"Bucking Bull Bunkhouse" on Bucking Bull Farm

Experience this "ole" west one of a kind cabin and go back in time to the early 1900s. Take a soaking bath in the cowboy brothel type tub. Get a laugh seeing a recreated outhouse bathroom but with a modern toilet. Enjoy eating on a chuck wagon tabletop. Additionally, sit by an open firepit and make complimentary s'mores all while gazing at the galaxy of stars, watching the wildlife, and viewing our cattle during the day. Molly our gentle jersey may even let you pet her at the fenceline.

Enjoy a quiet, relaxing vacation at Cypress Bay Townhomes on Cypress Lake. It's located on a quiet cove of the lake on 15 acres of lush, green grass with plenty of trees for shade. Relax in a hammock or grill out on your private patio. Have a boat or jet skis? There's a boat dock right outside the back door. A public boat launch is just right down the road for your convenience. This is a great place for a family or several couples that just want to get away from the stress of everyday life.

The simple life!! Quaint little house just close enough, and yet far enough away from the city bustle. Lake Claiborne and Lake D'Arbonne are nearby, for fishing or watersport, and there is ample parking for the boat. Situated on 6.5 acres of a variety of trees, the property includes a hiking path around the perimeter, a seasonal creek, and occasional wildlife. Plenty of parking, inclusive of two covered spaces and room for an RV if needed. Very special and unique features for the area.

We welcome all guest into our charming four bedroom farmhouse decorated in French country. Enjoy privacy on this 20 acre gated property with plenty of parking space for vehicles and boats. About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. We can always see water from our property, but the water’s edge is out past the trees. Great for a walk in the lakebed! also, please check out our neighboring property, Shades of Blue!

Caddo Lake Mallard House w/access to Caddo Lake

Escape for a week or a weekend to world famous Caddo Lake. Surrounded by the largest cypress forest in the world and designated as a wetland of international significance, property will accommodate a couple with comfort. The Mallard House includes full kitchen, wi-fi and a queen bed. Water access is 7 minutes away and includes access to our private lake lot with fishing pier, canoes and kayaks. Get away for the weekend and come stay with us!

The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
