House holiday rentals in Mechanicsville

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property on Lake Anna. We had 4 young children and 3 adults for our trip. We had plenty of space in the home, and the beach area was perfect for our children to swim. In addition to swimming off the beach, we enjoyed boating, tubing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. It was so nice to have kayaks and paddle boards included on the property. When we weren’t outside we spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. Evenings were spent down on the dock with a drink watching the sun go down on comfortable chairs. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area as well. We ate at four different restaurants. Had no problem stocking up groceries at Food Lion and grabbing a few things when needed from Dollar General. The surrounding wildlife was big plus. We saw some cool birds and saw deer going across the property at dusk. It was our first trip to Lake Anna but won’t be our last.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed everything the home offered. Lots of things for the kids to do. My daughter enjoyed the pool very much! The home and property were better in person. Super clean and comfortable beds. I would definitely recommend and will return for sure!

Comfortable home that was exactly what my family needed. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Shower on the first floor is my favorite of any place I’ve stayed. Maria was always responsible and was flexible my with requests.

We had a great stay—the backyard is beautiful and peaceful; the pool resort-quality and refreshing; kitchen well-equipped for preparing chef-quality meals; house full of interesting reads, artwork, and games. Everyone from 9 to 92 enjoyed the house. We also explored the neighborhood and found it close to all sorts of interesting places right out the front door. Would definitely stay again next time we come to Richmond.

Truly a lovely “resort” - the home is beautifully updated inside and out! The backyard is truly an oasis. Thoughtfully stocked; no detail was left out. Thanks for a great weekend.

It is an incredible property, pictures and words don’t do it justice. The home, grounds and neighborhood are very well appointed with a wonderful layout. There are multiple outdoor gathering areas, we saw swans daily, the bird and frog songs were enchanting. We walked the neighborhood every day. The pool and landscaping were amazing. The master wing is exceptional. We were there for a family wedding and the “princess” dressing room was very well used. The master bath/ shower room has a steam feature that we enjoyed and the” sparkly” bath and shower were magical for our grandkids ( and the adults.). The art and collections were exotic and everyone, not just the grandchildren were enchanted. We entertained 10-25 guests comfortably each evening. As to previous reviews about cleanliness-it was fine, as per linens, everything was available, clean, folded. PS if you want the St. Regis this property has much more to offer than fluffy robes and slippers. We will be back!

The house was beautiful. Me and my family definitely enjoyed staying here and found a lot to do around us. I always got a response very fast and they helped with anything I needed. Will be choosing them again if I ever come back to the area

This was a great Air BnB, everything you could want. Accurate description, clean and recently remodeled, responsive and flexible hosts. Enough room to hold 5 adults comfortably. Jared was great to work with. Always responds quickly and gave us options and updates on check-in day. The location of the house was perfect for what we needed to do and reach in Glen Allen. The neighborhood is very quiet and easy to get in and out of. The house has a huge back yard and the screened-in deck was a nice surprise for the perfect Virginia weekend. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay. The house is bright and clean and comfortable and we would stay here again. The hosts are very responsive and they provide all the necessities and then some! Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Stayed here with family for a few days. It was clean and comfortable. I'm very picky about cleanliness and we were able to make ourselves at home immediately. It was also very peaceful. We even saw a few deer next to the house! It's walking distance to a supermarket, which is huge when you're on vacation and don't want to spend all day getting essentials! We would definitely stay here again!

Hit reserved! Because from the very start, Kristina was highly responsive and considerate. Her home is truly a lovely, well appointed place of respite, that I found myself noting her design concepts, and landscaping ideas. So appealing was her home, that I wanted to spend more time in it. Then when I met Kristina it became clear that there is good reason for her super host status. She cares to provide her visitors an accommodation experience of the heart. The bedding was plush, and cozy, and while all was spotless, the bathroom was especially so, that it enabled my late night option for a soothing bath. In the morning after a peaceful slumber, my husband and I awoke refreshed to a pot of deliciously hot coffee and creme thoughtfully provided. Finally, it's conveniently located proximity to Richmond proper, offered the perfect place from which to drive quickly to Rockett's Landing for an evening of dinner and sunset views! This place and its hostess is a win win! Thank you, Kristina!

Alexander was a wonderful host. Very responsive and helpful. Check in was a breeze. This was located in a prime location. Tons to do within walking distance. Many excellent restaurants in the area. I highly recommend El Pope, Beauvine, Abi’s Books & Brews, and Little Mexico! The home was beautiful!!! Absolutely stunning in person. Very clean. Great amenities! It is a hidden gem! There’s tons to do if you want to drive as well. Very cute area. Well worth it!! Thank you!!
