Even on the sunniest days, these lakes remain quiet and uncrowded, frequented only by locals in the know. Thoughtful Design, Natural Light Lovingly renovated with a deep respect for both heritage and the environment, the cabin features reclaimed hardwood windows and terrace doors, as well as timeless mid-century teak furniture. Large windows and glass doors flood the interior with natural light from sunrise to sunset. From the bed or the sauna, watch the golden light melt through the trees at dusk. Heating The cabin has two electric heaters, but the main source of warmth is the wood-burning fireplace. It quickly fills the space with a deep, even heat and adds to the cabin’s cozy atmosphere. Firewood is provided (please bring your own lighter and firestarters ) and making a fire is part of the experience of staying here. The electric heaters are available for a little extra support and to keep the temperature during the night!

If you are looking for a place to stay in the countryside with proximity to Potsdam and Berlin, then this spot might be just right for you. Potsdam can be reached by bus or car in about 15 minutes. By a regional train connection in the village, you are from the Wilhelmshorst train station in 30 minutes at the Berlin main station. The property has a sunny south-facing terrace and an approximately 1000 square meter garden to relax. After a day of sightseeing, your kids can play here to their heart's content.

It isn't large but has all the comforts without being fancy. The cottage is charming and old, not a designer tiny house. Berlin's center and Potsdam can be reached quickly. Private access, balcony with water views, terrace and garden all around. Living room with kitchen, bathtub, bedroom and extra sleeping space for an extra charge on the sofa bed. We live next door, so never an access or key problem. We are on the Wall Trail. Pets are also welcome.
