House holiday rentals in Milly-la-Forêt

We stayed at Anne's place for a week on a climbing trip. The house is beautiful and gardens were absolutely huge! We were left wanting for nothing as the house was fully equipped including everything you need to cook up a feast. All the shops in the town are in walking distance and the place always has a bustle about it. We will definitely be staying again!

A beautiful house within walking distance of Barbizon village. The garden was pristine and a wonderful spot for breakfast. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, and the house had lovely nooks for relaxing with a book. Helen was very responsive and the guide left at the house included all the necessary information. We hope to return.

Jessica and her children's home was perfect for our stay with friends. The children had plenty to enjoy outside (trampoline, swing, balls, etc.) or inside (board games, an ex-tra-or-di-na-ry playroom). Adults also around the spacious terrace, the cozy living room and the quality barbecue (not to mention the jacuzzi). Jessica was a very thoughtful and accommodating host, even by interposed messages. The 5 adults, 3 children and baby who were present during this stay ALL recommend a stay in Poligny :-)!

Jean Yves and Sandrine were very responsive and welcomed us perfectly when we had a car breakdown on the way and therefore had to delay our arrival. The breakfast offered is hearty and we enjoyed the fresh bread in the morning. The spacious and well-equipped accommodation is a very good surprise. A little note for Lol, a very playful and friendly dog participates in the excellent quality of the welcome. We recommend it and will be happy to come back if we have a chance.

We had a great time, I was a little apprehensive about the fact that the accommodation was on the owners' property and frankly 10/10 the hosts were very responsive, discreet, everything was thought out as it should be, we were able to enjoy the whole garden and a small corner with the minimum of overlooking was available, the pool water was very good. We'll be back. 🙂

Our group had a wonderful stay at Pascal, the location is perfect for groups with all facilities you can imagine. For activities you must look for in the surrounding area. We went kayaking and visited Chateau Fontainebleau, all relative close by. Pascal is very friendly and quick to react to any questions. Would definitely recommend the place to groups who are looking for a quiet and relaxed French experience.

There were 5 of us and it was perfect. Each had their own sleeping and bathing area. The kitchen was fully equipped, the living room cozy and the terrace quiet and inviting to relax. Everything was clean. There was nothing to complain about. We highly recommend it.

Great find. There's a pizza place around the corner, a nice yard (w/ friendly but curious chickens) and the place is so clean you'd think it's brand new.

Nathalie was very accommodating and friendly, the place is very well located to access the village and bouldering sites. Having access to the bikes is also great.

This is the perfect place for a 2-4 people trip to enjoy the beautiful fontainebleau forest. The host is very friendly, the location very good, quiet and nice. The home has all you need to live easy and also has a nice little garden, porch and bbq.

We had a lovely stay at Sarah's house, nestled in the heart of the Trois Pignon Forest. The location offers unparalleled privacy, perfect for a peaceful getaway, and the spacious garden was a highlight—our kids absolutely loved exploring it! We stayed on the ground floor, which had two bedrooms but only one full bed and one toilet. This is worth noting if you're traveling with a larger group. The house itself was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed, though we encountered a couple of minor issues: the showerhead in the single-shower could use some attention, and the kettle grill wasn’t quite functional. Despite these small hiccups, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with plenty of nature and charm, this is a wonderful choice! We had a wonderful time at Matthias and Julie’s place. It’s spotless, comfortable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The surrounding area is beautiful, the village is peaceful and friendly with the sound of birdsong and scents of honeysuckle and roses all around. We were there to boulder and it’s an easy wander into the beautiful forest to reach the rocks. The local Carrefour carries the basics and there’s a good market on Fridays. We made daily visits to the boulangerie. Our hosts suggested La Papote for dinner - it’s a 30 minute stroll away and absolutely worth it. We hope to stay again.

A very cute little house, spacious and carefully decorated. The environment is quiet and pleasant. We were very well received, the hosts were kind and respectful, I recommend this accommodation 100%!

Nice countryside, big garden so fun 4 kids with swings and trampoline, and easy to walk the dog into the nearby forest. Kitchen with different devices. Tip: the nearest train station is Buno Gironville for a daytrip to Paris. Communication with Frederic was easy via app and his mom was the host. Especially nice to be in spring or summer to enjoy the garden.
