Christophe is a charming and very hospitable and friendly host. Welcome drink was on the table upon arrival, very nice! He is very attentive and has good tips for the area. Also responds directly to any question you ask. It is a very nice place to stay and to explore the neighborhood: the beach is beautiful and the sea too! We were able to park the car in the driveway, but there is also a garage. The backyard is completely private and fully fenced, ideal for a dog. We found the electric shutters for all the windows in the house to be a plus: so you can really sleep in the dark. After a nice holiday week, we unfortunately had to go home again :)

Our stay at Jacques and Anita's was simply exceptional. We would easily go back for 15 days, or even much longer! The hospitality exceeded our expectations in terms of kindness, generosity and flexibility. As for the accommodation: the renovation of an old house by Jacques himself, which resulted in a comfortable home with very nice finishes. Decoration: bravo to Anita for her good taste: very neat 70s style with touches of modernity, for a cozy and really nice, even refined result. No worries about security: we were so reassured that we didn't even close the gate or lock the door. A big thank you, Jacques and Anita, for this unforgettable vacation, see you soon I hope! We had a great time at La Flotte. Beatrice is really very friendly with lots of good advice even though we knew the island very well. The pool is a real plus and the garden is very zen. We'll be happy to go back.

Cathy, we were very well received. She gave us useful information about our arrival. She remained available when needed. The accommodation offers a plethora of useful equipment for barbecue, coffee and other. The spa was clean and functional. I recommend the house. There were 8 of us with 3 small children. PS: The garden is beautiful

Beautiful property in a very peaceful setting. Massive grounds with swings, trampoline, football goal and a beautiful pool - which our Granddaughter loved. Handy small supermarket, pharmacy and bakery within easy walking distance. Noela, husband and their children were all very friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely return

We had a wonderful stay! The pool and jacuzzi are great, exactly as in the photos. The small studio perfectly matched the description and was very comfortable. Animal lovers will be delighted: Madison and her little four-legged companion are absolutely adorable and helped make our stay even warmer. We would have gladly extended for an extra night as we felt good here. Thanks for a great experience!

Everything was perfect! From the quality of the accommodation (layout, many amenities and utensils offered, decoration, green spaces) to the kindness, availability and flexibility of Audrey and her whole family, everything was done to ensure we had the best stay possible. We had a very nice family stay at the gîte du lit du Lay. The gîte du lit du Lay is a beautiful place where you feel good. We can only admire the work accomplished by Sonia and François to create such an exceptional place. Everything here is thought out and arranged with care and taste. We had a great family vacation at Nathalie's place. Very reachable and responsive when we had questions beforehand, very good hosting with small gifts. Really great! Really ideal location with respect to the sea. I recommend it without so much as a second thought!

Christine was super nice. We hadn't planned the sheets, having misread the description, but were able to rent them on site. The setting is splendid. The lodge is clean, apart from a few cousins, which seems normal for a lodge in the countryside. Wake up and breakfast with birdsong: a real joy! The snack available the night before was very convenient. Thanks so much, Christine!

A timeless place, where the soul breathes 🌿💫 This cabin in the heart of the woods is much more than just accommodation: it is a true interlude of harmony, a return to the essential. Surrounded by the forest and the river of almost unreal beauty, we felt a deep connection to nature... We were able to enjoy an aperitif on a boat, rocked by the water and silence, which gave us the impression of being alone in the world, the evening by the fire, the walks in the beautiful forest with our dog, who also loved the experience... We only spent one night there, but our minds stayed there much longer. Thank you to Abigail for sharing this beautiful place, for this luminous and rejuvenating experience 🤍

The location of this apartment is excellent. Very walkable to all areas of interest/inportance in La Rochelle including the Vieux-Port, aquarium, train station, Hôtel de Ville. The apartment is well furnished and it is great to have a private outdoor space as well as big windows looking out over the marina. The hosts are responsive and helpful if any issues or questions arise. The Café downstairs is also worth checking out. Definitely would recommend for your visit to La Rochelle!
