A beautiful place to stay, well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, really cosy enjoyed the fire pit. Aura was quick to reply and gave some great advice on places to visit and left some nice welcome gifts.

The Oriole feels like you’re sitting in a treehouse on the porch. Lovely! The interior is quaint and clean. Thoughtfully appointed space with a place to hang a few items of clothing and a suitcase rack, but otherwise don’t bring unnecessary luggage because, as described, the space is small. The location is walkable to all restaurants and shops. We enjoyed exploring a bit on the bikes which are great amenities along with the hot tub included in the stay. Would definitely recommend!

Craig and Marina always go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need. His property is so private and peaceful. Beautiful view of the lake and sunsets. This was our second year we stayed at one of two of his Units and it won't be our last. Look forward to returning.

Our cabin was absolutely beautiful. Such a stunning view!! The parking space is a bit compact but such a small price to pay given the awesome stay. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy. Fire pit was awesome. Such a good view of the lake!! There is not much to do as a tourist around the cabin. Just the few local shops and the beach/marinas. We had to drive 1 hour plus to do our activities. There is no fast food nearby; There are a few local bar/grills but i'd recommend cooking in the cabin. Note that the stairs that are available for users to get down to the actual beach are 3-4 flights of EXTREMELY steep stairs followed by a vertical ladder. There are public park access sights near the cabin that are more accessible.

Awesome place! And felt like we were walking into a Family Cottage. The photos and decor were inviting, utensils, pots, and pans and linen are all clean and provided. They left instructions and literature detailing local attractions. Thanks again for letting us use your happy family cabin.

The stay was absolutely gorgeous! At the back of a long and winding lane. Plenty of wildlife to watch by the campfire. would highly recommend and if we stay in the area again we'd consider staying at this place again!

My husband and I absolutely loved this home! Being from Metro Detroit, the ability to escape to peace and tranquility is something we really appreciated. Reconnecting with nature and each other without the noise of the outside world was great! The home was very clean, the property was well maintained (and mostly bug free!) and the communication from Doug was timely and clear. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone hoping to relax and recharge!

Great stay, enjoyed the private beach. Fire pit, outdoor amenities were great. Inside was just enough to provide somewhere to shower, sleep and cook all while enjoying outside. Does get some minor noise from being next to the park, but by no means would prevent us from staying here again.

We recently stayed in Sarah’s beautiful cottage by the lake in Hale,MI over Memorial Day weekend.Its a very easy drive from Ann Arbor.This destination worthy cottage is beyond beautiful with Rustic and modern farm house feels! Everything at the cottage is thoughtfully and meticulously planned and you can see the labor of love of the owners at the property. The place is warm and inviting like and we had a wonderful time in this little slice of heaven with gorgeous views. Hot Tub was a bonus since the Temp was still in 50’s.Sarah was very kind and responsive through out our stay. You couldn’t ask for better Hosts!

This was our first time in a tiny house and it was so cozy! It had everything we needed! I loved the beautiful trees around us! It’s close to Traverse City. It has an outdoor fire pit (with wood provided) so we made a fire the second night we were there! The description of the place is very accurate! We enjoyed our stay so much!

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay! This place was everything described and more! The hosts were super responsive and every detail of this place was perfect! We were able to use the bikes that they provided to ride over to the local beach! The place itself was super clean and decorated beautifully! It’s also super close to the dunes as well as New Buffalo which was a short drive away and has cute shops and restaurants to visit!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Detach! The hike in was not too bad and all our stuff fit into the cart to haul. We did bring linen and pillows based on other reviews. It was a relaxing stay despite some bugs/spiders inside which is to be expected 😆

This house was perfect for our overnight trip. The house had such charm and comfort. Would definitely recommend!

The camper cabin was perfect!! Jack and Luke are GREAT hosts! They thought of everything! They even left us some fudge which was a sweet surprise! Make sure you look at the sky at night it’s beautiful. The cabin is comfy and the ports potty was clean. If I could have extended my stay I would. I might be back someday! I’d recommend to anyone who likes the outdoors but enjoying sleeping inside.

I absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be coming back with friends and family! The entire property is so peaceful, and the animals add such a heartwarming touch. It really makes the place feel special. The space is super fun, relaxing, and comforting. It had everything we needed to feel right at home while still being the perfect little getaway. Our dog loved it too! The fenced-in yard made it so easy to play and hang out with her, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches. There were treats, towels, toys, and even dog bowls provided. Whether you’re traveling with people or pets, this spot truly has it all. Highly recommend!

The cabin was perfect for us! It was the perfect amount of space for my boyfriend and I and our two dogs. Loved that we had our own kitchen, shower, etc. with any essentials provided. Luke was also wonderful and extremely helpful when we had some transportation problems and needed a late checkout. 10/10 recommend, we will be staying here again!

Joel was a great host! Was very responsive and provided great insight to local eats and where we should enjoy some great food during our stay!

My mother and I really enjoyed staying here, Mary Jayne had put so much thought into this airbnb it was a wonderful experience. We wish we could have extended the trip just to stay in the She-la shed longer, it was a dream to be here.

We loved our little getaway to Scott and Jennifer’s beautiful property! It has everything you need to have a fun, comfortable and peaceful weekend - we felt right at home and loved the pool and hot tub with beautiful views. We also brought our pup who was a big fan of the fenced yard and exploring every nook. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Our stay at Little Bear Cabin was great! We were so cozy and felt at home. Chris and Amanda were super friendly, informative, and provided us a wonderful space for our vacation.

Great little cottage area with a cute fire pit area that we used. Met John the owner, as we were arriving and he was very nice.
