Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Monestier

Virginie's place just outside Saint Emilion is a beautiful place to stay. Surrounded by vines on this working winery. the cottage is very spacious and has all the amenities we need. It was lovely to sit outside, surrounded by vines on a sunny afternoon, with a wine, playing a game of Bocce ! This is a much better option than staying in Saint Emilion, which is less than a 5 min drive away Would highly recommend Virginie's place to enjoy a wonderful few days in Saint Emilion

I rented this home to enjoy some family and friend time away from otherwise hectic French travel. This was perfect! It felt like staying in the home of a dear friend or family member. And, the host recommended a private chef who provided cooking lessons and a birthday luncheon! Unforgettable!! Unlike any other Airbnb property for its charming hosts, the beautiful character of the property and the amenities we enjoyed. Lots of nearby wineries, Bergerac had great charm and food, boat ride on the Dordogne, and more. No one wanted to leave! We hope to return!! Merci beaucoup, Karen & Charlie!!

What a beautiful place! The property was absolutely gorgeous. Extremely well equipped kitchen which had absolutely everything you could need. We cooked delicious meals with wonderful produce bought from various local markets. The attention to detail was faultless. We felt right at home straight away with comfy furniture, amazing beds and quality linen. The air conditioning was such a relief with temperatures in the mid 30's. Thank you for providing such a lovely property and being so responsive in sending all the information needed to enjoy a peaceful holiday. We will definitely be back.

This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

Très beau gîte, nous nous y sommes senti très bien. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir dès que nous en aurons l’occasion.

Magnifique propriété au coeur de la campagne, propre, bien équipée et chaleureuse. Piscine et jacuzzi à disposition. Lieu parfait pour déconnecter le temps d'un weekend ou plus. Nous en avons également profité pour faire une balade à cheval. Marine a été accueillante, disponible et discrète. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Odette, de vrouw van François, ontving ons vriendelijk en liet ons direct thuis voelen. Zij zorgde ervoor dat wij direct in relax-modus konden. Wij kregen ook tips over wat wij eventueel konden doen en omdat wij op doorreis waren, wat we ook beter ergens anders konden doen. François en Odette kwamen tijdens ons verblijf meerdere malen checken of alles naar wens was waardoor we ook gezellig hebben gekletst. Zeer gastvriendelijke mensen en een top studio (die schijnbaar ook nog gerenoveerd gaat worden). 'S ochtends vertrokken wij om 08:00 en zij stonden klaar ons uit te zwaaien. Zeker een aanrader!

Une Hôte TRES attentionnée. Un logement à la hauteur de notre attente situé dans un beau petit village où nous avons beaucoup apprécié le marché du dimanche matin proposant des produits du terroir. Ne pas hésiter

Séjour très court dans le cadre d'une formation, mais néanmoins très apprécié. Logement doté d'équipements de qualité et aménagé avec soin. De quoi s'occuper est également laissé à disposition, c'est agréable, tout comme les petites attentions des propriétaires. Des échanges intéressants avec Jean-Paul sur la vie du village et les oiseaux des alentours. Une parenthèse "nature" chez des hôtes qui la respectent. N'hésitez pas !

Die Wohnung und das Haus sind sehr liebevoll renoviert und behutsam modernisiert, sodass sich mittelalterlicher Charme und hoher Komfort verbinden. Der Garten ist groß und schön, die Lage perfekt. Françoise war sehr freundlich und hilfreich bei der Ankunft (sie spricht auch sehr gut Deutsch) und der Check-Out war unkompliziert. Alles in allem eine tolle Erfahrung, wir wären gerne ganz lange geblieben und hätten die Ruhe und Schönheit des Ortes genossen!

This was a return visit for us, once again it was great value. Tegan is an excellent host, helpful and friendly, we had a great stay.

The apartment is right in the middle of a beautiful village, and everything you could want is just steps away. There are several different markets that take place in the square that the apartment looks out over. The flat is large and well-equipped, but the kitchen stands out. It is large and has every kind of kitchen gadget that you can imagine. There are many many things to do and see in the village and within thirty or forty minutes drive. It is really an ideal location.

Un grand MERCI à Jane et Tony pour nous avoir fait partager leur petit coin de paradis. Tout était présent pour que nous passions un séjour de rêve. Le logement est d'une propreté impeccable, tout comme la piscine qui est magnifique, située à quelques mètres de la terrasse privée mise à votre disposition avec barbecue. La situation du logement est idéale pour admirer les couchers de soleil et le paysage à perte de vue. Jane et Tony, sont des personnes d'une grande gentillesse, de grande discrétion, réactifs et toujours soucieux du confort de leurs invités. Vivement les prochaines vacances que l'on puisse y retourner si nous revenons dans cette superbe région. Je recommande fortement.

Elaine est une hôte charmante, flexible et arrangeante ! Le cadre est superbe, une belle maison au calme avec de belles chambres et salles de douches rénovées. C’est avec plaisir que nous reviendrons dans ce lieu si l’occasion se présentait !

This is the second time we have stayed at Loustalet. Need I say more? Extremely comfortable home, everything we needed for a family holiday. Nightingales sang in the woods, buzzards and kites soared above us and we were visited by hares and deer in the garden. The house is well situated for what we needed in Castillion la Bataille and close enough to enjoy Saint Emilion and Libourne. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful yet respected our privacy and we are surely to return again.

Stunning house with everything we could of needed! Super comfy beds and all having our own ensuite was fab. Small supermarket is only a stroll away with everything we needed for a weekend food shop! Sophie was lovely and let us come in the house before it was ready/ check in to put our cases in. Thanks again for a lovely weekend!

Chateau Des Reves exceeded our expectations in every way! Nestled in the heart of a stunning vineyard, this 2-story retreat offered the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. The backyard's swimming pool and breathtaking views of the grapevines were absolute heaven. The thoughtful gesture of placing a complimentary wine bottle added a lovely personal touch. Located just 15 minutes from Libourne's busy streets, Chateau Des Reves provided the ideal balance of peace and accessibility. Prompt Responsiveness of the host was another plus point. This is a place I would recommend to all holidayers seeking peace and tranquility. May be the price could be a tad lower to make it even more attractive. Overall a great experience.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour… Le domaine est magnifique. L’endroit est calme malgré l’aéroport à proximité. Les espaces de vie sont spacieux, la literie est confortable ,piscine , jacuzzi, commerces à proximité tout y était. Le personnel de la conciergerie est adorable que ce soit à l’arrivée et lors du départ.. Un endroit à découvrir..Je recommande ++++

Een mooi charmant huis en met smaak gerenoveerd. Echt gezellig ingericht en voorzien van alle comfort. Het huis is gelegen in een rustige omgeving met een prachtig uitzicht. Leuk met de verschillende zit en ligplekken in de tuin en het zwembad is zeker een meerwaarde. We werden warm verwelkomd door Natasja en ze gaf ons goeie tips om de regio te verkennen. Kortom een echte aanrader, weg van de drukte en een plek om echt te relaxen!

Gîte très agréable et très bien restauré par les propriétaires. Très belle vue. Tout s’est très bien passé.
