It is a patrician house; the ceilings are higher (2.20 m) than typical Appenzell houses. The kitchen is fully equipped. 2 high chairs for children/baby cots are available. Dogs are welcome. Please register. Hiking trails start as soon as you cross the street. Important: There is also a separate listing on Airbnb for renting the entire part of the house (8 people).

The studio is located on the first floor, has its own private entrance, and is completely separate from our living area, except for the shared staircase. Studio Narnia

The flat comes with a huge balcony / terrace from where you can see the Säntis (part of the Aplstein massif) and the historic village of Rehetobel. The flat itself has an ancient tiled stove, but modern heating as well. You can reach the village centre and the shop in a few minutes afoot. A small up-hill stroll grants you with a fantastic view of the Alpstein massif and Lake Constance. The village and near surroundings offer quite some restaurants, hiking paths and the like.

You can enjoy a mostly fog-free break at 1000m altitude with beautiful views of the Säntis and the Alpstein. Several hiking trails pass right by the house, and a fitness course in the forest can be reached within 2 minutes for a workout. You can find shops for your everyday needs in Speicher and Teufen, and the city of St. Gallen can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Access to the property is via a forest road – in winter, a 4x4 vehicle or a 10-minute walk is required.

With us you can escape everyday life and get a taste of country life. You are also welcome to get an insight into our farm, not far from the vacation home. Fresh milk directly from the cow and eggs from our chickens can be purchased from us.

Bungalow with a dream view LOMA BUENA VISTA

Holiday cottage on the sunny slope with beautiful views. After a short but somewhat steep walk to the bungalow, you can enjoy the view of the Alpstein with our local mountain, the Säntis, on a cozy terrace. There are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Please note: From the parking lot, it is about 100 m on foot relatively steep up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest.
