Every 10 nights of rentals will provide 1 free night for a family who has adopted or is fostering. 3 bedrooms and a loft with a sofa sleeper allows for 8 guests (10 w/air mattress). 1 dog allowed. BR Parkway, Floyd VA, Fairystone State Park and Philpott Lake are all 20 mins away.

Finn’s Folly , a cabin on the Blue Ridge Parkway
Quiet secluded retreat right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. 9 miles to the town of Floyd. Nestled in a clearing in the woods, this dog friendly newly remodeled cabin is a short walk to Smartview Recreation area and hiking trails. Whip up a home cooked meal in the well appointed kitchen, then enjoy the privacy and birdsong as you eat out on the front porch. Take your pup with you to Chateau Morissette winery, just 18 miles away, or relax on one of the porches and watch the deer or fox stroll by.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek
Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. For the best sleep, open the bedroom window!

Secluded Oasis•Hot Tub•Blue Ridge Mountains
You found it. A secluded oasis tucked away in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Wake up with coffee on the covered deck, listening to birdsong and the peaceful sounds of the creek. Spend your afternoons relaxing in the hammock chairs or soaking in the hot tub, then end the day around the fire pit under the stars. If you’ve been craving a quiet escape to reconnect and unwind, you’ve found it. •15 min to the Blue Ridge Parkway •20 min to Smith Mountain Lake •25 min to Downtown Roanoke

The Rocking A Frame - modern meets cozy
Retreat with us at the @rockingaframe Enjoy a getaway at our modern, cozy a-frame cabin just minutes from Hanging Rock. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is located on a secluded ridge (beautiful views) in Danbury, NC. Our cabin is only 3 miles from Hanging Rock State Park, voted by USA Today as one of the “20 Stunning State Parks Across the USA.” The Dan River (walking distance) is home to kayaking, tubing, fishing, and white-water; and Pilot Mountain State Park is just 20 miles away!

Martin's Blueberry Hill Cabin

Smart TV & WIFI will keep you connected while you enjoy the quiet. Everything you need to enjoy cooking & fun local favorites. Gazebo with table for outdoor dining. The Rock Retreat
This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

Black Water Junction Cabin
Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. Because I am such a cold natured person, I installed heated floors and a heated towel bar in addition to the mini-split and electric fireplace! The cabin is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair, day bed swing or hot tub looking out over the landscape and do nothing.

Falling Pines Historic Cabin
The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

1840s Log Cabin Getaway
Enjoy this traditional 1840's log cabin nestled on 11 acres of land backing up to the Mayo River State Park. Sit back and relax in the rocking chairs on the front porch, or sit by the fire. This peaceful property will provide you with an escape from your day-to-day life and bring you back into an atmosphere of times past, surrounded by nature, with modern amenities to help keep you comfortable. ***This is a historical cabin, make sure you read other details to note.***

Heaven's Gate
Need a break from the stress of the daily grind? Come and clear your head and recharge in 26+ acres of serenity. Sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise and maybe even see a few of the many deer or turkeys that roam the property. Hike the trails that parallel the stream or visit our small lake that is stocked with fish. In the evening cookout on the screened in back porch as you reconnect with the folks that you love and watch the sun set.

Wraparound Deck, Creekside Setting, Cozy Cabin
Located approx 15 min from I-77 and minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, this is the perfect spot for an evening of rest or as a home base for exploring overlooks, hiking trails, wineries, small mountain towns, and everything that makes this corner of Virginia so special. Listen to the sound of the water from the wraparound deck, relax in the private barrel sauna, or simply curl up with a good book while summer rain dances across the metal roof overhead.
