Condo holiday rentals in Merchant City, Glasgow City

One of our favourite stays with Airbnb. Richard is a fantastic host who goes the extra mile. This place is ideal for exploring Glasgow, easy to access with a vehicle and a beautiful apartment. The balcony is a total suntrap and we enjoyed it on a sunny day overlooking Glasgow Green. There isn't a bad thing to say about this place - we already checked the availability before leaving! Thank you to Richard and his family for that proper Glasgow hospitality and offering a fantastic place!

The hosts were flexible and friendly regarding our arrival time. The place was beautiful and clean, and had everything we needed. They even left us some dairy-free groceries, and gave us some restaurant recommendations for our 40th wedding anniversary dinner. Excellent experience!

We had a wonderful stay with Veronica. We accidentally locked our keys into the apartment and she was very responsive and was able to help us and this did not require us to change our travel plans. The apartment is just as listed and in pictures. It was a very cozy space for 4 adults and one teenager to stay and explore Glasgow and surrounding areas. She kindly left hair dryer, hair curler for ladies. The location was wonderful and we walked to local pubs and restaurants and went for a run in Kelvingrove park nearby. Just wonderful.

Katie's place was lovely! Really peaceful and beautifully decorated, with a lovely view of the shared garden from the kitchen window :) It's a quick walk from the park, near lots of good local food and drink spots, as well as train stations / bus stops to get to the centre or other parts of the city! Katie was super friendly and instructions to access the flat were clear.

Perfect location, quiet and roomy. Parking was easy and we never needed the car again until we left. Loved the high ceilings, moldings and windows. A lovely neighborhood to stay in for our first visit to Glasgow.

Lovely apartment in a great part of Glasgow. Quiet location but close to the west end one of the best areas. Although the apartment was small it was stylish with some nice design touches. Very comfortable. Ross was a terrific host - friendly and very responsive. Highly recommended.

très belle maison, très spacieuse et bien équipée. grand lit 2 places très confortable et clic clac dans le salon très pratique. De plus la maison est à proximité d'un très joli parc où il est agréable de se reposer après une journée de randonnée. Enfin la propriétaire est très réactive, accueillante et dynamique. Nous recommandons vivement.

Great location. easy walking distance to 2 train stations with regular services to central Glasgow

This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Glasgow. The city is just a short ride away. It had all the amenities we needed and was comfortable. It has quite a bit of storage for your belongings should you need it. Would recommend this place.

Firstly, the host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The place was easy to find with clear instructions, and it was absolutely beautiful. The flat itself was spotless, very spacious, and packed with thoughtful amenities, including a first aid kit, which is a rare find in most Airbnbs. I’ve honestly never stayed in an Airbnb so well-equipped! The location was also great, just a 5-minute walk to the Co-op and other local shops, and only about 20 minutes into the city centre. Overall, I would give this a solid 10/10 and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Bel appartement spacieux et agréable. Literie bonne, salles de bain très bien malgré un éclairage un peu faible dans la salle de bain face à l'entrée (ça reste un détail). Cuisine très bien équipée, pratique et complète. Nous avons juste eu un souci avec la table qui était cassée mais les propriétaires étaient déjà au courant et attendaient la nouvelle. Le four était sale à notre arrivée. Sinon, rien à redire. Très bien. Nous en sommes contents.

I had a wonderful stay at Anne’s place! The accommodation was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The location was perfect. Host was incredibly responsive and friendly, making check-in smooth and stress-free. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The flat was very clean, organized, and a 10 minute walk from the train station and Aldi. Balloch is a 30 minute walk where there is a park and restaurants. Ronnie was responsive and clear in his instructions.

This was a great option for us, 3 adults visiting family in the Southside. We stayed for 6 nights and Vinnie’s place had everything we needed. Both bedrooms were clean, quiet and beds were comfy. Rain head plus flexi head shower over bath was good, and there was plentiful toiletries and towels available (even new packaged toothbrushes in case someone had forgotten!). Kitchen was well kitted out (including paper towel!) and lounge was comfy. The garden was nice with lots of clothes drying line and pegs. Walkable to Queens Park, supermarkets and food options, and also near public transport. We had a hire car and there was no problems finding a spot on the street. Vinnie was lovely and easy to communicate with. Easy key access from lock box.

Smart flat very handy to the conference centre. Good size for 1 to 2 people... Everything works well including the washer dryer. Quiet neighbours, easy access.. WiFi excellent. Highly recommended and Scott was very helpful and fast.

We were here to catch up with family, but also had a great time exploring. Kilmacolm and the surrounding area has so much more than we expected. We visited Kilmataj and The Cork and Keg - both highly recommended. The accommodation itself is definitely a “Cosy Retreat” with everything you need for a short break.

Superb place to stay. The location is excellent, set just off Byres Road, which has lots of lovely restaurants, bars, shops, etc.. Because it is on a side street, it is still nice and quiet, despite being so close. Easy check in, and a perfectly clean place. There were lots of nice touches (milk and oatmilk in the fridge, coffee pods, hair dryer) which really elevated our stay. I have nothing bad to say whatsoever. David is a perfect host. He is extremely responsive, and very friendly. He checked in with us during our stay to make sure there was nothing we needed. All in all, excellent place, will stay there again if I'm every in Glasgow.

This Victorian building just feels comfortable and spacious with a very large bedroom, dining and lounge room. The Glasgow bus service is a short walk away and can take you to your designated venue with little trouble or you can drive. A lovely botanic garden is within walking distance. The accommodation is peaceful and private and met all our needs at a reasonable price. Stephen provides great support when required and enabled us to feel comfortable regarding our stay. I would put this BnB on my short list when visiting Glasgow knowing I can park my car at the front of this building and utilize its very good location for attending inner and outer Glasgow attractions.

One of the most unique Airbnb stays I’ve ever had, felt extremely luxurious. The beds were huge and super comfortable, and the bathrooms even seemed to have heated floors. We were able to visit specialty grocery markets in Glasgow and cook in the very expansive kitchen. The art décor was beautiful, and the TV room was incredibly cozy. To top it all off, the view of the park is remarkable, with a backdrop of the majestic buildings of Glasgow University. This is a prime location for Glasgow, many top attractions are within walking distance. On check-in day, the host sent a comprehensive list of the best restaurants and local attractions across all cuisine categories.

Great flat that's just as the host described. My family and I all really enjoyed our stay, from the location to the amenities at the flat to the welcome basket Anni provided, it was all excellent! We would definitely stay again.

Lovely flat in a quaint building with old world charm. Very close to museums and beautiful parks. Lots of restaurants if you want to go out. Quiet and relaxing if you want to stay in. Groceries and local small businesses are plenty in the neighbourhood. Easy to get to city centre as well as to Loch Lomond. Host was friendly and courteous.

Our group of 3 couples had a fabulous stay. The apartment is modern, spacious and well equipped. Excellent location, with easy access to the city centre and transport links. A comfortable base to explore Glasgow. We would definitely return
