Cabin holiday rentals in Motala

We enjoyed our stay at Kathy’s converted barn. It is in a very convenient location, just off the main road down a small lane, at the end of which is a petrol station and supermarket. It is only a short stroll into the pretty centre where you can find historical sights of interest, pretty streets , independent shops and a variety of restaurants. Kathy has taken great care in ensuring the barn is comfortable and clean, ensuring her guests have all they will need for their stay. The bed is comfortable and she provides good quality linens and towels. The hot tub was immaculate and a real treat, as was the cava and chocolates that were part of our welcome package. Kathy’s attention to detail makes this accommodation stand apart from others. Thank you Kathy.

Great location, it was so peaceful. It's cozy and we immediately felt right at home. Just the sounds of birds and wind in the trees. We loved the hot tub! on our second day we saw a moose just 3 mins from the cabin. Nox was very responsive and proactive with the communication. Would definitely come back again!

Cozy cottage that has everything you need except TV, but that was stated in the advertisement.

The gas bottle for the grill was out, but it worked out by us having to drive to a gas station and buy and the host paid to me, so it was ok. Guess it was the guests before us who ran out of the gas without notifying the host.

Very nice stay! The accommodation was well suited for a weekend for 6 adults, well equipped kitchen, nice living room, large terrace with hot tub and very nice garden overlooking Lake Lake. Maja was a very good host, easy and quick communication, great tips about the area and walks. We felt very welcome. The surroundings are very close to nature and lovely. Would love to visit again!

A cozy cottage and a nice, helpful host. A fantastic location, just lace up your shoes and go out and walk in a peaceful forest. A couple of lovely days of cycling and walking. Highly recommend the cabin.

We were very kindly received by Hans-Olov. A clear explanation was given about the house and its accessories. It is a super cozy cottage in a beautiful area. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. We stayed here for two nights, but it could have been two weeks as far as we were concerned. Thanks again to Hans-Olov for the hospitality. Quiet, peaceful, end-of-the-road with a fantastic view, yet a few minutes drive to shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Visingso! And then a nicely-furnished, well-appointed, spacious home, with a responsive host, all at a reasonable price. It doesn't get any better than this place and host!

The peaceful lake views and morning birdsong made our stay truly unforgettable. We especially loved exploring the Tiveden national park — the trails were wild and beautiful. Christina was welcoming, responsive, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. This place is a perfect mix of comfort, nature, and quiet moments. We’re grateful for the memories and already hoping to return!

We had the most wonderful time at Sarah’s beautiful house, the location was so peaceful. The house is very clean and has everything you need to relax and enjoy cooking and we had a BBQ outside as well. We enjoyed swimming at the lake by Valö Café and Sarah arranged for us to visit the farm next door to get some homemade jam, apple juice and some eggs from the chickens. I would highly recommend staying here, thanks Sarah!

Michael and his beautiful family are the best of the best for hosts in the Airbnb world. They are warm and welcoming, intelligent and interesting, there to help with something if you need it, but they also give you all the space you want. The cottage is incredibly special--a GEM. I wanted to shrink it down and pack it in my suitcase to take with me! It is charm embodied--full of thoughtful historical touches done by Michael and his father during the renovation. While modestly sized, the cottage was perfect for us and had all of the amenities we needed. Located in a lush and secluded corner of their garden, it is surrounded by flowers and green out every window, and your parking space is only a few steps away. If we are ever in the area again, we will absolutely try and book here again. It's perfect on every level! Thank you, Michael!

Our stay in Ödeshög was great! The cottage was clean, well furnished and equipped with all comforts. We felt right at home. The area is beautiful - peaceful nature, beautiful hiking trails and Lake Vättern a short distance away. This accommodation is highly recommended for those looking for peace and beautiful nature. We'd love to come back!

Thank you for a wonderful stay in a lovingly and thoughtfully decorated cabin where we lacked nothing. We had the perfect Sweden feeling. The animals right outside the front door such as calves, sheep and chickens have complemented the rural coziness very well. The hosts were always available and helped with questions right away! We totally enjoyed ourselves.

we had a fantastic stay. Very quiet environment, and you walk to the lake where you can swim and barbecue. the space is large and equipped with everything. also the walk around the peninsula is very beautiful.

Secluded, cozy and charming. We enjoyed both morning and evening sitting in the outdoor furniture and everything worked as expected.

We enjoyed some amazing days in Sara's beautiful desert farm. It was wildly beautiful and there was a lot to do. It was absolutely perfect for us with swimming and fishing in the lake and sauna with beautiful views. In the evening, you could enjoy twist bread and marshmallows by the fire. 10/10 from ⭐️ here. However, a little low to the ceiling if you are over 185 cm

In short, we felt very welcome. The view is awesome. Unfortunately, we had 1 rainy day but could then entertain ourselves with TV incl. Chromecast. This address is absolutely recommended. The cozy and modern renovated house is located a few kilometers in the forest away from the district roads. Therefore, it is absolutely quiet and you can enjoy nature without disturbing civilization noises. When it's windy, you can hear the trees rustling, and when it's calm, you can hear the Mühlbach splashing. The house has access to a quiet and private jetty with a rowing boat and fireplace. There is enough space for a family of four to be able to retreat. It was particularly nice - in suitable weather - to enjoy breakfast or dinner on the terrace under the awning. The two separate toilets and the washing machine were very advantageous. Elke and Matthias are very nice, have given us some excursion tips and are very pleasant landlords. It was certainly not our last visit to you.

Elisabeth is friendly and easy to communicate with. The stay was very relaxing. The place is perfect when you want to get away from all the stress and get a few quiet days. Is not far to the shop where you can get everything you need for your stay. Would love to come back in the future.
