Holiday rentals with a pool in McHenry

Everything was phenomenal. Plenty of space to maneuver and have gatherings with loved ones.

I would definitely visit with my family again. Everything was absolutely PERFECT!!!

Great response time. we had a few issues, host was quick to remedy. we enjoyed our stay. would stay again. there is a pool and food at the lodge I would highly recommend. when you arrive there is a security gate at the end of the community, you have to check in with them. they give you your pass and make sure you are supposed to be there. the guard also told us you can get access to go to the lodge or amenities without being a guest staying overnight.

Beautiful home! Kitchen was extremely well stocked. We had a wonderful experience!

Everything is so beautiful, the stay was quiet, a very familiar and cozy space, very clean, everything super tidy, the decoration very nice, an excellent option to spend time with the family

First, I must say... this home met my expectations and more. one you walk in the cabin the decor and wood makes you feel like you are in another world. I love how they had the home set up from the light finishes to the decor on the walls. The furnishing in the rooms with the bedding was AMAZING. The fireplace was so cozy, and I love all the natural light that comes into the home through the big, beautiful windows. The Hot Tub was nice felt it could've been in a different place or had more lighting but overall, this place was amazing and I would recommend this home to anyone coming to visit the area.

We had a wonderful time, home away from home. The rooms were spacious, the decor made everything about a modern cabin-home graciously accommodating, and it was a perfect place for our family. This was the absolute best place to be for our spring break!

We had an excellent stay in 306C. The room itself was clean, the bed was comfortable, fridge was clean and it was nice to be across from the game room. We did not request room service while we were there however there were plenty of clean towels. The girl at check in was very pleasant and explained where things were on different levels. We liked the Aces run bar, the bartender was fantastic, made fantastic drinks and was personable. We did also eat at Fire and Water Restaurant and got steaks which were cooked perfect and the mash/green beans were excellent. The only thing I can say negative is there were no change machines and no one on the resort had change to give so that we could play pool in the game room. This does not deter from the 5 star rating. We are excited to come back in warmer weather with our adult children to experience the lake during warmer weather. We loved being there in the winter to see Swallow Falls a place we have visited many times in the summer. 10/10

We loved this property and our condo. The lake was so beautiful and immediately accessible from our balcony. The entire property was beautifully maintained and updated, with all the most charming original touches. The restaurant onsite was convenient and good (Ace’s Run). The other patrons and staff were friendly and for the price it was an incredibly great deal. The only thing that could be improved are the window coverings. The sun rise is directly across from the balcony windows, which is also right where the bed is. The blinds really don’t keep any light out at all, so we were happy to start our days there early, but every day pretty much starts at sunrise with the blinds as they are. But otherwise the condo was truly perfect. Completely cozy and well appointed with convenient features!

Nice and cozy stay for a last minute trip we booked. Building is a bit dated, but the unit’s decor and 2 levels makes it feel slightly modernized but very welcoming. Nice view being directly on the water.

The stay was great! There were restaurants very close to the condo, the arrow head down the road has everything you need from liquor to gas to sea food! I will say, if you plan on staying here, don't get a first level condo, due to people walking by and looking into your room or possibly even just walking in on accident (which happened). Our bathroom and kitchenette was in need of some TLC and updating but everything else in the condo was very homey and well put together. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

What a WONDERFUL, RELAXING place to stay, right on the lake!! Our Condo was cute and perfect for the 3 of us and could have fit more people!! The pool & hottub was beautiful & perfectly balanced/cared for!! EVERYONE we passed or encountered was EXTREMELY NICE!! WE WILL Be BACK!! My only suggestion would be for the on site restaurants, so may not pertain to Will O on the Wisp....add a small kids menu, or child friendly options. Thank you very much!!

The view was beyond words. Great walkable amenities nearby. Our only complaint were there was a slight cigarette smell when we entered, it seemed to dissipate. And, there was jackhammering all day on the balconies surrounding ours that we weren’t aware of when booking. I guess it was on Will O The Wisp website, but not on the Airbnb listing.

Couch was pretty old and beat up. Could use some cosmic help in the kitchen, but otherwise a great place to relax. Location is fantastic, a rowed a canoe or walked to everything I needed.
