Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Monterey

Absolutely lovely! The hosts were welcoming and the room was clean with everything we could have needed. It was a short walk to the boardwalk, the wharf, a bowling alley, and the 'casino'. The garden is beautiful and I loved learning about the history of the house. Adriana was very cute with the breakfast and making sure we were comfortable. I love that it is an actual BnB with the opportunity to chat with fellow travelers! I would love to visit again.

Adriana and Constantin were great hosts. Adriana went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and we’re constantly fed with snacks. Breakfast was great! I stayed at this location for the Ironman and it was close to the pier and depot park. Everything was walkable. I would recommend for this place for future athletes or just a nice B&B getaway!

Adriana was the perfect hostess! This property is an easy walk to the Santa Cruz Wharf. My son completes the half triathlon yesterday. We had a great stay.

Becky puts so much thoughtfulness into her hosting - we felt like honored guests. The room was very comfortable, the hot tub was perfect on cool evenings, and the snacks and homemade breakfasts were an unexpected delight. We genuinely enjoyed the conversations Becky shared with us and would stay again if we were in the area!

Cliff house is a cozy, peaceful place to be. We came for our son's graduation and stayed a week, and Adriana and Constantine were lovely, kind hosts, with many stories to tell. Breakfast, conversation, beautiful garden and porch for relaxing, and a fantastic location. We hope to stay there again.

The place was beautiful and quaint. Loved our room, breakfast was nice and location was ideal. The only draw back was on our last day and night a couple with 2 young children checked in, the noise was bothersome and the running back and forth from above was a buzz kill but luckily it was our last day & night

That was my second stay at Annmarie and Jessie’s place and if I ever travel back to Monterey I will 100% stay at their place again. Everything about it exceeds expectations and the people who live and work there are happy to see and talk to you. Thank you for your hospitality!

Wow wow wow wow WOW. Best most unique bnb experience we have ever had. Did not want to leave. Rick and Suzanne run the most beautiful BnB business. They personally greet each guest and give them a quick history lesson of the house and the area. They have thought of everything and go above and beyond, from bed side tables and outlets next to each bedside, brandy in the bedrooms for a night cap, homemade cookies, tea and coffee always available, a cute little communal fridge with drinks called the rabbit hole and so much more. Dorothy their innkeeper is also fantastic. They all have extensive knowledge about the area and will give great lunch and dinner recommendations if you ask. You won’t need any breakfast recommendations though because their homemade breakfast is better than anything you could get at a restaurant. We cannot wait to go back!!

This is my second time staying with Annemarie & Jesse. This time, I stayed in the Sandpiper with my fiancé for two nights. The room was spacious and everything was clean. They have a beautiful yard that I was able to enjoy this time as my fiancé and I ate breakfast outside one morning. The Sandpiper had a cute view of the neighborhood and a small view of the ocean. The hosts were always so responsive, which I love and appreciate! This historic house has thin walls, so you can hear a lot of the other visitors. But they provide ear plugs at the bedside. Our bathroom had an issue with the shower head water pressure, but once I reached out, they came and assessed it asap, and tried to fix it as much as they could on the same day. Overall, would stay here again next time I visit Carmel or Monterey! It’s such a great value and great stay. Thank you!

Their home is a very quiet and comfortable place. The garden was my favorite with flowers and succulents that I had never seen before. The rooms are big and the bed was comfortable. Our biggest struggle was trying to park our big 2500 Ram truck we rented. However, having a gated private parking area gave us much peace each night. We would certainly go back and stay there again!!

Brenda and Bill's home is beautiful and spacious, and has an incredible view of the valley. They were warm, friendly and generous during our stay and were fantastic hosts. Rooms are very comfortable and cozy, shower had great water pressure and heat. highly highly recommend!!

Incredibly beautiful and super comfortable. I was blown away by the beautiful and serene garden. The room is really cozy and the bed was so comfortable. I will visit Monterey again just to stay at this place. Thank you to the hosts!

Alex and Nuby’s home is just as described. It is clean and has all the amenities we needed. Loved the hot tub! Their home is comfortably furnished, surrounded by serene, beautiful outdoor areas. We rented all 3 bedrooms and had plenty of seating for our family; there are also smaller seating areas for couples. We would prefer to visit in the summer, when it’s warmer to enjoy the pool!

This is our 2nd time staying at Emilie's place, and each time has been great! We have family that lives in Soquel, so we have to stay in the area often. Emilie's place is only about 10-15 minutes from Soquel and is always a much better price than a hotel! You can tell Emilie puts a lot of time and effort into ensuring her guests are comfortable and cared for. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

I had a great time! The area is beautiful and the Inn is at such a great location- you can walk down the coast into Monterey or you could walk into Pacific Grove. The food here was delicious. Highly recommend!

Amazing location a block away from the ocean. Even though it’s a short walk to the aquarium, the area was very peaceful and it felt safe to wander around at night.

Absolutely perfect. The bed was comfortable. The sheets and blankets were soft. Our little fireplace did the trick for the chilly evenings. Bathroom was well stocked and large. Breakfast each morning was hot and fresh. Delicious little muffins were available at all times. Furniture in the living room was soft and cozy. We had a lovely lovely stay.
