My family and I live on the sunny outskirts of Waldau, directly in the beautiful Ansbachtal at the foot of the Thuringian Forest. A separate entrance leads you to your area of the house. The bright and newly renovated rooms invite you to relax. The forest is almost at your doorstep. It is only a few minutes by bike to the Ratscher mountain lake. The Goethe city of Ilmenau, the state capital of Erfurt or the Vestestadt of Coburg in neighboring Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

Zu Fuß sind schnell Kurgarten, Bushaltestellen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Bank, Minigolfanlage, Ärzte, Gaststätten und diverse Wanderwege zu erreichen. Über schöne Wanderwege kommt man zu Schloss Aschach. Die schöne Rhön lädt zu diversen Unternehmungen ein. Hier z. B. Wasserkuppe mit Sommerrodelbahn, Kreuzberg usw.
