garden furniture. We recommend

We spent over 2 months in this lovely stand-alone cottage which had everything for the perfect stay: comfortable clean rooms, large kitchen and bathroom, soothing decor, and wonderful surroundings. We enjoyed the beautiful Cognac vineyards, blossoming cherry trees, flowers everywhere and a refreshing pool. Watch the sunrise from upstairs and the moon rise from your front door (private entrance to the cottage). Thomas respects your privacy but is instantly responsive if needed. A peaceful escape in the countryside, yet only a 5-10 minute drive to nearby towns. Highly recommend it!

We had a very good stay in Xavier's cottage, with whom communication was very fluid. The accommodation is easy to access, well-equipped and very clean, with a secure parking space. We recommend it without hesitation!

The house is absolutely charming with a magnificent restoration and the typical and authentic comfort of the old buildings! The garden and hot tub near the river are idyllic (additional daily cost for the use of the hot tub because it is fed by wood-fired). Nick was charming and very welcoming, his house adjoining the rented house (they communicate with her, the dining room of the house overlooking Nick's kitchen). Note: small fridge and no dishwasher in the kitchen otherwise well equipped but we still went out for meals with the house full!

I 100% recommend the accommodation of Alban and Sandrine who are very kind, very welcoming and available hosts as well as their neighbor Virginie who welcomed us at first. The accommodation is faithful to the description and photos, even more beautiful! Impeccable cleanliness, tastefully decorated, you feel very good there right away! The environment is ideal and the village is very charming. Only one regret: staying only one night! ;) Thank you very much Alban and Sandrine, I'll gladly remember your address!

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful Gite. The Gite was lovely and more than met the needs of the four of us. The grounds are stunning and so peaceful. We were blessed with good weather and being able to use the pool and relax in and enjoy the grounds helped make this a perfect stay. Fabi and Steve were wonderful hosts, and gave us lots of helpful information. They responded quickly to any queries we had. We highly recommend this property and hope that we will be able to visit again sometime.

I really enjoyed the few days I had at Patricia's lovely, airy, flat overlooking the river in beautiful Montignac. Everything was exactly as described, Patricia was also very helpful and I would love to come back again - merci Patricia!

I spent a week with my friend at Marc's in one of his cottages, we were hosted very well and he offered us a welcome drink and introduced us to his estate! There are many amenities available such as a large swimming pool, gym, bike loan....... It's really a quiet and exotic place near his pond where my friend was proud to fish a carp with Marc. Thank you!!!!!☺ Marc is a superhost and a good cook where we were able to enjoy a pizza from his restaurant!!! Really great place and very attentive to guests!!! See you soon, maybe!😉 Julie & Addah

We spent New Year's Eve in this very pretty cabin. The awakening was magnificent, a splendid sunrise over fields as far as the eye can see and beautifully frosted trees. Thanks to Luc and Anne for hosting us.

we had such a lovely stay in Dianne's Gite, it was so comfortable and the pool was a great addition. Dianne was also very helpful, we had a very late check in and she was extremely accommodating. Overall great experience and would highly recommend.

We were able to spend a wonderful week in "our little paradise". We have lovingly named the accommodation because it is simply fantastically beautiful. In real life, it is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The surroundings are incredibly quiet and when you sit outside, you can only hear the birds chirping. Perfect for switching off and replenishing your own energy reserves. The accommodation itself is furnished with a lot of passion and attention to detail. You can immediately feel that Luisa and Patrick have created something very special here. The two were very warm from the beginning, explained everything to us in detail and asked several times during our stay if everything was okay. We really appreciated that. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a break in a quiet, natural environment. A real insider tip for refueling.

Very pleasant stay in this charming wooden cabin overlooking the vines! We feel good there! I was sensitive to the original touches of decoration dotted inside adding extra charm to the treehouse. Charlotte and her husband are very welcoming and available before and during the stay. The aperitif formula made up of regional and homemade products accompanied by a very good wine is a pleasure to discover! The environment is peaceful and it is a pleasure to relax in the Nordic bath in nature and under the stars... The place is very well located for visiting St Emilion and its surroundings. Puisseguin is a very pleasant village with beautiful discoveries and encounters like at the grocery store-brocante for a break out of time and at the end of the nuns for a friendly moment! Thanks again to our hosts for their welcome and look forward to coming back soon!

A dream setting, wonderful accommodation, very high quality amenities and in an impeccably clean condition and a more than attentive welcome... and in addition, everything has been thought out and homemade by the owners. Everything was perfect, and even more than that. We highly recommend it for anyone who would like to have a memorable stay.

Thank you for the idyllic stay in this little corner of nature. We had a great time despite changing weather. This cabin in the woods is exactly what was described to us and that we were looking for. We even met the doe! The cabin was very clean, cozy, and well appointed. Accurate to photos. The bottle of wine, a check-in gift, was delicious. We found the pleasure of the 33 towers. The cabin is well located in the Dordogne which allowed us to make lots of visits to castles, caves, villages. I highly recommend this cabin in the woods! We'll be happy to go back!!!

It is a relaxing and unusual experience to stay in this cabin (without water or electricity) where everything is well thought out, in the middle of nature. A way of living that changes our habits and makes us want to pay more attention to our environment. The landscape is beautiful, quiet, a very beautiful view from the terrace, with horses nearby, which we were able to pet. Nathalie and Olivier were extremely available, attentive to our needs and caring. We didn't miss a thing. Disconnection is guaranteed in this beautiful cabin that we warmly recommend!
