What a beautiful spot away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful. I highly recommend the is for a great getaway!

Our stay at Petra's was wonderful. The castle has been lovingly prepared. We had the entire upper floor to ourselves with a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of dishes, a huge dining room and impressive large bedrooms, almost all with their own bathroom. The park encourages walking and sunbathing. We also rented the outdoor barbecue area, which is superbly equipped with many tables, chairs, a refrigerator, light and of course a gas grill! It is quiet and you can only hear the ducks, frogs and church bells. Very romantic and the hosts were always helpful and told us about the history of their property. You have to be able to climb stairs, because there are many of them and since the property is so extensive, you have to be in good shape overall. Didn't bother us at all. The surrounding area is enchanting. In particular, the nearby castle and Brandenburg with its many lakes and rivers invite you to many great excursions. Thank you.

I booked Philipp's castle to get out of Berlin with my entire team (15 people), hold workshops together during the day, and cook together in the evening. It was the perfect place for it: not only there are plenty of rooms and beds and bathrooms for everyone, but also common areas and retreats with enough room for everyone. A perfect location to "drive out" with a larger group (work, wedding, birthday, etc.). Philipp was a great host, always there when you needed him, but he also lets his guests enjoy everything in peace, perfect! All in all, it was great 2 days and we will definitely be back!

Great place with great surroundings! Philipp was quick and easy to get in touch with, and provided a detailed list with lots of great tips and recommendations for activities in the area. I could have stayed longer and will definitely consider coming back!

We felt very comfortable. The location between the island of Rügen and the Darss is great. The apartment is spacious, bright, quiet, clean! Everything is tip top;-)

A lovely place with all amenities for a short stay. We felt very comfortable in the apartment of the castle. Could enjoy the tranquility and were at the same time quickly at the beach and in the lively Stralsund. The friendly hostess was accessible throughout and had simply organized our check-in. We were able to spend three days in the Viecheln mansion and have fully reached our goal to enjoy distance from the big city and the associated break. Be it the room, the attached park or one of the beautiful rooms on the ground floor, every single area invites you to linger and dream. I'm sure we'll be back!

The castle is about 15 minutes by car from Stralsund. You really have your peace there. There are several apartments, but you didn't notice the others. Otherwise, the apartment was in great condition and you had almost everything you needed. Only a normal coffee machine would have been nice

We had a nice break at the turn of the year and were thus able to escape the noisy New Year's Eve soundtracks of the city.

I am totally satisfied The property is incredibly beautiful, decorated with a lot of love and you can always find a quiet corner. Kevin and the staff were super nice and always helpful. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Something special, see pictures [which, it's true again, even surpassed by reality]. Absolutely comfortable in the sense of people, location, rooms & things around. Curious communication. A thoroughly successful project, with an obvious sensitivity - without fake kitsch or the usual soulless of hotels & holiday apartments. We had a great time.

We spent a very varied week in the Zarchlin area and had a direct and stimulating exchange with Marianne and Daniel in addition to the beautiful accommodation, which were available for all our questions. The small kiosk in the house and the large vegetable bed have made self-catering easier and enriched us as bicycle tourists. The description of the estate, renovated with care and passion, matches the reality we encountered.

We were warmly welcomed and were guided through the house once. The property is beautiful and every room is renovated and furnished with great attention to detail. Our apartment was very nice, just like in the pictures. We slept great in the bed and just felt comfortable. We booked the sauna for both evenings and enjoyed it to the fullest. The breakfast, which was also booked, was also very, very nice. All in all, an all-round successful holiday with the potential to be repeated.

I highly recommend this as the place to stay. I myself had a room in the lower part of the mansion, with a shared bathroom (women and men separated) and a shared kitchen. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was prepared with love, assistant Uschi was one of the nicest and loveliest people I have met in a long time. The stately rooms and the garden invite you to linger.
