Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mendrisio District

Claudio was a really kind person, the house is really nice, clean and classic mountain. There is a beautiful fireplace, kitchen, living room and upstairs with 4 rooms still typical of our grandparents' years, scents and smells of antiquity , very cozy! Recommended for a great weekend

Ingrid und Pims place is absolutely lovely! We had five amazing days and felt at home as soon as we entered the house. We were warmly welcomed by Monica and a cool bottle of wine in the fridge. Thank you! It’s a lot of space for two people, we mostly spend time on the top floor and the huge Terrasse with a spectacular view on the lake. The kitchen offered any tool we needed, perfect for making food and feeling even more at home. We would love to come back some time and recommend the place to anyone who seeks for a nice place to stay next to the lake with a great starting point leaving to Italy oder Switzerland. My daughter and I spent unforgettable days in Milena's quiet and beautiful house with a fantastic garden and direct access to the lake. Everywhere there are places to linger, be it for sunbathing, reading, apero or eating. The spacious and very clean house is very nicely decorated and has everything you need. Everywhere you have a fantastic view of the lake. The location is perfect, the bus stops very close, so you are quickly in Lugano, Como or Melide even without a car. Morcote is a few minutes' walk away. Milena is truly a Superhost, she was always there for us if we had any questions. Since our car had to be repaired, she also organized everything with the garage. A big thank you also to her son Renato! This property has earned 6 stars!

We really enjoyed the hospitality and the great atmosphere at Erica and Wolfgang's. If you are looking for peace, exciting conversations and good food, La Crisalide is the right place for you. Meride is a beautiful village and an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions around Lake Lugano. We highly recommend La Crisalide and its hosts.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was festively decorated and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was quiet.. Veronica was an attentive host and always available if we had any questions.

Wonderful place with amazing view, very spacious and comfortable. The host was always available and replying super quickly. Convenient location, 10 minutes to supermarket & several restaurants. Closed swimming pool and table tennis were great entertainment for kids. Would really recommend as price/quality and would wish to come again

Very nice welcome, we had a very pleasant time with Miahoua and her little girl who is particularly adorable. She is a warm and caring host. We immediately feel "at home". We recommend 100%, moreover, the place is just beautiful.

Beautiful surroundings, post bus right at your doorstep. (This is how you can leave the car.) Large house, fully equipped with everything you need! Scorpions can be expected:-) very nice, large outdoor area. Mike was super friendly, will get back to you right away. Absolutely uncomplicated handover. We really enjoyed our vacation!

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We had an amazing longer weekend stay with a few friends at Andrea's place and I can only wholeheartedly recommend it!!! It has a really nice location with possibilities to explore numerous things around (by car). The kitchen was very well equipped and we were amazed at the number of available amenities. View from the balcony was simply breathtaking!!!
