My family and I loved our stay at Anita’s place! The apartment looks just like the pictures and is in a fantastic location, extremely close to restaurants, bars, shops and the cable car. Although you can hear people at the nearby restaurants in the evening, they didn’t disturb our sleep and I personally loved hearing people having fun. In addition, we couldn’t hear any noise at all when we were in the second bedroom. We had a rental car and parked in one of the garages outside the medieval gate and took the free shuttle back to the gate and walked to the apartment from there. It was quite easy and not troublesome at all. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

Giuseppe is an exceptional host, very helpful and available. The village of Motta Camastra is very nice and the view is sublime. We were lucky to be there during the 2 days of the village festival so we could enjoy the concerts, fireworks, processions, illuminations and brass band. The apartment is very functional, well located in the village and allows you to enjoy the various visits to do in the vicinity including Etna. We regret not staying longer!

Alberto and his father Giorgio were the most gracious hosts! Giorgio took time to personally introduce me to the locals and showed me all the spots to visit in order to make the most out of my stay. I will most definitely be back!

Already miss this lovely place which became our dream Sicilian country home for three nights! Located in a peaceful gardens area, accompanied by lovely doggies, Mathilde's place gave us a feeling of coziness and freedom. I can only regret that our busy programme didn't allow us to meet with her in person but she was ver approachable and easy going. If you are looking for a quite place near to Naxos and Taormina, and a good starting point for Etna - don't hesitate to book this place :)

Andrea was a fantastic host , super friendly , helpful and proactive . We took a wrong turn and got a little lost trying to find it and Andrea came immediately to find us and guide us to the house and he had a helpful guide printed out and sent electronically which had useful suggestions and some good restaurant tips. He also offered some fresh vegetables from his garden . The house is cosy and comfortable with a beautiful garden full of herbs and flowers and a refreshing little pool. It is only a short drive from the main town but sufficient to be quiet, safe, secluded and in a more natural environment It suited us as we like disconnecting from our city lives and getting back to simple living and enjoying nature . The view of Etna and ocean views were wonderful to enjoy over a beer or wine. We thought it was a good location for our 3 day visit to see Etna and a day trip to Taormina . We were very happy and wish Andrea and his family all the best .

We were hosted super well with a small welcome gift, we found it very nice. Francesco is there if you need him and he has good tips for sightseeing. The accommodation is very nice and cozy, very close to Etna. We recommend it, very good host. Thanks Francesco for the stay and the help. Next time we come to the island, it will be to your home.

We stayed 2 weeks and it was a great base for exploring the east side of Sicily and Etna. A hire car is essential as the apartment is located in a quiet spot away from the main centres. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with great views from the wrap around balcony. The swimming pool was a real bonus - we made use of it most days. Salvatore & Antonio were very helpful and responsive to requests (many thanks!). Highly recommended if, like us, you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The apartment is very big and spacious. Great layout of the rooms. The balconies are a dream. Great host. The place is easy to reach and perfect starting point for great excursions in the area. We will be happy to come back.

We had a friendly and warm welcome with Pina. The house is extremely clean, spacious, comfortable. The outdoor spaces are beautiful. Views of the sea on one side, Mount Etna on the other. Flowers in abundance. Calm and serenity guaranteed. Pina was very welcoming and gave us a lot of information. Even though the house is isolated, we had all the necessary directions to get there. It is a typical house, tastefully furnished and above all filled with attention to make you feel at home. We highly recommend this place!!!

My husband and I came for our honeymoon and found a house with a breathtaking view and an amazing pool. The house itself is also suitable for a couple with children. It had everything we needed, and we spent an incredible few days there. We highly recommend visiting for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

It was a real fantastic accommodation, outside the hustle and bustle of city life we found this oasis of peace and tranquillity. The view is amazing and Giuseppe the best host you can get, very thoughtful and communicative. Highly recommended!

Andreas house is like a home away from home. It is thoughtfully decorated, the lavastonehouse is charming and inside it has everything you need. The ourdoors is beautiful! The view is spectacular, the kids loved the pool and the sorroundings are unimaginable. You have to see it to understand, how wonderful it is. Andrea is the perfect helpful and informative host. The area is peaceful, a bit rural, but that makes it just better.

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

The description exactly matches the accommodation, in fact, perhaps it doesn't do it justice. The outdoor area is sheltered by many trees, making it a pleasant place to enjoy the garden. Very clean house. Impeccable host.

Great place to stay with wonderfull view. Still small Things that can be improved but as is it is already a great place to stay. Lovely to be able to pick your own fruits, maybe Vincenzo can consider chickens for fresh eggs in the morning :), that would make the experience complete.

Exquisite property—indoors and outdoors. The antique decor and space is beyond description. We felt part of an immaculate and charming walk into the past. The cohosts were friendly and helpful. Fabio's place was fantastic. The view is unbeatable. Parking, walkable into town and the view, the view is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our stay. My partner and I were traveling around Sicily for a few months, and my dog needed emergency surgery, and Fabio's place was the perfect spot for us to unwind, relax, and the views made it a great place to nurse our little pup back to health. You need a car here, and the location is only 15 minutes outside the city of Catania, perfect launch pad to explore the surrounding areas. Although, we didn't get to meet Fabio, he was always a text away, checking in on us, making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend. I should also note, my partner and I work remotely, and he was so gracious to add a desk and chair so we both could work comfortably, with the beautiful views. We will for sure be back! A great place for a fair price a bit outside of town centre but can get metro for 1€ to town in about 15 min. The place is more uphill so you get a great view from balcony.
