Holiday rentals with beach access in Mondello

It was my second stay at Francesca’s lovely place. This time I was travelling with a group of friends. We all loved the apartment a lot. It is in a perfect location next to the harbour, which makes it walkable to all major sights and fabulous restaurants. Francesca is a great host where conversation was super easy. We will come back to Francesca’s place for sure. Thank you for all your help and that you made us feel like home in Palermo :-)

Everything was perfect, Salvatore is a perfect vote. Accessible, proactif and know perfectly his country, all advices from him was so good. His home is perfect to be not so far from town but quiet as we wanted!! The view was so beautiful from our wake up , just open eyes from the bed and you see wonderful seaside view. Thanks for everything Salvatore, for sur well come back to your villa.

Wow! From the moment we arrived Francesco and Cynthia made us feel welcome, at home and we left feeling like part of their family. The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful, private section with everything we needed - including a lovely outdoor shower, table and chairs. The private pool was perfect for a dip after our day trip to Palermo. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Mondello beach, and lots of bars and restaurants. They responded to every request immediately - even driving to the supermarket to buy us bottles of water! Cynthia even wrote a plan for us when visiting Palermo - which we used and worked perfectly. We’ll remember this holiday forever because we got engaged on the trip. But also because we met such wonderful people and stayed in such a beautiful home - thank you Francesco and Cynthia! As promised, we will definitely be back one day ❤️

Both Frederica and her father was warm and welcoming. Responsive and willing to help with anything in question. The place itself felt unreal, being so close to the beach and Caletta Santa Elia. Would definitely cone back!

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans ce logement. Les lieux étaient très propres et spacieux. Le fait d'avoir une salle de bain complète par chambre est un atout considérable pour une grande famille. Nos hôtes se sont montrés proactifs et réactifs. Ils étaient très gentils, nous ont donné beaucoup de conseils et recommandations. Tout s'est déroulé de manière facile et fluide. À notre arrivée, des aliments de base nous attendaient au frigo et dans les armoires, ce que nous avons grandement apprécié après un long voyage. Le logement est facilement accessible et du stationnement gratuit et à l'ombre juste devant était toujours disponible, ce qui est un avantage significatif dans le secteur, souvent bondé en raison de la plage à proximité. Le seul inconvénient est le fait que le logement se trouve à côté d'un boulevard assez bruyant. Il est difficile de se détendre sur la terrasse car le bruit des voitures, camions et motos est incessant du matin au soir.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Palermo, thanks to Maria and Livio’s hospitality. They were extremely helpful and communicative throughout the whole process - accommodating our later arrival and departure, and providing a detailed optional itinerary with sightseeing recommendations around Palermo. The apartment had all the necessary amenities, and it was a lovely and memorable stay.

Fantastic stay! The apartment is everything that it is announced and more. You will be surprised by the attention on the details (cudos on the amenities). The location is very special and the view is absolutely beautiful. The beach is quite busy on weekends but much calmer on the weekdays. We had a perfect stay. Giuseppe made everything even more special, the most thoughtful and caring host I've seen. Ricorderemo sempre questo viaggio con grande affetto. Grazie!

We just loved this place! Valeria and her father Aldo were delightful hosts, always at the ready to help with whatever we needed. The apartment is the entire second floor (American) of a large, elegant house facing the public part of the beach at Mondello--which meant that we simply walked out the door and into the ocean, bringing only our keys and towels. The cheerful sounds of the beach float up to the balcony, where we spent many hours watching the world go by. Yet it was peaceful and quiet at night because the street between the house and beach is entirely closed to car traffic June 3 to September 30. Tons of restaurants nearby, and a 20-25 minute drive to the centers of Palermo and to Monreale. After exploring each day we came home to evening swims. Note: this is a home with personality where a family was raised, not a sterile condo. We loved its homey vibe, lived-in quality, and generous space. Beds, AC, showers, kitchen were all clean and functioned well. Hope to be back soon!

We loved the place! The view is stunning and the apartment is spacious and well equipped. Filippo is really friendly and communicating with him was quick. Shower was a bit chilly and sometimes there was a bit more music from the beach than we would have appreciated but we will keep very fond memories of this place.

Roberto ist ein toller Gastgeber, er ist sehr fürsorglich und hat uns super bei allen Fragen unterstützt. Wir haben uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist in einer Traumhaften Lage, auf jeder Ebene mit toller Aussicht aufs Meer. Das Highlight ist der Private Zugang zum Meer. Der Pool bietet alles was man für einen tollen Urlaub benötigt. Parkplätze sind im Grundstück vorhanden. Wir hatten einen VW Bus, ein Motorrad und ein kleines Mietauto dabei. (und Mountainbikes) Die nähe zum Flughafen war für uns sehr praktisch, weil wir mit der ganzen Familie dort waren und unsere Kinder zu verschiedenen Zeiten angereist sind. Ein eigenes Auto ist notwendig um Mobil zu sein. Für uns war es perfekt weil wir ca. 50 min ins Kletterparadies San Vito del Capo benötigten und auch mal nach Palermo fahren konnten. Die Entfernung zu den schönsten Orten in West Sizilien sind mit <1Std. zu erreichen. das Wohngebiet ist sehr Ruhig und gepflegt und wir haben uns immer sicher gefühlt. Danke an Roberto

Amazing place! It felt like home. Alessandro was very responsive and kind enough to accommodate any of our needs. Pictures show the beauty of the place: nice private terrace, spacious bedrooms and a nice new kitchen. A small bakery and a supermarket just around the corner was a nice benefit. 10min walk to the beach in a safe area. We will definitely come back!

Luciana and her family were wonderful to deal with and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is on the 1st floor of a building in their garden. They kindly allowed us to use their drive to park our hire car. The apartment has a beautiful roof terrace which is accessed via an outdoor spiral staircase. A great place to have a morning coffee or to enjoy a good book, the view is great and there’s even a view of the beach through the houses. The apartment is compact but with everything you could need (especially air con!). Mondello is a great place to base yourself for trips to see things on the North, west and central areas of Sicily. Luciana and Valerio spoke the same amount of English as I do Italian, ie not very much, but this didn’t hinder our communication and friendliness. Their lovely daughter Laura messaged us in English regularly so it was very easy to communicate. I would highly recommend this wonderful place to stay in Sicily.

El alojamiento forma parte de una hermosa vivienda con jardín. Segregaron una parte pero con acceso independiente y zonas claramente delimitadas. Al amanecer sólo se oyen los mirlos, tortolas y palomas torcaces. El desayuno en el jardín es muy agradable Habitaciones frescas con techos altísimos. Cierres de puertas y ventanas excelentes. Cocina con todo lo necesario. Se aparca fácilmente en la puerta. Nos hemos sentido como en casa. Playa a cinco o diez minutos. Parada de autobús a cinco minutos. Muchísimas gracias a Giada y a su amable padre.

Gabriele’s place is great to relax and explore the surrounding part of Sicily. I’ll definitely recommend a car to get around and do the shopping but essentials such as ice cream and a bakery are in walking distance. The place fits 7-8 people easily and all the essentials are there. Gabriele is a great host, kind and super responsive! Definitely would come back.

very nice place to stay in mondello. everything was perfect. the only problem we had was weak reception of wifi in the bedroom but we had 20gb mobile data so it was not a problem we couldn't cope with it

The place was beautiful and more spacious than we had anticipated. The view from the sun deck is mesmerising. It’s a walkable distance from Mondello beach. Clotilde, the owner, was proactive with our check in and check out and provided helpful information on local amenities. Overall, I would recommend!

Leti's apartment was great. We had a private outdoor terrace/balcony where we watched the world go by when we weren't out ourselves. There is a plethora of restaurants and other amenities all within walking distance. The kitchen was well equipped for the 2 dinners we made there, all with supplies from the grocery store down the street. The 2 separate washrooms were also very convenient with 4 of us staying there. We very much appreciated the coffee maker, which brewed American-style coffee. There was also an espresso machine Leti's apartment was a great spot from which to explore the strip in Modello and the surrounding area. Thanks very much, Leti!

Easy check-in with special thanks to Antonella for patiently waiting for us to arrive. Michele and Doriana were responsive and very helpful, going above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. The home is as described in pics, and perfectly positioned for an incredible view of the sunrise. The area is easy to walk with beaches, shops, restaurants, bakeries, cafes and more nearby. Inside the home is decorated with amazing artworks and paintings that almost made us forget the natural beauty outside. Gabbiano Blu is a heavenly slice of Sicily. Highly recommended! Thank you Michele and Doriana for sharing your beautiful home in a beautiful location!

My husband and I spent four nights at Daniele’s place and just simply wish we could stay there longer. The apartment was very nice; spacious, fresh and very clean, with the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed the view of the harbor. Parking spot, right by the apartment, was priceless. Daniele and Claudia were amazing hosts; kind, friendly, always super responsive. We would love to stay in their place again!

what a stunning place. the apartment was exactly as pictured and in such a beautiful place. the view in a morning with coffee is just what I needed. massimo and luisa were perfect hosts and I can honestly say two of the most genuine lovely people. gave lots of lovely reccomendations and advice for getting around. I cannot wait to go back!

Santo fue muy cálido y amable. Nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones y nos recibió enseguida para mostrarnos todo. El alojamiento está en un lugar ideal entre la terminal y el centro. Mejor ubicación imposible. Además tuve la suerte de recibir un muy lindo regalo cultural de la hermosa Palermo. Pude llevarme un libro del alojamiento a casa que me interesaba tanto como la cultura italiana. La casa de Santo es hermosa, todo pulcro y cómodo. Les recomiendo quedarse varios días y viajar en auto a donde quieran. Visitaría mil veces más. ¡Gracias, Santo y familia!

Nous avons passé 6 jours formidables dans le Airbnb de Julianne et Giuseppe. L’appartement est propre, calme et reste frais, ce qui est très appréciable avec la chaleur sicilienne. Il est idéalement situé, proche des plages, des commerces et d’un excellent restaurant (merci pour les recommandations !). Julianne et Giuseppe ont été des hôtes exemplaires : toujours disponibles, attentionnés, et d’une grande gentillesse. Ils nous ont même proposé de nous rapporter des choses à chaque fois qu’ils faisaient les courses. Une expérience parfaite avec des hôtes en or !

The house was absolutely perfect. It is in brand new condition with everything that's needed for a relaxing holiday! the hosts have put effort into making the place perfect and homely. Great attention to detail put into the renovation of the property. Location is very convenient just 30mins drive from Palermo and a 3 minute walk to the sea with great restaurants and ice cream! Armando also went above and beyond with communication and kindness and we really appreciate the great service and kind gestures
