Beach house holiday rentals in Matara

The White House Lodge was amazing. Janaka and his family made us instantly feel welcome and at home. The apartment is quite spacious and you'll be provided with everything you need. the terrace is very beautiful as well. Everything in Madiha is in walkable distance. Janaka helped us with tuktuks and car rides as well.

Lovely place in a great location. Slightly tricky to find for our driver but access is via another hotel entrance. There wasn’t any WiFi when we were there and in a bit of a signal black spot but still a great stay!

It was a pleasure to return home to such a nice house. One of the best I've stayed in.

Celine’s house was great for us. 6 persons (4 adults and 2 children 3 and 4 years old). + house exactly the same as on photos. + location is great. + almost private claim beach was good. + Christian and Indra are really great hosts. Please, read feedback from Helen (November 2016) "Myself, husband, two children ......." - it's still actual.

It is a great villa. Is much better in real life than in photos. The location is amazing - right on the beach. You can see and hear ocean from the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was really amazed by the whole experience. I’d definitely go there again and probably for a longer period of time.

Wonderful stay and the property was amazing with access to the beach right outside the back gate. Couldn’t recommend enough!

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

We had a lovely time at Luca's place. The house has everything you need for a great rest. You will be able to observe the few animals that roam freely in the garden. The pool is a big plus in the heat of Sri Lanka. The house is incredibly clean and the people who work there are very nice. Nimesh will help you with any questions, you can contact them at any time. He took us to change money, showed us where the best places to dine were and organized all the excursions for us. He also took care of our trip and picked us up from the airport. Throughout, we were able to enjoy the wonderful dinners prepared by Nirosha including a great seafood barbecue. The house is very well located: only a short walk to the beach and all restaurants/shops. Feel free to book your stay in this house, it's a real little paradise.

The best thing about August beach house is it's location..sits right on the beach with lots of nice bars, restaurants and surf schools nearby. The staff were very kind and courteous and they keet the place squeaky clean through out our stay.

A fantastic stay at The One led by the most wonderful staff who come daily to assist with the property and food. I will absolutely be returning and highly recommend!

We LOVED our stay at Hiriketiya Studios. Nishan was such an incredible host—he went far above and beyond in his hospitality. The place itself is lovely and peaceful with a gorgeous pool and high quality kitchen equipment for cooking. Location wise, it’s in a perfect spot, totally walkable to Hiriketiya or Dickwella beach, cute cafes, big grocery store, and even to snorkeling with turtles.

The place was really nice . It felt cozy and we stayed without any disturbance . Don is a great host , very helpful and he made our trip pretty smooth. Would love to visit again.

A great stay by the ocean. I loved going to sleep to the sound of the waves and watching the turtles right out the front. Lots of food and bar options within walking distance. Definitely recommend!

We stayed in the skippers escape for 7 night, and fully enjoyed our time there. The is remote, private and quite, but with easy tuktuk drives to the popular Hirikediya, turtle point and much more. 5 min walk to a remote beautiful wild beach with turtles and lovely sunrises. Raihana and the team around the house are super responsive and serviceminded, helping us arranging safaris, transport og the best homemade curried with had in Sri Lanka. We enjoyed many mornings and afternoons with the pool and cute house dog, Canopy

Ben J Villa is a lovely place to stay in your visit of Weligama area. Very well located, with a swimming pool, A/C working perfectly in every room. Moreover, Tharindu is a very helpful person, he responds kindly and very quickly to any question. I recommend 100% for a fantastic experience in Weligama.

Our stay at Hela Studio was lovely. We booked last minute as we wanted to extend our stay in Hiriketiya. Marta was a great host and was very helpful with local recommendations and check in process. Marta also helped to arrange a realisable car transfer which was a great price.

Very happy, after careful selection, I happened to see this villa.I was attracted at first sight, looking forward to staying, and when I arrived, I was physically and mentally happy. The manager arranged it well, all the staff were very friendly, and the service was very good!In the guestbook of the villa, I saw the messages of travelers from all over the world who have been here. We enjoyed staying in this wonderful accommodation in welligama! Its a very nice house very close to the beach! We had our own kitchen! the bathroom was clean and good! Access to a washing machine. And the bedroom/Livingroom was very cozy! I love the red curtains! I would recommend this hostage to everyone that wants to stay in between welligama and mirissa!

Wimal’s place was as described , it was very cozy and it has Everything on the description. Wimal and her family were extremely kind and helpful all the time. I feelt safe during all my stay ,(as I’m traveling by my self ) Location wise , I suggest to rent a bike although is walkable to the beach . I want to highlight that the place was very clean and Wimal also helped me to wash some clothes that was highly appreciated! I will definitely recommend this place :)

This was hands down the best spot we found in Hiriketiya. It's just far enough from the busy center to enjoy total peace and quiet, but still only a 5-minute drive by bike to all the beach vibes, cafés, and restaurants Hiriketiya has to offer. The place itself is beautiful—super clean, modern, and brand new. The view is absolutely stunning, and waking up to the sunrise right from bed was a daily highlight. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always happy to share tips and help with anything we needed. We felt very well taken care of. Highly recommend this gem if you're looking for a calm, comfortable, and scenic stay in Hiriketiya!

Lovely large house surrounded by trees. We had monkeys, a peacock, kitten and fireflies to watch. The house is up quite a narrow road and our driver got lost at first but I phoned Ajith the caretaker and he gave perfect directions. He was also at the end of the phone if we needed anything. It's about a 15 minute walk to the beach and many restaurants. Manuo was great at communication too.

Amazing house with even prettier garden! You have a place for yourself, away from the street but close enough to the supermarket (2 mins) and the beach (1,2 km). The place is calm, private, you can really enjoy your stay in peace and calm. For this amazing price I don't think we could find a better place to stay!
