Studio apartment at the foot of Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

Dear potential guests, Whether in transit, for a short break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - on the balcony with a view or in front of the blazing fire in the fireplace. The sofa bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a nice outdoor pool and good gastronomy - surrounded by a lot of forest. Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.

Large apartment in the center of Wartburgstadt.

In the middle of the city and yet quiet. That probably best describes our great big apartment. This can be found in the Wartburg city of Eisenach. All famous sights, such as Wartburg (Unesco World Heritage Site), Bach and Luther House, City Palace, Fraternity Monument, Dragon Gorge and the Automobile Museum are within walking distance. In just 2 minutes to the city center with numerous shops, supermarket, restaurants and cafes. Welcome Kati and Axel Rommel.

Get comfortable and enjoy plenty of room for up to 4 people at this spacious place. Ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. Bus and regional train are a 5-minute walk. Massage offers can be booked in the house according to availability. You have a living room with fully equipped kitchen and sleeping accommodation for 1 person (box spring bed) or simple sofa bed. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist!

The apartment was beautiful and exceeded all expectations. Especially with the dog, we felt very welcome. Tanja is a very dear hostess who always takes care of the well-being of her guests. We were certainly not the last time in this area and look forward to visiting the accommodation again.

The accommodation was well located, about 15 minutes' walk from the main train station, and a few houses away there was a bus stop. Unlike the listing, the apartment had WiFi and a washing machine. There were several shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity. Excursions to the Wartburg or to the nearby hiking trails, such as the Landgrafenschlucht, could be easily reached by bus. For a return visit to Eisenach, I would stay at this accommodation again.

This is our 5th property on our current trip they have all been very good to excellent but this house stands head and shoulders above them all It is a truly tranquil haven for a perfect walking holiday. There is ready access to pristine forest directly from the rear garden, peaceful balconies with views, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds whatore could one ask for? Eisenach is a revelation to us with so many beautiful walking trails and excellent restaurants. We didnt visit the museums as 6 days didnt give us enough spare time - a long walk, coffee and cake filled the day! Im not sure we will ever retyrn to Thuringia. However if we get that chance we will try to stay here.

The apartment is even more beautiful than the photos can show! Fantastic! Superbly equipped, EVERY detail has been thought of! Great documentation about the apartment and the surroundings (hiking!). Good connection to hiking trails, right behind the house is already the beautiful area! Short walk to the old town (a bit steep, but if you are fit, you can take it as a fitness workout!). Christian and Anja are super nice and helpful, greeted us personally, live downstairs in the house, are reachable, but leave you full privacy. However, there is also a key safe if the arrival is inconvenient. Just leave the keys in the apartment when you leave. The area is really nicely laid out, holidays in Germany, great! The brand new suspension bridge, Kneipp pools, barefoot paths, forest bathrooms, the ball tracks, it was simply fun for the young at heart! For families with children, too. We - 3 hiking-loving friends - will definitely come back, no matter what season!

Silke's place is super cozy and sparkling clean. We slept totally well and felt very comfortable. You just have to be careful to bring enough food because there is no shopping. Communication was also great, 100% satisfied!

Our stay was very good, it has everything to be quiet and cook if you want. The mattress doesn't feel so comfortable but our instance it was short and all good. Bus paradero very close and well connected. It would have been very good to know that there was a construction just below the bedroom at the time of our visit, pass the train nearby but it is not an annoying noise. Communication was fast and good, I would go back to the place :)
