The Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

This little cabin is for those who know how to rough it. Dog friendly. Bring your own Sleeping bags and pillows. There is a sawdust toilet farm tent just outside the door. Also 100 feet away guests have access to house for a bathroom and showers. For those wanting farm visit, just passing through or base camp for day trips, exploring/hiking base camp. This is it. It's cozy. You can fix breakfast, come and go stay and milk a goat or pet a cow or horse. Barbecue and Fire pit and picnic table.

You'll find restaurants, a supermarket and more in town. Nearby you'll find two state parks. Ocean beaches are an easy drive away, and we're on the Olympic National Park loop. Enjoy our beautiful and updated cozy studio above the garage with a private entrance. Complete with queen bed and a futon, tables and chairs, smart TV with DVD player, fast wifi, kitchenette with fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, coffee maker, coffee, blender, toaster, water kettle and a single burner hot plate. Perfect for a couple and possibly 1-2 small children. There is even a play structure and secret pathway for kids to find treasures! We have 27 grandchildren so we love kids!

Our place is perfect for two adults (no children, sorry) to get away. We are pet friendly with certain limitations, however (read House Rules below). Our off-the-grid log cabin is great for a private, romantic weekend, a contemplative retreat or base camp for adventures around Hood Canal and the Olympic Peninsula. There are good restaurants nearby with indoor and outdoor dining and take out service. We have a stunning view of Hood Canal and the Olympic mountains right from your deck.
