We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

Very nice and spacious home. Extremely lovingly furnished. There is simply missing. There are many cozy seats, games and even a piano. We enjoyed the large terrace and the beautiful garden with herbs, strawberries, currants and cherries with our four children. We even saw a golden eagle. Josef gave us great tips for varied excursions in the Surselva. And there was a lot to discover: alphorn blowers, marmots, hiking, toboggan run, a herd of donkeys, modern art, a procession and medieval chapels. In short: We can highly recommend the house and will gladly come back. Thank you very much for everything Josef!!

We felt very comfortable from the beginning and were warmly received by the neighbors. Very cozy living room, functional kitchen. Very pleasant contact with Britta. The house generally not at all noisy. We slept as well as we have in a long time. A great starting point for ski tours, hiking and sledding. The Prima and a small butcher are also great for a week. Thank you!

Dieter and Sylvia’s apartment is incredible, more beautiful than pictured, on an aquamarine lake with views of snowcapped peaks, farmhouse-dotted mountains, and windsurfers whipping around like dragon flies. We would have happily sat on the patio all day. Or better yet, on the stone steps with our feet in the lake! When time came to go indoors, each room was tasteful and comfortable, with big windows and phenomenal views. The kitchen is well designed, equipped with everything you need. And the apartment was spotlessly clean. There is a ton to do in the area and the town of Flüelen is relaxed and easy. We hope to come back to experience it in winter! Dieter and Sylvia were very generous with their attention, making sure our needs were met in the apartment and pointing us in the direction of special activities outside. Their kindness and hospitality made a big impression on us. This is a magical place. Hands down, our best AirBnB ever.

Beautiful cozy cottage right on Lake Como! We loved our stay here. The kitchen was great and the host provided the first morning essentials (eggs, butter, coffee, yogurt, milk) which was a life saver. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the incredible Finnish sauna! We swam off the dock in the lake daily and hung out in the yard with so many beautiful ducks and swans! There are a couple good restaurants within walking distance, but do be aware you have to walk on a busy road to get to the closest town which is Lierna (10 minute walk). We did not have a car and it was not a problem with the ferry and the proximity to town. I highly recommend this place and would book it again in a heartbeat.

Our second trip to Switzerland and this was our first stop on the trip. We were blown away with the view! This place has it all. Views out of every window, radiant heat, hiking trails galore and everything you need for comfort. The duvets were like giant, soft puffy clouds! There is a restaurant literally right outside your door and nothing else but trails to different locations. Be mindful that the gondola to get here on runs from 8:30am-5-30pm so plan accordingly or you'll have a grueling 1.5-2 hour walk from the bottom. You cannot get here by car. We loved that part! Another pro tip - The 10 minute walk from the gondola to the cottage is a gravel road. We had to drag our suitcases to and from. It's uphill back to the gondola. But none of that will matter when you see the views from the gravel path and the living room window! This place is heaven on earth. Bettina was always quick to respond and super friendly. She made everything seamless! Book it!!
