Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Montopoli in Val d'Arno

Very Nice property. Great place to enjoy a quite relaxing break. Very peaceful. Lovely garden and pool which are very tidy and well looked after. You need a car as the property is a reasonable distance from any main shops. There is only one air conditioning unit which keeps the main part of the house cool, however I would prefer units in the bedrooms as well. If you are looking for peace and quite in the Tuscan countryside with a pool then I would recommend this property. The hosts are responsive and available.

Wat hebben wij het getroffen bij Tenuta Verde. Monica en Daniele zijn gastvrouw en heer pur sang. Alles is tot in de puntjes geregeld. Warm welkom bij aankomst, een welkomspakket waarmee je de eerste avond en ochtend mee doorkomt. Alle vorige lovende recensies zijn helemaal waar. Tips over de omgeving wat er te doen is naast de grote bezienswaardigheden en waar je lekker kan eten en het beste ijs kunt kopen. Warme persoonlijkheden die altijd voor je klaar staan. Daniele kwam zelfs 2 keer eigengemaakte wijn brengen, heerlijk. Het huis is zo fijn "thuiskomen" na een lange dag weg. Heerlijk de rust in de tuin en om het huis. We missen het nu al. Breathtaking location with views that are exactly what you want in the Chianti region. It was a beautiful place and was very nicely setup. Extremely responsive and helpful host. He provided recommendations and was quick to respond to questions. The house is centered nicely within the region and allows access to many different villages, wineries, and restaurants. An amazing experience and I highly recommend!

We hebben een week doorgebracht in het huis van Stella en Tessa. Het is een sfeervol en authentiek ingericht appartement. Het ligt tussen de bergen omringd door olijfbomen maar steden zoals Lucca en Florence liggen niet ver weg. Het huis was heel schoon en lekker koel bij warme temperaturen. Er is voldoende schaduw rondom het huis. We hebben een kookles bij Stella gevolgd, dit was leerzaam en heel gezellig. Stella bedankt voor je vriendelijkheid, de heerlijke Italiaanse gerechten en je tips over de omgeving. Groeten, Margret en Toin

Posto tranquillo e rilassante, perfetto per una rigenerazione. In quei luoghi si torna indietro nel tempo a quando eravamo piccoli, il tempo rallenta ed é piacevole apprezzare stupendi panorami e le architetture del paese. La casa é ben tenuta, pulita e carina e la signora Claudia molto disponibile. Torneremo.

Hands down our favorite part of our two weeks in Italy! Casa Al Poggio was our Tuscan home away from home. We went and did all the things… Florence, Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, etc. But coming “home” to this place was the best. So peaceful and picturesque looking across the valley at the Badia Di Passignano. We cooked many meals in the well stocked kitchen and my husband loved the rustic BBQ. Fresh herbs in the garden and the smell of jasmine blooming on the patio. Book yourself extra time here…you won’t want to leave! Emanuele & Tamara are the kindest people. Take them up on all of their restaurant recommendations. Everyone one was a hit! We can’t wait to go back.

Lorenzo est un hôte disponible, reactif et dynamique. Il nous a fourni des précieuses informations sur les sites à visiter et les activités environnantes. Le logement est restauré avec beaucoup de goût et d'authenticité. une place de parking à proximité immédiate s'est avérée très pratique. je recommande sans réserve.

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

Our stay at this beautiful apartment was nothing short of a dream. It was perfect for my partner and I. The location was walkable to the city center and the hosts were so friendly, giving us so many great recommendations. The apartment itself was perfect for two people and very clean. Hopefully I get to return to Florence soon, and if I do I will make sure to stay here again.

We had an amazing week in the villa. Even if hou have other people living there, you feel so calm and free. There is a designated spot for each appartements to eat so you can enjoy good time outside. The site is so clean and we ser that the host take good care of everything. We had a lot of recommandations to discover te surroundings and the host was so easy to reach when we needed. All the commodities were there, the appartement is well equiped. I strongly suggest to rent a car, it’s the easiest way to enjoy your stay there. I surely recommand this place and I would go back again.

Sunflower è bellissima!! Un oasis de paix! La vue y est si magnifique que nous avons opté de toujours souper à la maison afin d’assister au majestueux spectacle que la nature nous offre: le coucher de soleil!! Il y a quelques appartements dans le complexe, mais on se sentait seuls puisque les espaces jardins sont biens divisés. Le secteur est paisible, mais en même temps près de Sienne et de plusieurs merveilleuses régions de la Toscane facilement accessibles en voiture. Le livre d’instructions, disponible à l’appartement est complet. Il comprend aussi des suggestions de parcours très agréables. Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux de Lorenzo, papa de Marta, qui nous a très bien expliqué les fonctionnalités de l’appartement. Merci pour la bouteille de vin, très apprécié! Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement! Nous y avons pris de nombreuses photos, mais aucune ne reflète entièrement l’extrême beauté du paysage. Grazzie mille Marta & tutta la famiglia!

Best place to stay!!! The charm of property draws you in immediately! A lovely garden, fresh flowers in the apartment, stunning views of San Gimignano. We loved the touches of old Italy everywhere (with the subtle inclusion of modern flair). And the little extras - a beautiful homemade tart welcomed us, as well as fresh fruit, juices, coffee and creamers and a few more fun surprises! Fabio and Alessandra are fabulous hosts - always answering any of our questions and having excellent advice on where to eat and things to do! The location is perfect for day trips to many of the Tuscan and Chianti region towns. And so lovely to come back to the charm of Fabio and Alessandra’s place. Grazie mille!!!

Clara war eine wunderbare Gastgeberin - freundlich, hat beim verspäteten Check-in auf uns gewartet, alles in der Wohnung erklärt. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben - super Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden, die Terrasse ist zu jeder Tageszeit nutzbar, weil es zwei Schirme gibt. Und drin ist es gemütlich, sauber, genug Schränke - alles da. Sehr gern kommen wir wieder, wenn wir mal in der Nähe sind.

Wir haben unsere 4 Wochen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen ruhigen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Der Außen- und Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt. Sollten im zweiten Appartement Gäste sein, kann man sich dennoch sehr gut zurück ziehen und die Stille genießen. Für Kinder gibt es genügend Spielgeräte die mit genutzt werden können. If we could give this place 6 stars, we would! We had an unforgettable stay in this private apartment in the mountains - an isolated abode feeling far removed from the crowds. We stayed for over a week and the breathtaking views never got old. Two of our highlights were: 1) walking through a garden/ bushwalking path accessible from the accommodation, meandering through the charming town of Mamiano and finding a suspension bridge with incredible views; and 2) Abetone hike to Lago Nero - a stunning (and moderately challenging) wooded walk which leads you out into a dramatic meadow and a small dark lake. We had both of these walking tracks totally to ourselves! The place is walkable to the lovely town of San Marcello and drivable to places like Pistoia, Florence, Pisa and more. Beyond all this, Gianna was a generous host, making sure our stay was comfortable (e.g. brought us firewood when we were cold)! The cherry on top were her friendly dog Gina, cats and chickens. Hope to be back!

This was just what I was looking for. A Tuscan villa in the hills with a rustic style outside but excellent on inside. There was more space than expected: 3 queen size rooms and one twin, with 3 bathrooms upstairs and one downstairs. The library in the living space looks great (although you have to read Italian). Modern kitchen and great facilities. One minor challenge is the 3.7k drive off the main road to get to the property a you get used to it! Loved listening to the Cuckoos and other birds from the veranda Tommaso was an excellent and helpful host.

Wow-10 days spent at Alec's villa and could have stayed longer! The age and beauty of this place makes you feel transported back in time. From the stone walls, the detailed wall paintings, furniture and decor, to the solid doors easily hundreds of years old... We spent hours just speaking of it's history. The house is clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It is situated on a small family vineyard at the top of an incredibly windey road. There outdoor space was safe/secluded for my kids. The hill made for wonderful beautiful views and sunrise. However, as with much of Tuscany, we were glad our rental cars weren't too big! The closest town is 5 minutes away and has a few restaurants... Though not somewhere you can have coffee or walk the streets. About 15 minutes away is San Casciano where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, stores etc. Alec is a perfect host... helpful, responsive, and answered dozens of questions weekly. Book dinner at A Casa Mia for sure!

Die herrliche Aussicht kann man sowohl als Paar, als auch mit Freund*innen wunderbar genießen. Es ist sehr ruhig und an allem gedacht worden: draußen gibt es sehr bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten, einen Grill und Pool. Im Garten duftet es überall nach Jasmin. Auch innen fehlt an nichts. Das Haus ist perfekt und befindet sich am perfekten Ort. Nach 20 Minuten Autofahrt erreicht man San Gimignano. Einfach ein Traum und immer wieder eine Reise wert 😍

We booked this for a girls holiday and we had the best week. We didn’t hire a car, we walked to a few of neighbouring towns and got a taxi to Lucca, and a train to Florence one day. Neighbouring towns have small supermarkets and the walks to them were enjoyable, the scenery is truly incredible. Lucca is beautiful and has incredible markets, it’s a must see if you stay here. The villa itself is exactly as shown in the pictures, the pool area is gorgeous, we sat around the table every night for dinner, and when it’s dark there’s clusters of fireflies sparkling in the roses, it was magical. Stefania was great, very responsive and there if we needed her. We’d definitely recommend and book this villa again in the future!

We had the most wonderful stay at Olga’s place. We had 6 adults and two children and there was still plenty of space. The house was beautifully appointed and the outdoor space with the view was the perfect place to relax.

Our Villa in Montespertoli was everything we could have wished for and more, full of all the modern conveniences required to cook if desired. The grounds were absolutely delightful and the hillside backdrop of grapevines etc was stunning to wake up to every morning in a secluded and peaceful place. We enjoyed many mornings having coffee around the poolside deck and afternoons sharing a glass of wine chatting with our friends after our many touring adventures. You definitely need to have a car to enjoy this Villa and surrounding areas like Pisa, Siena, hot Springs, San Gimignano to name a few. Our Caretaker Lia cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan dinner to share on our last night which we enjoyed immensely. Thankyou for hosting us in your home, we didn’t want to leave.

Perfect place to stay for exploring the Tuscany region! Roberto’s son Simone was so helpful in suggesting where to go and was always quick to respond. The house itself was meticulously renovated to have modern amenities with still some old world charm.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe von Freunden dort und hatten einen super schönen Urlaub! Der Gastgeber Juri war sehr freundlich und hat sofort auf Fragen geantwortet. Das Haus war groß und bestens ausgestattet. Im Haupthaus und im kleineren Haus am Pool gab es jeweils eine Küche. Man kann auf der Terrasse sehr schön mit allen zusammen essen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Zum nächsten Supermarkt fährt man knappe 10min, nach Lucca ins Stadtzentrum 15min und ca. 30min nach Pisa. Für uns war die Lage perfekt. Vor Ort ist es ruhig und wir hatten keine direkten Nachbarn.
