Cottage holiday rentals in Morrison Lake

Had a great family getaway for a few nights. Peaceful surroundings, easy to find, and close to amenities if needed. Lovely cabin!

This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

This was our second time staying at Jamie’s cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It is such a beautiful location and the cottage is warm and cozy with the amazing fireplace. It was a perfect spot to watch all the snow fall gently out the big windows, looking out over the river. So peaceful! We ended up having to leave early and it made us all so sad, especially our kids, so we’ve already mentally made plans to go back next winter. Jamie was super communicative and we really just enjoyed our time so much.

This place was beautiful and right on the water. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. We had enough kayaks to have fun in the water. The location was very private and peaceful.

We had a group weekend getaway and loved our stay! The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The host Ashley was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful escape to recharge!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in the woods! It was clean, spacious, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect nature escape. The hot tub was amazing, and the game room was such a fun bonus. We also loved how cozy and comfortable the beds were, and the living room and big kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few mosquitos, so be sure to bring some bug spray. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature!

Chorong was a great host! Leading up to our stay she was extremely responsive as I had a lot of questions! The house itself was stunning. Clearly it is taken care of and maintained very well. All of the beds were so comfortable. Outdoor area was a lovely space. Would definitely like to come back in the winter as I am sure the scenery is beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay for a girls weekend! The indoor and outdoor space was lovely and comfortable. There was so much wild life visiting the outdoor space which made for exciting views! The lake was beautiful, and calm. Our only minor notes were the hottub as it wasn’t at the standards of clean we expected (sand in it and water was slightly murky) and the dock being covered in bird poop and dead fish. All in all, we greatly enjoyed the space and would love to come back for another girls weekend.

Our small family loved Ina’s cottage! It was clean, beautiful, and quite serene. Although the photos are quite accurate, they don’t capture just how gorgeous this cottage is. It’s situated right on the lake, which was never too busy. We would definitely return in the future!

This island cottage was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. The privacy was exactly what I was looking for. It was clean and decorated beautifully. The peaceful serene feeling of being on the island was what I enjoyed most. I would recommend this place as number one so far on Airbnb for me. I will be coming back for sure!

We loved Jess' place. Very cozy and felt like home. The location and house are perfect for a city escape. The area is relaxing and quiet, and all the locals seem nice. One kind neighbour even shared his logs with us to help with the fire.

This cottage is perfection. Liane & James are just SO lovely. If you're reading this, don't look any further. Just book it. We couldn't have had a better week at Follie's Cove. The cottage was the perfect mix of modern and rustic. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. We felt at home instantly. The sunroom was the perfect chill spot for us and our two big dogs to get out of the sun/rain without feeling cooped up indoors. The beach was heaven for our dogs, and on a quiet end of the lake, so we saw few other people all week. The quintessential Muskoka experience! Liane and James were *beyond* wonderful. They set us up with a ton of breakfast food and desserts. Even offered to return the day after check-in to drop off more coffee. It truly felt like renting from friends. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat from them and puttering around the lake. Wish I had more space to gush about the space and their incredible hospitality. We would book again in a heartbeat!

Everything exceeded expectations! A cozy tiny home with beautiful river views and thoughtful details throughout. Kathy was responsive and made the stay seamless. Highly recommend!

Beautiful spot with all the amenities. Feels private and secluded yet only a 10 minute drive from downtown Huntsville. James was super accommodating and responsive to our needs, would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance!

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at this cottage. The lakefront property is beautiful, clean, and our favourite part was watching the gorgeous sunsets that could been seen from the terrace as well as from inside. Jesse was easy to reach and made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were having a good stay.

Bill's cottage was the perfect fit for our large group. The location is amazing, and there is plenty of room by the beach for lawn games and sitting around the fire. The beach volleyball court was a big hit for our group too! Inside was roomy enough, and had a large table big enough for everyone to sit around at dinner. The cottage has all the amenities you'd expect at home such as A/C and modern appliances, but keeps that rustic cottage charm. We'd recommend Bill's place to anyone looking for that traditional cottage experience without breaking the bank!

This cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway. The scenery is beautiful and the cottage is very homey. Celine was extremely easy to get ahold of and she was lovely to coordinate with! I’d love to come back to stay.

One of my favourite Airbnb cottages! The space is perfect for a family (lots of kid focused things) or for a few friends. The property is beautiful, has great amenities like the sauna and water toys. The beds are very comfy and kitchen had anything you could need. All in all this was one of the best experience I’ve had. The host was super lovely, and you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought and care into creating a great experience for their guests.

The cottage is very cozy, the amenities are very good. The view is awesome. Tina was kind and respectful host. I can easily suggest this place to my friends.

Such a perfect little getaway spot. Super quiet and private — loved relaxing in the hot tub at night and hanging by the fire. The place has a dock with kayaks and paddleboards, which made the lake time extra fun. Everything was clean and cozy, and it just felt peaceful the whole time. Already planning to come back!

Cannot recommend this cottage enough! Had a great time with my family, the apartment was fantastic, and the view was better than I could’ve imagined. 10/10 would recommend!

The house was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped for preparing in-home meals for a big group. We had a great time and luckily the weather was sunny most of the time. The only things that I think other visitors should be prepared for are: 1) the land surrounding the house, both from the car parks and down to the lake, are very rugged & rocky so would not be good for anyone with any sort of mobility issues. 2) the drinking water, while potable, is filtered lake water that motor boats use and is slightly discolored so sensitive visitors may want to bring bottled water for drinking. 3) the dining table is large enough however, the hang out space inside in the living room is too small for 8 people to relax comfortably. I would recommend this place, these are just items I think visitors would like to know in advance to avoid surprises.

This cottage is in such a beautiful place. It's very quiet and private. The view is incredible. The wrap around deck was our favourite place at sunset. The views are unbeatable, even when you are inside the cottage the views are amazing. There are lots of things to do down by the water courtesy of the hosts. We also did some fishing right off the dock. The kitchen has everything you need. The wifi worked incredible. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere when in reality you are a 10 min drive from everything you may need. The trek to the cottage from where you park is bit of a challenge to carry your belongings. There's stairs everywhere so anyone with a bad knee or out of shape etc would definitely have a hard time getting around the property. Especially accessing the water, there's a ton of stairs to go up and down. Stairs aside I would most definitely go back again. The weather wasn't in our favor but we made the best of it. Truly a little piece of heaven.Ty🩷

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Priolo on the Bay – Moody Escape, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Andy is a truly exceptional host. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a luxurious yet cozy escape. The cottage itself is immaculate – modern, stylish, and unbelievably comfortable. It strikes the perfect balance between high-end living and rustic charm. Tucked away in the heart of nature, it still offers every convenience imaginable: from fully stocked cutlery and snacks to campfire treats, firewood for both the sauna and outdoor firepit, a gas oven, extra lighters—you name it, it was there.The interiors are spotless and beautifully designed, making the entire space feel like a warm, peaceful retreat. Sitting by the fire, unwinding in the sauna, or just enjoying the serene forest surroundings—it all felt like a dream.This is the kind of place that makes you not want to leave!
