Holiday rentals with a fire pit in McQueeney

This is a truly lovely place, near enough to Wimberley but isolated enough that you feel away from it all. It's exactly what we were looking for and I expect we'll return!

We loved staying at camp Guadalupe for my sister’s bachelorette trip! It was exactly as described and we had the best time! We loved all of the included amenities that Paige had for guests to use like pickleball paddles and balls, tubes, kayaks, and so much more! Would definitely recommend to someone who was looking for a river trip but doesn’t want to stay right inside new braunfels!

The house was spacious and clean. Place was perfect for our one night stay. House is stocked with all the essentials. Definitely worth staying!

We've had some amazing hosts and Christina is definitely top 3! So friendly and helpful. I asked about the grill (it's charcoal). She said a store (1/2 mile away) had charcoal, but when we showed up a full bag was waiting by the grill! We had such a relaxing time at her place. Plenty of firewood and kindling, so we used the fire pit every evening (actually saw a great-horned owl one night!). If you want to get away, this is the place.

The Lake house was an excellent place to stay. For big families. The house is very spacious and beds were comfortable. My favorite thing about the house was the large kitchen. My daughters had plenty of room to cook together. The outside had plenty of seating and we enjoyed sitting outside while the kids played. The water was a bit low but we still did some fishing and kayaking. All overall experience was excellent! Ryan our host was very friendly and informative. We will definitely return 😊

We had a great stay here. Plenty of room for our family, had all the amenities we needed and a big yard with fire pit. We also had fun playing on the basketball hoop and axe game - lots of activities for the kids. Erica was an excellent communicator and even offered to let us check in early.

Adena has a true talent of making someone feel welcome and taken care of. Truly one of the best AirBNBs I’ve ever stayed in! Lives every minute of it. She has made a beautiful space and then shared it in such a wonderful way. Very grateful to her for allowing my husband and I to enjoy some peace and quiet together.

My family had a wonderful time. Quite neighborhood, home was really nice inside and clean, and we enjoyed walking around the community.

I recently returned for my second stay at this fantastic Airbnb in San Antonio, and I couldn't be happier! Richie is incredibly welcoming and focused on ensuring my stay is perfect. The space itself is immaculate and beautifully decorated, blending comfort with style. I loved the cozy living room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to recharge after exploring the city. This time we also used the pool which was extremely refreshing. Location-wise, it's perfect. Just a short drive to all the main attractions, yet located in a peaceful neighborhood. You are right on the Riverwalk so it’s super easy to walk to almost all key locations. Overall, my experience was just as great as the first time! I can't recommend this place enough and look forward to my next visit. Thank you for another memorable stay!

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Oliva's! Cute little space and I loved the common area/patio for people to hang out in and chill amongst the plants. Clean, spacious, comfy bed and bedding! Also many things within walking distance. It was a treat to get to visit a little bit with Oliva and her friendly neighbor! I'd definitely recommend staying with Oliva, and I would love to come back and stay again the next time I'm in San Antonio! Thank you again Oliva!❤️🌞

We have stayed in dozens of home. This ranks up there in the top 5, but the host is #1. What set him above the rest? I asked for an early check in. He said he would need to get back to me as the previous guest will be checking out the morning we are arriving. He advised that he put a reminder in his phone. Friday morning arrived and I didn’t need to follow up with him, he followed up with me just as he said he would do. That kind of follow through is HUGE! I am very happy with Jay! The place was immaculate, penthouse decor. Picture perfect!

Susanne went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I on a very short notice. The bungalow is a perfect stay for two, located few minutes from the Pearl area in San Antonio. We received a warm welcome with baked goods she prepared for us. Susanne literally will make you a better person while staying at her place. From the chicken coop to the recycling instructions she shows to care for not only her guests, but Mother Earth! We truly enjoyed our stay! Gracias Susanne! Book it yall.

Highly recommend. Peaceful and serene. Beautiful space. Loved the front porch with rockers and a table and chairs. High ceilings, nice interior and very comfortable beds. Loved the friendly cats. Hope we will be fortunate enough to visit again. Hosts were very helpful, warm, and gracious. Thanks for letting us stay in your cottage.

Our stay was so peaceful and pleasant! The homemade Greek cookies were the icing on the cake! Short drive to downtown, minimal street traffic and the cowboy tub was the perfect temp for an evening hangout! Will stay again!

Very pleasant place to return to when the day is done! Very close to restaurants and other attractions. Great neighborhood and host.

Place was very spacious with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, a big fridge, and more. Convenient that the elevator is right in front of the door and she provided all necessary information and essentials. The only downside is that there are occasional train horns and the surrounding neighborhood isn't the best. We crossed the bridge to put gas at the nearest gas station, but it was not a good area at all, we did not fill up and left the area immediately. We also didnt feel comfortable walking around the neighborhood, nor was there really anything around the neighborhood, but if you have a car, there are a lot of things less than 15 min away. We felt safer inside the property because of the gate. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Karen was very sweet and easy to work with. The cabin location was the perfect distance to the chandelier wedding venue!! I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

This was my second time staying at cedar cabin with my husband & mother/kids. We love the views and fire pit. You feel like you’re at a secluded cabin but everything is a short drive away! We will definitely be back!

Had the best time at this place! It's a 20 minute drive from Wimberly, but when you're there, it feels completely remote. The hot tub was great, even in the summer heat, and everything worked perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked, and it was easy to bring some groceries and make a meal when we weren't having dinner in Wimberly. Getting cell signal was tough out there, but that made it easy to finish my book! There is also a lot of fun nature watching through the windows and on the patio. I would come back here again.

My family and I loved staying at this cozy home nestled into the beautiful nature of the Texas Hill Country. Pulling in felt like arriving at a private resort, and we all enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the deck to watch the stunning sunset. Our kids loved playing in the perfect sized pool, and the adults loved the experience of relaxing in the sauna while listening to the birds sing outside. The retro arcade cabinet was a huge hit with the kids (and with me, I’ll admit), and we enjoyed watching a family movie on the projector screen upstairs (the kids felt like they were in a private movie theatre). Maria and Larry are incredibly welcoming and proactive hosts; if you need anything at all, they won’t hesitate to help. I could not recommend this place higher, and we definitely will be coming back!

We enjoyed the Cedar cabin, especially the back covered porch with hot tub and lovely view!

This stay was exactly what my husband I needed! I just sat outside and listened to the birds early in the morning, something I also love doing at home. I could've sat outside all day if it wasn't Texas in June! ha! The cabin itself was just as described. The photos do make it seem a bit bigger but honestly, you don't need bigger for 2 people. We went to Canyon to just spend time on the water. After over doing it the first day, we instead, chose to spend our second full day just enjoying the cabin. We had some hot tub time in the afternoon, played board games for a couple of hours, and just rested! For anyone worried about how close the cabin is to the main house, don't worry! It's positioned for privacy! It was so stinking relaxing and I can't wait to go back.

This is the cutest, rustic cabin! Nestled in natural greenery, comfortable decor, and a relaxing River… my adult daughter and I floated, relaxed, and enjoyed our mini-holiday SO much! We ate at Myron’s, shopped, and enjoyed NB’s farmer’s market. My little pugs ran around and napped til their hearts were content. Five Stars! Thank you for having us, Amy!
