Bungalow holiday rentals in Mecklenburg-Strelitz

Clean little place a few minutes from the beautiful Baltic Sea beach. We were there with 4 people for a weekend. The accommodation is already very small, recommended for a longer stay more for 2 people. The bungalow is located in an area with many other bungalows, so you have direct neighbors. That didn't bother us, but it would be nice to show that in the photos. Overall a good place to stay for a small budget, especially the proximity to the beach and communication with the host were very good.

We were a family with 2 older children and a dog. Since we wanted to escape the Christmas hustle and bustle, we decided on the quiet area around Lake Plau. This was the best decision for these days. We felt very comfortable. The fireplace in particular was very cozy and the hostess provided plenty of wood. The open kitchen also invited you to cook together. Check-in with the key on site is also straightforward. If it has not yet been changed, the bungalow number is not the 47 but the 46. We were first in front of the wrong bungalow. The area is very nice too. We hiked the Nordic walking trail with sports stations in Quetzin. Our children found the walk a bit more refreshing and on the way back we passed the trusting Cameroonian sheep. For excursions, the town of Plau offered us a small castle complex and in Waren we went to the Müritzeum. We'd love to come back😉.

We went to this beautiful lake house to recharge ourselves. Everything was great. There are a lot of activities you can do, table tennis, private boat 🛶, badminton etc. Our little brothers had a lot fun with those activities while we are relaxing under sunshine with fresh air

we were four and a baby. it was very spacious and bright. everything was there and very clean. 5 min to the bathing lake, home comfortable beds. it was almost empty in the complex... otherwise other houses are close to each other... may be too crowded.. we were lucky to be alone there

We stayed in this house for the first week of October with four men. We were all very comfortable. It was all very straightforward in communication with Mathias. The location, the absolute tranquility, the good use of the whole infrastructure was very good. We will be happy to come back next year if possible.

It was a great stay! The settlement is located in the middle of the forest and is very idyllic. The house offers everything you need and was very cozy. Glad to come back.

The bungalow is wonderfully quiet, with a huge garden and a beautiful terrace with access to the nearby small swimming lake. The apartment is tastefully decorated, and offers everything for daily use. The communication with Ulrike and her father was pleasant and straightforward. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Beautiful cabin, perfectly clean, greatest hospitality, equiped with everything we needed, our dogs loved the large garden and the dog beach, which is 3 minutes walk, other nice beaches around. Many tips for our daily activities. We also enjoyed local restaurants with delishious fish meals. Absolutely recomend.

What an amazing place to spend quality time with the family. Calm and peaceful ambient to clear out your thoughts while enjoying the clean summer breeze. The pool temperature is controlled and it stays warm and can be covered for a night swim as well. Thank you Heike and Thomas for this lovely experience 😊

This place is a rare find! It’s basically a private spa/luxury retreat but with a Cody family feel, we were absolutely stunned by the detail: an outdoor whirlpool, private gated backyard for our dog to roam about, bikes, washing/drying room, a sauna, and a Hollywood swing. It was gorgeous! The kitchen is top notch- two coffee makers (nespresso and filter), state of the art stove and utilities, condiments, etc. the place is quiet and peaceful and super well maintained and the hosts were always available and ever so kind. We literally felt like we were at a five star resort. The beach is super close and if you want to visit Bansin/Heringsdorf on the other side of the island it’s only 25 minutes, too. Shops, gas etc also only a few minutes by car. We loved every minute of our stay. The kids (age 12,10 and 8) didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend and definitely would love to return. Participation in the Mecklenburg Lake District Tour 2022 There were three of us in the apartment and we were very satisfied. Very clean, very well equipped and extremely friendly hosts. We'd love to come back!

The accommodation was even more beautiful and better located than expected. A very cozy cottage, no car to hear, few people on site and a few minutes' walk away a wonderful little beach. The surrounding nature is breathtaking. Daniela is very hospitable and also available at short notice. Perfect for a break in the countryside with the family, we would love to come back!

A small but nice bungalow with lake view and private jetty. We were warmly welcomed, even with a welcome drink. We were allowed to spend a week there in wonderful summer weather and absolute peace and we felt very comfortable and recovered wonderfully. We'd love to come back.

Thank you very much for letting us spend our vacation here in this beautiful location and the perfectly equipped cottage. We and our small fishing boat were very warmly welcomed by the host - even when "slipping" our boat into the lake we were helped. The location of the cottage is simply fantastic if you love nature and tranquility! There is something to observe from the property all day and evening. We have discovered swans, ducks, geese, kites, eagles and even a kingfisher. The cottage lacks nothing - in any of the rooms. Simply arrive, relax and enjoy! We will definitely come back again - maybe we will catch a pike, which this time probably did not like our fishing rods.....

There were two of us staying in Gunar's cottage for a week. The house is stand alone, no neighbors, and although it is very quiet on a small country road. It does not have enough space even for up to four people (two bedrooms, two bathrooms). The kitchen is very well equipped. We especially enjoyed the terrace with the unobstructed view of the fields. Beautiful starry sky. High quality equipment of the house.
