Guesthouse Refshalegården

Enjoy a cozy holiday in the countryside - in UNESCO's biosphere area, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and in the middle of nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish/Japanese couple, three small dogs, a cat, sheep, running ducks and chickens. We have renovated the entire farm to the best of our abilities and with a high degree of recycled materials. We love to travel and make sure the house is comfortable and cozy. We have tried to decorate our guest house as we think is nice. Let us know if you're missing anything!

Voted Denmark's Most Beautiful Cottage 2014

The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. In addition, the landscape is created for beautiful walks and bike rides.

Our small house is 105 m2 with three rooms, large living room. Kitchen with most amenities. There is a wood stove, gas grill, washing machine, WiFi, Chromecast, covered terrace, possibility of storing bicycles in a closed basement. Important to know: The house is not furnished as a rental house, but personally. All we expect is that the house is left in a neat and clean condition upon departure. Close to shopping, harbor and beach. Præstø is a small cozy town with about an hour's drive to Copenhagen and Møns Klint.

1st floor in villa in 1st row to Præstø Fjord, quietly located within walking distance to Næbskoven with large garden down to the fjord. The apartment includes: Living room and kitchen, all room with dining area and sofa area. Office with sofa bed. Bedroom with double bed. New bathroom. The apartment has a balcony with a barbecue and from the bedroom there is access to a smaller roof terrace. Carport with room for 2 cars and 3 parking spaces. There are also 2 kayaks that can be used for sailing on the fjord.

Skønt lille sommerhus med ude-bad indbyder til ro og afslapning i naturrige omgivelser. Huset har ude-køkken med spiseplads, og stor terrasse. Huset er funktionelt og indeholder alt hvad man skal bruge. Der er entre, sammenhængende køkken og stue med brændeovn, soveværelse og badeværelse. Desuden er der et smukt ude-brus med varmt vand, ca. 10 meter fra hoveddøren. Her kan bades det meste af året mens man nyder naturens elementer samtidig. Området er naturskønt med smukke vandre og cykelruter.

Drying

In 2008, the old drying shed from Tostenæs sawmill was converted into a carpenter's workshop. Today, the end of the barn is a two-story vacation home. We live in our own house next to the workshop. From the holiday home there is in front of the kitchen and the living room a separate area with table, bench and small sandbox - if you go a little further there is a completely undisturbed garden to use. You also have this garden all to yourselves.
