Villa in Ardea

Villa Taddei - near and away

Villa Taddei is a beautiful house built in the seventies by my uncle as a second house where to spend relaxing time away from the bustle of the city of Rome. My uncle, who was a veterinary loved nature and this was the perfect place to enjoy his cats and dogs and to work at his garden and plot and enjoy . The garden is huge and it's full of fruit trees: apricots, peaches, plums in summer, pears, apple and lots of oranges and lemons in winter! It really spreads peace and quietness. Villa Taddei is peaceful inside too with its walls totally white, a bright light and a pleasant natural atmosphere. There are 3 double rooms and an extra funny bed under a wall arch in the living room. Other extra beds can also be requested. There are also three bathrooms and a solar shower outside in the garden. There is the place to park up to 4 cars inside the property and the Villa has the automatic garden door and the camara at the door bell. Outside in the garden you have two porches and a stone barbecue and all you need to stay comfortable outdoor, including bikes for your trips. We are close to the coast (4 km) in the southern part of the province of Rome, at the beginning of the Pontine and close to the Castelli Romani. In these parts, it is a little 'history and a bit' legend, Aeneas landed, precisely in Lavinio, today also called Lido di Enea. The location of the villa, which makes it advisable but not essential to have a car, is an excellent base for your visit to Rome, with the advantage of accommodation in the open countryside away from the chaos and congestion and pollution big city. To get to Rome we suggest you arrive by car to EUR, important and interesting suburb south of the city, and then take the metro. In particular, you should take in the vicinity of the villa Via Laurentina and hence the Pontina (SS 148) which continues as Via Cristoforo Colombo in Eur, where there are several metro line B metro (Laurentina, Eur Fermi - most recommended - Eur Palasport, Eur Magliana) and where you can easily park. The total distance by car is about 30 km with a travel time of 20-25 minutes. Another solution is to reach by car or train from Santa Palomba-Pomezia or to Campoleone both about 15 minutes away and from there take the train to Rome Termini (website hidden). The Fiumicino airport is about 40 '. In addition Nearby Rome there are many things of interest and amusement. A cottage made up of stone and timber built on two storeys, with a large living room, glass window, a couch for two people and a bathroom with sauna; on the second storey there is a double bedroom. Outdoors, there is a large garden with a porch equipped with BBQ and a wooden table. The site is located on the pleasant hills between Bellegra and Olevano Romano. We have currently added two beds, set up in a wonderful Indian teepe available for two extra guests in addition to the four ones.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tivoli, and Cecilia and her family were a major part in making that a reality. From the beginning they were proactive and friendly in their communication with us, and they we very helpful with the information they provided regarding local spots to visit. We would definitely be happy to stay with them again in a future visit to Tivoli and highly recommend that anyone looking for a stay at a place that is central to everything in Tivoli do so with Cecilia. Potential visitors should only be aware that the apartment is on the 3rd floor, and there are only stairs, so if that is something that is physically difficult for you, then you should be aware of that. For us, it was not a deterrent, and we got a good little exercise on our way in from and out to our adventures.

The apartment is very clean and absolutely as in the photos, Giuseppe was really very helpful, present, attentive to all the details to make you have the experience, the pampering, of your home but on vacation. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the sea makes everything spectacular, the only downside was having to leave! We will definitely be back, a thought also for Daniel who helped us with sunbeds and umbrella, he was also very kind, always very helpful. Absolutely recommended.

Fantastic stay at Lorena’s place. Nettuno is beautiful, beach less than 5 min walk, lots of sand. Lorena’s place is lovely & very Quirky over 300 years old, right in the centre of Nettuno. Lots of cafes & restaurants within easy walking. Lorena & Toni, lovely came to meet me and explained everything via google translate Would definitely stay again 😎

We stayed in the villa as a group of six after our city trip to Rome, and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how modern and well-maintained everything was. The host exceeded all expectations—friendly, attentive, and always checking in to see if we needed anything. We even received welcome drinks and some ingredients to cook pasta, which was a lovely touch. The villa was spotless and fully equipped. It had a large pool in the front and a smaller one with a whirlpool in the back—perfect for relaxing after sightseeing in the city. The host also allowed us a late check-out, as our flight was in the evening, and even arranged a shuttle to the airport for us. We couldn’t have asked for more. The service, comfort, and overall experience were outstanding. We would 100% recommend this villa and would love to stay here again!
