House holiday rentals in Marquette

This house was exactly what we were looking for when booking for my bachelorette trip. It was private, relaxing, and was surrounded by beautiful views. Unfortunately it was not warm enough for the pool during our stay, but the hot tube and sauna were amazing. The cliff at the water’s edge was even better than the pictures. Cheryl was always on top of responding whenever anything came up, or for any questions we had before and during the stay. She was an amazing host, and I would definitely stay here again when going to the UP.

Great place for a family. We came here in February so didn’t get to use the pool but the view was beautiful and the house was warm and cozy.

This was a great getaway! The indoor pool and sauna made this property so worth it. The house was neat and very unique! Highly recommend if you are looking for a getaway!

The place was great. We had a large group visiting for the weekend and the rental had plenty of room for all of us. And we loved the hot tub and pool table. Some things weren't quite functioning, like the downstairs shower and broken pool sticks - but didn't affect our stay. If you visit in the winter, I would only recommend bringing a car with all wheel drive. The parking is down a hill and we had quite a bit of difficulty getting out with our front wheel drive vehicles.

2nd time staying and we always enjoy this place

This spacious historic home is full of charm and perfect for large families or groups. The variety of sleeping arrangements was thoughtfully planned, and there’s plenty of storage throughout. The kitchen and bathrooms are well-appointed, the beds are very comfortable, and the linens and towels are soft and spotless. Its central location makes it easy to explore attractions in both Michigan and Wisconsin, including Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Norway, Florence, Pembine, and more. It’s also just 1.5 hours from Marquette, making it an easy day trip. We’re already looking forward to booking again in the future to enjoy the beautiful porches and pool during the summer months.

perfect stay! loved the location, right by a trail to walk on, and take the dog for a walk. it was a bit wet out outside, just wish there was a mop or something, i would have wiped the back entry up a bit better than i did. But, the bed was comfy, and the rest of the house was a perfect size for a few days stay for 2 people.

This place was a perfect getaway spot! The home is clean and the decor is very cute. Large kitchen with all amenities necessary to cook meals while there. Beds more firm than I’m used to, but still very comfortable and cozy. Comfy blankets, sheets, and pillows also. Location was fantastic and rustic with few neighbors. Private access to beautiful little lake with dock and a variety of boats to explore with. Flies and mosquitos could be intense at times, so we really enjoyed relaxing outside within the protections of the screened in porch. Very peaceful and relaxing trip, thanks to this gem. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Emily was super friendly and helpful, we got a wonderful welcome gift and the instructions and expectations were very clear and forward. The space was very friendly and super easy to feel right at home. We were able to relax inbetween shopping on Washington, visiting black rock, and lounging on the beach. It was the perfect location only minutes away from downtown, nature walks, and on a quiet street. The basement bedroom was very cool on warm days and having a private bathroom away from the rest of the house was very convient. The backyard was also cozy and we saw 2 deer through the fence on our first night!

Beautiful getaway! My fiancé and I had an amazing time. The hot tub, view, and fire made the experience unforgettable. They provided everything we needed firewood, a fire starter kit, seasonings, and more. 100% planning to come back next year. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We had a great stay at the 550 House for NMU graduation weekend. The house was really clean and had plenty of room for our group to relax between activities. I would definitely stay again the next time we are in Marquette!

This is an incredible place. Peaceful, with beautiful views of Lake Superior, and the feeling that you have a quiet space to yourself, but with plenty of restaurants, cafes and things to do within ten minutes. I hope to make it back here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The layout worked perfectly for us, and the space felt welcoming and well-maintained. Check-in was super easy and convenient, which made settling in a breeze. The location was also great — close to everything we needed while still being quiet and peaceful. One of our favorite parts was the fully fenced backyard — our dog, Radar, absolutely loved having the space to run and play safely. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside Airbnb. The home was spacious, spotless, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed. Waking up to the lake view each morning was such a peaceful treat. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

We had a wonderful stay in a peaceful and relaxing setting. The host was incredibly accommodating and helpful both before and during our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the surrounding area and made great use of the sauna. The location offered easy access to downtown, with scenic views on the drive into town. Overall, a nice place with good amenities. Well worth the trip.

This is our second stay at the Fox Den and it was truly even better than the first! Great hosts, beautiful property and the view of the lake is just incredible. It’s a very long drive for us but the minute we arrived I remembered why it was so worth it! We also rented a boat and caught a ton of fish including Small Mouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, two good sized Pike and a few pan fish, great few days of fishing! Fox Den is a special place with great hosts and we would give it 10 stars ⭐️ if we could.

This home was beautiful! It had an amazing view right off of the water. We spent a lot of our time on the river and was incredibly convenient if you’re wanting to go fishing and bring a boat because they have a dock where we tied our boat up. They provided a bunch of recommendations for around the area which was really helpful. It was a beautiful home and an incredible trip if you’re looking for a nice getaway!

Daniel’s place was easily one of the best places we have stayed. It was beautifully decorated and we felt so at home! There was so many extra things provided for snow shoeing and a foosball table. There was an instruction manual available and very clear instructions. We really enjoyed the arctic entry way (from Alaska lol) so that’s what they are called, but catches snow and boots etc before entering the home. Everything we needed was provided included extra large towels and the pillows and beds/blankets were all so comfortable! It meets every need and want in a home away from home! Most airbnbs don’t meet every need like this one.

Steve was a wonderful host and the Chickadee cottage was the perfect place to stay! It’s such a cute little home right near the water and all of the amenities we were doing for the weekend. I highly recommend staying at this Airbnb. Steve was super kind and responsive. We will definitely be returning in the future! Thanks again Steve!

The house and area were absolutely perfect and beautiful! i brought my students to stay here for a few days on a college visit and tour of Marquette and they LOVED the space, plenty of room and space to hang out as a large group. The beach and rooms were beautiful! Host was always helpful and responsive and very kind!
