Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Matara

Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wurden gut empfangen, hatten uns sehr schnell wie zuhause gefühlt, haben ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrade bekommen mit tollem Blick aufs Meer, sehr gute Lage, Frühstück war auch immer lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl, sie haben auch ein sehr gutes Restaurant, alle Mitarbeiter stehen bei Fragen stets zur Seite und waren sehr freundlich, bei der Abreise wurde rasch an einer Lösung gearbeitet, wir durfen noch länger am Strand liegen bleiben, bis unser Flug ging und auch das Taxi wurde auch organisiert. Leider war kein Zimmer mehr frei, ansonsten hätten sie uns auch noch ein Zimmer zum duschen gegeben.

Amazing! This Family is so hospitable! We were staying here for 2 weeks and were fully satisfied! + Breakfasts are delicious! And you can get real pleasure if you order dinner - they can cook whatever you want! + All that you need as a tourist you can get right here - the hosts helped us with transfers, bikes, laundry, etc. + Nice location - away from center and noise. Of the cons: - Mattress is a bit old but has good firmness - The hosts did not respond to Airbnb until we have requested a transfer. We even almost cancel our reservation, but after everything was great

Great location with an amazing view.

Chaminda and his family are truly beautiful. I came as a guest and left as family. They are kind, friendly, attentive and true in their genuine hospitality. The room they have is great and the surroundings are fabulous. 5 mins to beautiful beaches and 20 mins inland to an amazingly peaceful temple set within the jungle. I was lucky to have a group of semi local lads staying near me who work locally on a site and whom were so friendly and welcoming. If you want to experience Sri Lanka and the heart of the people who make this country so beautiful and then stay here, for it is a special place owned by a magical family 🙏

We had another wonderful stay in the villa this year. This time I didn't book directly by the sea, but a little further back. The room was very big and the two beds were very comfortable. The terrace was a dream, where I could enjoy my coffee every morning at 7 a.m. with a great view of the sea. Breakfast was as delicious as always and really plentiful (great Sri Lankan breakfast on request) ❤️ The whole team is as helpful and friendly as always. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. This awesome house is run by a very sweet family who are easy to communicate with and always do their best to help. The location is in a very green and quiet area away from the hustle and bustle with a beautiful Buddhist temple and green rice fields nearby with lots peacocks (and all kinds of birds) around. I stayed at this house for two months and it has been a delight.

Ubytovani je na vybornem miste 10min pesky na skvelou hiriketiya 5 min do supermarketu. Vyhled na more taky pekny a ocenuji posezeni na balkone v kombinaci s lednickou. Vpravo pred hotelem asi 200m skvela jidelna pro mistni...

Die Unterkunft war traumhaft schön! Vorallem der Gartenbereich, wo wir ab und zu Affen beobachten konnten 😍 das Frühstück ist sehr zu empfehlen und wird frisch vorbereitet mit vielen verschiedenen Leckereien ! Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen ☀️

Amazing stay with the most wonderful staff. Thank you so much to Indi, Kelum and Anil for taking such good care of us. We stayed for over a month and we were made to feel at home for the whole stay. The garden and pool area is so relaxing, the view from the kitchen and dining area is lovely and the location is ideal. Could not recommend Ebb and Flow enough. Thank you again to all of the team! x

es un hotel con un jardin y una piscina limpia. hay una cocina donde te deja cocinar y el desayuno esta incluido. esta apartadomde la carretera asi se escuchan los pajaros y se pueden ver los lo monos por la mañana. volveremos gracias

Very lovely host! The place has a great location, accommodation is modest and clean plus it includes delicious small breakfast.

A destacar que no está cerca de la zona céntrica de mirissa pero es una zona tranquila y se agradece. Está a 10 minutos andando de secret beach lo cual lo hace muy especial y ver los atardeceres desde ahí es una pasada. Están pendientes de que no te falten comodidades yo comi y cené allí todo el día. No hay aire acondicionado en las habitaciones y hace un poco de calor pero no importa porque las vistas son muy bonitas. Gracias volveré

I had a great stay with my parents at Sumimal resort, the location is great and you can explore Matara as well as Mirissa from this place. It is at a walking distance from the protected turtles beach. The place is clean and it is as it is in the pictures. On arrival fresh coconut water is awesome. I ate at the resort itself, home cooked traditional meal, it was delicious and I am already waiting to plan my stay again whenever I return to Sri Lanka next time. Edwin’s was a special place - a luxurious villa with a spacious swimming pool, beautifully decorated rooms, and super friendly staff. I'm not sure where to begin because Sadeep's family and this place have given us so many sweet memories. We were the first guests at "Ceylon Lazy Lagoon." We felt at home from the welcome drink to the farewell. The apartments have a large sundeck and are beautifully furnished with antique touches. The entryway is only a few yards from the ocean. Everything is beautiful about this place and its people. We were fortunate to see three distinct sea turtles and other stunning marine life while snorkeling with him and his team. The following day, we were meant to go snorkeling with blue whales, but we decided against it because of the severe weather. Sadeep's cousin owns a charming little eatery as well! Man, they make the best Ceylon cuisine. The greatest two nights of our trip to Sri Lanka overall. With a wealth of activities and a lot of love and care, this resort in Mirissa is a must-see.

Great place. Everything is new and nice. Great shower, bathroom and balcony. The map locater took me to the wrong street so be cautious of that. Breakfast is not included (not that it is advertised) but there are many nearby options. Shady Lane has some of the best breakfast I have ever had.
