This very charming, cosy and rustic log cabin is located on a private lake on the outskirts of a quiet family farm in North Chideock, just 5 minutes drive from the Jurassic Coast. The tranquil surroundings make this place the perfect romantic getaway for couples and an amazing place to spend a holiday as a family. Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron. Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

The Shippon. Unique luxurious South Devon getaway.

A calm, deeply luxurious space to recharge & reconnect. The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. This beautiful, spacious garden studio is hidden away in a private, leafy and secluded garden, screened off by beautiful trees and shrubs. It is in a friendly, quiet suburb of the city, just 2/3 mins walk from the nearest train station, bus stop, shop, cafe and takeaway, and about 1.5 miles from the city centre. An ideal base for a city break, or from which to explore the beautiful Devon coastline (25 mins drive to Exmouth and the famous Jurassic Coast) or the spectacular wilds of Dartmoor.

Amongst the trees, the cabin is in earshot of the seashore with views from inside and outside of the ever-changing tides and hills beyond. Porthole Log Cabin has a king-sized bed with en-suite bathroom, complete with a roll top bath and a separate walk-in shower. Outside, the large elevated decking area has three separate seating areas to enjoy the ambience of the peaceful setting.

The Architect’s Chambers is a refurbished Architect’s Studio set privately in the grounds of our home, in the town of Wellington. This unique space offers fully fitted kitchen, a cosy snug area, spacious bedroom with Kingsize bed. Along with a shower room with large rainfall shower. Tucked away with private access there is ample street parking for multiple vehicles. A short walk from the town center and the stunning Wellington basins it’s a great base for exploring.
