in the district Hüsingen in the middle of the village, next to the old village well, stands our stylishly converted farmhouse dating from 1788, situated next to a horse paddock, not far from the forest. The attic is an oasis of peace. A large wild garden with apple trees belongs to the property and can be used for a romantic campfire, depending on the season. S-Bahn connection can be reached in 5 min by car. A baby cot can be added, children must be very careful with the steps.

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Ein geräumiger Freisitz am Teich, läd zum entspannen ein. 5 Geh-Min bis zum Bahnhof oder bis zum Rheinufer 10 Geh-Min bis zum Supermarkt / Bäcker 15 Geh-Min bis zum Freibad Ruhig gelegen und grenznah zur Schweiz und Frankreich. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Min in Bad Säckingen, Wehr oder Rheinfelden (D&CH) und innerhalb von 15 Min in Schopfheim. Basel ist innerhalb von ca. 25 Min mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Welcome to Steinen-Schlächtenhaus, in the beautiful southern Black Forest! Because here is your renovated apartment. A 1-room apartment on the first floor of an old farmhouse with a separate entrance and about 23 square meters of space, which we have lovingly brought to its current state. The area is perfect for hikers, motorcyclists, bikers and otherwise all who love nature. It is also not far to Lörrach (14 km), Schopfheim (13 km) or Basel (27 km).

Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Centrally located and quiet guest studio

The studio is located directly at the Spalentor to the city center. The house is 5 minutes walking distance from the city center. Also in walking distance you can reach the stop of the airport bus and the direct bus to the train station SBB (3 stops). For car drivers we can provide a garage box 10 francs (night) The cozy, quiet and high quality guest studio (40m2) is located in the basement of a newly built apartment house.

Quiet and cozy apartment in the beautiful Schopfheim on the edge of the Southern Black Forest. Perfect starting point for extensive hiking or cycling. The nearest S-Bahn station can be reached in just 250 meters to take city tours to Basel or Freiburg. A supermarket is only 450 m away. Numerous restaurants or bars await you in the quiet city center to spend a nice evening. We are happy to help you plan your activities!
