Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Monte Testaccio

From the moment we stepped into the place it felt very cozy. In a very quiet neighbourhood and as mentioned, a minute walk to the bus stop to take you to the city of Ancient Rome. Places to eat nearby as well. The highlight of the place was the spacious outdoor patio, where we took nap each afternoons. The place itself was equipped with nice comfy bed, kitchen with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove where we made caffe every morning. The bathroom was nice and clean, we had one minor issue on day 1 but Apollonia and her partner came over right away at night to fix it and now that is going above and beyond to provide an excellent service. Grazie Mille :) Again, I can’t emphasize the Catello home, would definitely recommend this place and will book it again without any hesitation.

Appartement confortable pour 2 personnes. Fenêtres double vitrage isolant très bien de la rue. Emplacement idéal, très central. Quartier sympathique. Même si l'arrivée s'est faite en autonomie du fait de l'horaire tardif, nous nous sommes sentis très bien accueillis par les diverses petites attentions. Alessia a été très réactive sur nos demandes d'information et a été de bons conseils pour les restaurants. Séjour très agréable.

Paola var meget imødekommende og vi kunne komme af med bagagen før tid. Området super hyggeligt med gode restauranter. Indkøb lige nede på gaden. Vi gik ud til seværdighederne, men tog taxi hjem. Mange gode skridt på “kontoen” og rart at komme væk fra alt det larmende turist mylder, når vi tog hjem til lejligheden. Nød at sidde med kaffen på altanen. 😍 Kan varmt anbefales

Un appartement incroyable que je recommande chaudement. La terrasse est magnifique et vaut le détour. Si vous souhaitez être au cœur de la fête dans un quartier très vivant, cet endroit est pour vous. Il y a plusieurs bars agréables et de délicieux restaurants ouvert jusqu’à tard autour de l’appartement. (Bruit à prévoir) Facile d’accès et un hôte réactif, j’y retourne n’importe quand.

Simone was the best host I have ever had on Airbnb!!! The check-in instructions were so clear and easy to follow which was great after 30 hours of travel! The place was private and has everything you could want. Not to mention the courtyard is beautiful and a lovely place to relax! I would absolutely stay again and could not recommend it more!!

Silvana ed io abbiamo trascorso un piacevole soggiorno di una settimana da Serena. Alloggio molto pulito e funzionale, vicino alla metropolitana e numerosi autobus che ci hanno permesso di accedere a tutte le principali zone turistiche. Purtroppo non ci è stato possibile conoscere Serena di persona a causa di un'emergenza , anche se ha mantenuto sempre i contatti con noi via messaggio, abbiamo invece conosciuto la sua amica Adriana, che è stata molto reattiva e ci ha dato ottimi consigli su ristoranti e luoghi da visitare. Esperienza super positiva posto consigliatissimo.

My husband and I had an amazing time in Trastevere and thoroughly enjoyed Livia’s beautiful apartment. As a number of reviews have mentioned —it’s at the top of a long flight of stairs, but the walk is more than worth it. We enjoyed coffee on the terrace each morning and had a lovely evening with takeaway pizzas with the faint sounds of people in the piazza below. Truly charming. You feel like you are away from the chaos when you’re in the apartment but can join easily at any time. The apartment is well set up and there are a number of nice features like a laundry machine which we made good use of at the end of a long trip. It’s our first time staying in Trastevere and we would happily come back.

Had a great stay at Petra’s place. Convenient location close to cafés walking distance to the Vatican comfortable accommodations.

Our stay with Valerio was fantastic! He accomodated our late check in and welcomed us personally and explained all the amenities. The apartment is very luxurious and modern with the jacuzzi being the highlight. Very well furnished, the home had everything we needed. We were close to the Vatican so it made commuting to our tour very easy. We spent the evening outdoor part of the house, and thoroughly enjoyed using the jacuzzi while watching TV. We are glad we chose to stay with Valerio and we highly recommend!

I couldn't recommend more Pio and Iolanda's home to any traveller. The energy of the home is peaceful and soft - while remaining visually outstanding. Pio and Yolanda are two of the kindest and fun-loving souls I have ever met. They deeply respect your privacy, yet are there in a heartbeat if you need them. They open not only their home through this experience, but their hearts. If you want to feel at home in Italy, this is your place. I enjoyed being out of the city for peace and restoration, surrounded by the symphony of birdsong in the yards and glorious gardens after spending a lot of time in city centres. I also was invited to enjoy a beautiful dinner with their family one night. What a special experience! Thankyou for having me - til next time!

Wir haben vier wunderbare Tage in Rom verbracht. Die Wohnung liegt gut gelegen, so dass man zu Fuß und dann mit Bussen oder Straßenbahn alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Rom gut erreichen kann. Die Wohnung ist wunderbar ausgestattet und hat alles was man benötigt. Serena ist sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation war perfekt.Sehr zu empfehlen.

I cannot say enough about Klevin. The apartment was exactly as described, clean, gorgeous, quiet, comfortable, easy to access. Most importantly, Klevin was ALWAYS accessible to us. We were robbed in Rome and Klevin went above and beyond to help us get new passports in time to make our cruise. We owe our entire vacation to him and his kindness.

Our stay was awesome, and both hosts made everything very convenient. They are about a 15-20 minute walk from the metro station and you can get everywhere from there. They provided us with all the information we needed and answered our questions. The place is very homey, and I would definitely stay again!

Anna Maria is one of the best host I have come across my stays on Airbnb, she has an excellent independent house, sparking clean and close to Rome terminal (walkable 15 mins). The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils and equipments which helped to cook and feed my toddler during my vacation in Rome. The rooms are amazing with all the amenities. . I experienced very easy check in and check out and her helpfulness was really amazing and unmatched. . I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an Italian house close to Terminal and with good restaurants nearby.

Le logement de Giacomo se trouve à l'arrière d'une résidence paisible et bien entretenue du Trastevere. C'est Simin qui nous a accueillis de façon chaleureuse. Le quartier est très agréable, le logement est tout à fait conforme aux photos et vraiment bien équipé (notamment la cuisine). Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour romain !

The apartment was clean and spacious. Carla was available if needed. Great communication. The location was perfect and was easy to walk around and find everything we needed in the area. There is a tram and train station. Every Sunday the flea market is literally in the square. Bedroom is in the back so there is no traffic noises.

My stay at Marco’s flat was nothing less than spectacular. The location is so convenient. A mere 6 minute walk from Termini Station from which you can find train, metro, and bus options to get anywhere else in and around Rome. While it is very close to the busy Termini area, the flat itself is a peaceful, serene oasis. The flat has authentic charm and really feels like a home away from home. The terrace is huge and provides great views of the surrounding areas. The kitchen was well equipped and had many options for making espresso/coffee and Marco provides some basic sweet breads for breakfast. Marco is an artist and the flat has several of his paintings. There is a lot of great art in the place. It seemed that every time I looked around I would find something new to admire. I highly recommend Marco’s place when you are visiting Rome.

Great place, awesome location. You have everything just around the corner, restaurants, train station, ferry. Lots of options to do at a walkable distance.

Fantastic find, quiet, relaxing and beautifully furnished penthouse apartment with private secluded roof terrace in the centre of Rome, 10/10 for us! O apartamento é um achado, muito próximo de todo o agito, e ainda assim muito silencioso e tranquilo. Tudo esteve de acordo com a descrição do anúncio, tudo que precisamos durante nossa estadia estava à disposição, e o local tem iluminação indireta, tornando o ambiente aconchegante. A anfitriã foi muito prestativa, nos ajudando com transfer de ida e volta ao aeroporto, e sempre respondeu prontamente às minhas dúvidas, com muita educação e gentileza. Trastevere é um bairro único, cheio de encantos e sabores, e dá pra fazer tudo à pé, basta um pouco de disposição. Fomos caminhando ao centro de Roma, ao Vaticano, ao Coliseu, e tudo mais. Definitivamente uma experiência a se repetir.

This was my first time visiting Rome, and choosing this place was one of the best decisions I made. I’m leaving with so many wonderful memories, thanks to this stay! Carmen was an amazing host! I arrived a bit early and needed to leave my luggage, and she was incredibly helpful. She explained everything in the house perfectly and even recommended some great local restaurants, which turned out to be fantastic. The apartment was just as beautiful and spotless as shown in the photos—clean, well-organized, and welcoming. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance in the future!

Super séjour dans ce logement où tout est à disposition. Parfait pour quelques jours à Rome et facilement accessible en transport. L’hôte est très agréable et bienveillant. Forcément je recommande vivement !

Прекрасное место для отдыха, хозяин отзывчивый, помогал со всеми вопросами и отвечал на них практически сразу До конца не был уверен, что все будет так, как на фотографиях, но я сильно ошибался, ведь вживую все было даже лучше Единственные минус - это то, что дом находится в 30 минутах езды от центра города , а такси в риме стоит довольно таки недешево

Ale foi muito gentil e prestativo, o apartamento é amplo e limpo, a localidade tem fácil acesso a linhas de ônibus e metrô para se deslocar para os principais pontos turísticos, o custo benefício é muito bom comparado ás principais opções no centro histórico, definitivamente vale a pena!!
