Monthly Rentals in Monte Rio

We recently enjoyed a five-week stay at this incredible Airbnb nestled among the majestic redwood trees and serene running streams of the Russian River area. The house was immaculate and fully equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The sunroom was a highlight, offering a gorgeous space to relax. The high-speed internet was a significant advantage, as both my husband and I were working remotely and frequently participated in Zoom meetings without any issues. The property is very private, providing a peaceful retreat. It’s worth noting that there are approximately 50-80 stairs leading to the house. While this wasn’t a problem for us, it might be challenging for others. The location is excellent, being close to both Guerneville and Monte Rio, and just a short distance from the Russian River. A huge bonus was that we were able to bring our little pug, Joey, and he absolutely loved it too! We highly recommend this place.

Amazing Hosts, Perfect Location, and a Cozy Stay Our extended stay here was absolutely fantastic! The hosts were incredibly friendly and generous, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location is a dream—nestled among the redwoods and perfectly situated near the Sonoma Coast, wine country, and alongside the Russian River. The space itself is spacious yet cozy, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Whether you're looking to explore nature, enjoy some wine tasting, or simply relax in a serene setting, this spot has it all. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. We can't wait to return!

It's a pleasure for me to drop 5 hard-earned star's on Annie's Monte Rio cabin. The location is private, homey and beautiful, with a general store and river access a mile away and all the services of Monte Rio town not much further. The property itself is large and nestled amongst the redwoods for privacy and serenity, both of which are easily appreciated from the hot tub. The host is incredibly responsive and proactive in her communications, we felt right at home as soon as we punched in the keypad code. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Cindy's place is by far one of the best Airbnb's we've rented. (And we're frequent travelers/Airbnb users). The cottage itself couldn't have been more cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. The touches throughout really enhanced the "in the redwoods" experience of being on the Russian River and in beautiful Sonoma County. The hot tub was a huge plus. Most of all, we adored the location; quiet and serene, yet so close to Anderson Redwood Preserve, Sonoma Coast Beaches, Guerneville and it's burgeoning restaurant scene, Bodega Bay, Occidental, Sebastopol, wineries, and our favorite, Osmosis Spa. We're already looking forward to (and crossing our fingers that there will be availability next year. We are motivated to make this an annual trip!! Just fantastic!!
