The owner was very kind and we had a comfortable stay. Plenty of kitchen utensils, spacious and clean living room and bedroom. Located in a quiet residential area, it is possible to walk to the town and the beach.

Thank you so much for your hospitality! The place was really cozy and nice, we loved the balcony surrounded by blooming trees. The hosts were incredible - friendly, responsive. For example, we wanted ab extra key and a fan for the balcony - all of our requests were completely satisfied. It was always clean and neat - cleaning every week with a change of bed linen. The place is close to the main beaches, bus stop and everything you light need. Yard is blooming and big enough for parking 4-5 bikes

Had an absolutely fantastic weekend at Lush II. The space is comfortable and beautiful with loads of amenities. We took our dogs, made good use of the kitchen, and loved every bit of it. Thank you for sharing a bit of your wonderful world with us ❤️

Amazing house with even prettier garden! You have a place for yourself, away from the street but close enough to the supermarket (2 mins) and the beach (1,2 km). The place is calm, private, you can really enjoy your stay in peace and calm. For this amazing price I don't think we could find a better place to stay!

This place is a hidden gem, and ended up being our favourite stay throughout our entire trip! The photos don’t do this place justice because it exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by the housekeeper who was super friendly, helpful and easily contactable, as were the hosts who also gave us some great recommendations. The villa is in such a convenient location within walking distance to two lovely cafes which we kept returning to - Swell and Surf Lodge. The Doctors House and Madiha beach is also located close by. It was super handy having the tuk tuks parked close to the property to get straight into. The pool is incredible and is actually bigger than how it looks in the photos. Its also nice and private, and in beautiful peaceful surroundings. We would definitely stay again with our two kids (travelling with a baby and 2yo).

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Sri Lanka and we were a group of 6 people. The property was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with a great pool that made our trip even more relaxing. The location was peaceful and perfect for a getaway. What truly made our experience exceptional was with the host Supun. He was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and went above and beyond when we accidentally left behind a wallet. He not only found it but also arranged to have it couriered back to us—something we’re truly grateful for. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Stella Beach House was the perfect getaway for my family and me. The location is absolutely stunning, with an array of excellent restaurants nearby. The house itself was impeccably clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed the amazing pool. From the very beginning to the end of our stay, Amit, Chaminda, and their team were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. They prepared delicious meals for us almost every day, which truly enhanced our experience. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Stella Beach Villas to anyone planning a vacation in Sri Lanka. It's a wonderful destination for everyone looking to relax and enjoy a beautiful getaway.

2nd time we’ve stayed at the apartment, but first while Andy has owned it. Andy has improved the place greatly and all works well and comfortable. 5 min walk to Hiri beach and 10 Dickwella beach. Perfect for various restaurants. Would certainly go back.

Super cute place, perfect location. Little thoughtful decorations everywhere, the pool is so clean. We’ve stayed for two nights but wish we could have stayed longer. The staff are all really helpful, very protective of their guests and helped organize some activities for us, very good communication throughout. Hope to be back soon.

The best thing about August beach house is it's location..sits right on the beach with lots of nice bars, restaurants and surf schools nearby. The staff were very kind and courteous and they keet the place squeaky clean through out our stay.

The place is great. bed is comfortable, kitchen well equipped and very well located. a few minutes walk to the main beach and 15 minutes to Secret Beach. Prabodi is incredibly kind and helpful, and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Gaia Soul was actually the reason we wanted to go to Sri Lanka. And — (even though we never travel to the same places again) Gaia Soul will be the reason we have to go back. The pool and the skate ramp were so much fun. There are a lot of different hang out zones, so you will always find a comfortable spot. The place is so tidy and clean at all times. The exterior is really nice with the concrete and the orange and pink flowers. The garden areas are taken care og daily. There is a beautiful beach 5 minute walking distance. 
You can order food all day from the neighbour restaurant, that serves delicious traditional Sri Lankan food. (You have to try the curry with coconut sambol and the breakfast pancakes) Sanduni and her team will take care of you from you arrive until departure. We had two morning yoga sessions with Sarka. She is a great yoga teacher. It felt so special to just walk to the open jungle yoga studio in the beautiful wild surroundings. Thank you so much Baxter!

Chamila is a super host. We felt his place was a home away from home. After reaching his property, his wife helped us carry our bags to our room. Since Chamila stays on the property, it helped us settle in quickly. We were staying on the first floor, while Chamila and his family were staying on the ground floor. We liked his property so much that we extended our stay by one more day. While leaving, Chamila carried our bags from our room to the taxi

We had a lovely 3-week stay at Villa-64 Weligama. The house is comfortable, with a working AC and washing machine, and is located in a quiet local neighborhood - away from the hustle and bustle of Weligama town, yet just a short walk or bike ride to the beach and surf spots. There are local eateries and shops close by, and the community is very friendly. Chamara was a great host - responsive and helpful throughout our stay, quickly addressing any issues (like replacing the blender and upgrading the internet speed). The outdoor seating areas are a highlight, with birds, monkeys, and even the occasional mongoose passing by. One thing to note: the kitchen area can get quite hot during the day and doesn’t have cooling. Also, the host’s mother lives in the same building (with a separate entrance) - she’s very kind, and we didn’t mind at all, but it’s good to be aware. We rented bicycles to get around more easily and really enjoyed the peace and space the property offered. Thanks again!

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

We stayed at Kasun's villa for two days and had a wonderful experience. The villa was well-maintained and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable long stay. On the day of our checkout, which happened to be a Poya day when nearby restaurants were closed, Kasun's father provided us with breakfast — a thoughtful gesture we truly appreciated. We will definitely visit again when we’re in Weligama.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Best Airbnb Host Ever! Mohan is, without a doubt, the best host we’ve ever had in our Airbnb experience. From the moment we arrived, her wife welcomed us with warmth and kindness that is rare to find nowadays. He not only invited me and my wife to his home for a dinner but also ensured we felt like part of his family. His energetic and adorable son, Tharoon, along with his wife and other family members, truly won our hearts with their incredible hospitality. What touched us the most was Mohan’s kindness even at our departure—he came all the way to the railway station just to say goodbye. Moments like these that remind us how beautiful human connections can be. In my language (Bangla), "Mohan" means "Great." And our host Mohan is truly a man with the greatest heart. In a world that often feels cold and indifferent, people like Mohan remind us that kindness still exists. We need more Mohans in this world! Highly recommended!!!
