Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Monti, Rome

Our stay was AMAZING! The view was breathtaking and the space was so clean and cute! Would 1000% recommend to anyone going to Rome! Niccolò met us at the door on behalf of Federico and gave us a tour and showed up how everything worked and where everything was! Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Rome!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at Vincenzo's house - it made our trip to Rome truly enjoyable. The location was perfect—close to the Colosseum, bus stops, restaurants, and grocery stores. We were able to walk to major attractions. The street had amazing restaurants. Despite being in the center of everything, the house was quiet when the windows were closed, and we slept well. The small patio was a beautiful addition and gave us a lovely spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. The host had thoughtfully provided everything one might need—from toothpaste to an ironing board, from paper towels to fruit juice in the fridge. The small details reflected how much thought had gone into the guest experience. Vincenzo was extremely responsive on the Airbnb app. He checked in on us and replied to everything promptly. Enrico welcomed us upon arrival and showed us everything we needed. It’s an old house, as one would expect in this part of Rome, and the history added to the experience.

What a fabulous stay we had at Camilla’s place, one of the best we’ve had. She was super helpful about a flexible check in and very responsive to all our questions. The place was exactly as described and had everything we needed and much more than we expected. The kitchen was very well equipped including a dishwasher. WiFi was excellent and local recommendations delightful. Nice ten minute walk to metro station and beautiful shaded patio area for evening drinks and dinner. Our stay was excellent in all respects and we cannot fault anything about the property. Would love to go back and totally recommended.

Silvia's studio was ideal for our needs. It was very close to Trevi fountain and thus the spanish steps also, location was right amongst the action. Check in instructions were very clear and easy, the building was authentic but the studio itself was modern, clean and spacious. It also had a small washing machine which is a bonus. We were able to walk to all major attractions, the Colosseum and Vatican were both each about 30 minutes walk. Locally was great eating places and shopping. Rome Termini was a 10 euro taxi away. Sylvia gave great advice on local dining and transport tips. Would definitely stay again next time.

This place is situated a little far from Rome central but has very reasonable bus/tram connections so getting there isn’t too difficult. The apartment was clean and well described. A comfy bed with an AC unit nearby which is needed as it does get quite hot at night. Our hosts, although we didn’t meet them until the end, were so helpful, communicative and generous. We are not wine drinkers but a bottle was left for us with a note. This would be a nice touch for those after a long day of travelling. Overall a very good experience

The location it’s great for dinning and walk

Gorgeous apartment and the balcony in the evenings was perfect after a day of exploring. With our 3 children it was in perfect walking distance of parks, playgrounds and the Colloseum. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. Valentina was really helpful and communicative before, during and after our stay. Thank you SO much for the amazing hospitality!!

Had such a lovely stay at Andrea’s place. Super accessible to metro which made travel into city centre easy. Lovely house and location - had everything we needed, with a quiet surrounding neighbourhood. Very responsive host, felt at home here. Thanks!

Alessandro was a great host. Responsive, kind and very helpful. Easy to communicate with. His space is in a wonderful neighborhood and walkable to all the attractions Rome has to offer! The bed is in a loft and may be a little tricky to navigate if you have any accessibility needs but other than that, it was rustic, clean and a lovely stay!

Guido's place is located in a very walkable area but outside of the primary tourist locations in Rome which can get quite noisy and crowded. Lots of restaurants, a fantastic gelato shop (Fassi), a nice park nearby, and it's about a 15 minute walk from the Termini train station. The location was perfect for us, and the space provided everything we needed for a short stay in Rome.

Christiana’s penthouse apartment is amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views of the Coloseum and skyline are amazing, particularly the sunsets. Christiana is super communicative throughout. One of the best Airbnb hosts I’ve ever had. She kindly provided snacks, coffee and tea, a bottle of prosecco… I highly recommend Christiana’s penthouse.

We stayed two nights in Emilio's apartment and it was an excellent experience. The place is as shown in the photos: clean, comfortable and charmingly decorated. The location is perfect for getting around Rome, with easy access to public transportation and close to several attractions. Emilio was a very kind and attentive host, always available to answer any questions and give us local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again on an upcoming visit. Thanks for everything, Emilio💕💕💕!

Rudi’s place was perfect for our traveling family of 3. The apartment was big, bright and functional. The air conditioning was much appreciated as it was HOT in Rome while we were there. We were walking distance to everything. We walked to the Colosseum and surrounding antiquities on one day. After we visited the Vatican (taxi), we took an Uber to the Spanish Steps, walked to the Trevi Fountain and back to the hotel. Even in the heat, it was walkable. Rudi was super helpful and answered all of our questions. He was super helpful with transportation to and from the apartment and even scheduled our airport pickup. The washer was useful, but with the drying rack on the terrace, we were not able to utilize the terrace. It was too hot anyway so that did not bother us. Lot of restaurants nearby. Our favorite pasta place happened to be just around the corner, Le Tavernelle (so good!). Gelato is just on the corner! Perfect place, would recommend and stay there again if we ever come back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Erika's property. The accommodations were lovely, and I had a fantastic time. There are numerous restaurants nearby, along with an excellent selection of gelato shops. Everything is easily walkable, and if you prefer, a short Uber ride of about 10 minutes can take you to most major attractions. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a quiet and peaceful getaway.

We had an amazing stay in Rome! Within walking distance to local sights and very close to public transportation. We would definitely stay again if we come back!

Michael was a wonderful host, and the apartment was everything we hoped for. Regarding the apartment, the location was fantastic with glorious balcony views of the Colosseum, Forum, and more. Walking distance to many great places to eat, get gelato, and explore several tourist sites, and a convenient launching point for farther excursions. The apartment was clean and in good condition. As a host, Michael can’t be beat. He reached out as soon as we booked and provided local recommendations, several of which we later tried out with great results. He was communicative prior to our stay, and once we arrived he met us at the apartment to show us how everything worked and answer any questions. Michael was quick to answer any questions we sent his way during our stay, and even provided several additional recommendations when we mentioned how much we like gelato! All in all, we had a great trip to Rome, and Michael was a big reason we enjoyed it so much!

This place is awesome. It’s so much bigger than the pictures convey. It’s obviously right by the Colosseum, but bus lines to anywhere you’d need to get are right outside your door too. Also don’t miss the Basilica of San Clemente that’s a block away. It was better and emptier than most of the typical tourist spots we went to. Stefano was very responsive and helpful. The rooftop is incredible and everything was so comfortable (including beds and A/C).

Fantastic find, quiet, relaxing and beautifully furnished penthouse apartment with private secluded roof terrace in the centre of Rome, 10/10 for us! Daniele and Violetta are excellent hosts, very accommodative for early check-in request. I really appreciate their quick communication on various queries related to local recommendations. The house is very comfortable for our family stay.

This place was exactly what I hoped it would be. It's perfect for one or two people who want to be close to the historic center of Rome and near some good restaurants. I heard little outside noise, and I always felt safe in the unit and in the neighborhood. The hosts had cleaned the unit well - I saw no dirt when I arrived. I also used the washing machine and drying rack routinely because clothes get dirty quickly on hot Roman summer days. The hosts treated me with courtesy and respect at all times. I would happily stay here again!

This apartment could not be in a better location - you are ridiculously close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, but tucked away in an adorable side street so it's not busy or loud. Giulia was really helpful and let us in earlier than the check-in time because of our early train arrival. The place has a lot of stairs, which weren't an issue for us but something to be mindful of. I would recommend this apartment and would love to stay there again!
