Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Motala Municipality

Simply great! Beautiful surroundings and a super nice cottage with a postcard view. Just great!

It was wonderful to stay in a traditional red & white cabin and look out over gently waving corn fields BUT….. have all the the comforts of home!

We had a great stay at Annica's and in the cozy farmhouse. Annica was helpful and friendly and responded quickly to messages. The house and surroundings were incredibly cozy and beautiful with all the necessities we needed. We would like to return to lovely Vadstena and to Annica's farmhouse! 😍

Close proximity to the beach and the lake-view stands above all other things I can think of when describing Maria’s house. Maria was quick in responding to messages. We did know there was only one bathroom and toilet before booking it for us 5 adults and 2 kids. But now it feels like for a house this large which can accommodate 10 guests, an extra bathroom toilet would be great :)

Amazing stay in the middle of beautiful farm land! Even though the building is quite old, it's super warm and cozy inside! Quite spacious apartment and peaceful locality. For travellers from Gothenburg to Stockholm, this is a perfect stay point after visiting Visingsö island and Vadstena palace. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

Good accommodation with 50s charm in the incredibly picturesque Vadstena. Walking distance to the center with castle, shopping and restaurants. We'd love to come back here. Perfect for couples with children, lots of games, toys and children's films. Children can also play in the garden. It also suited us with older adult children, especially as it is located in a cultural area with Alvastra monastery ruins and Omberg nearby and, this time, close to Motala and Vätternrundan!

Very happy with our stay! It has been easy with communication and a very nice and thoughtful treatment of the landlord who received two tired girls after getting through the Vättern round. And in addition, the accommodation was right at the start/finish area, so it was absolutely perfect for us who needed somewhere to sleep before it was time to go home!

Helen and her husband welcomed us even though we arrived late. Did not have time to enjoy, quickly to bed and off to Motala for the Vättern round. A nicely decorated accommodation with all the comforts. Great!

A wonderful apartment, a feeling of luxury. Beautifully designed house and a magical, so well laid out garden - beautiful! Nice swimming area just meters away. Well and tastefully, thoughtfully decorated - everything we could need was there.

Super nice accommodation and very nice host!

This is a perfect accommodation for those who want to experience Vadstena up close. The accommodation is a large room with a large and very comfortable bed, a coffee table with two armchairs and a large sofa (which was also very comfortable to lie in), there is also an anteroom when you go in where you hang clothes, etc. In addition to this, there is the "kitchen" where you can use a smaller fridge, boil tea water or coffee. There is also a hot plate so you can cook a little if you want, but I would say that this home is best suited for those/those who want to eat out in Vadstena and experience its food. What I want to say is that it is a very nice place to rent, we slept well, very close to Vadstena storgata (1min) and we will definitely look over to use this home again. One thing to bring, however, is that the toilet is responsive and a little smaller, but there is still room for a shower in it. Tips on things to do are breakfast at Hamilton, lunch at one of the other cafes and then dinner at the Mayor,

Cute little farmhouse in central Vadstena. Short walking distance to everything. Nice car excursion to Omberg and knowledgeable guide in the monastery.

Back for the second year in a row. Nice accommodation with parking and very close to the nice Varamon beach. Highly recommended!
