The author and artist Gunnar Brusewitz lived here and studied Tåkern and its nature in the spring of 1940. Tivedens National Park is close as well as the long sandy beach Harjebaden. The house was completed in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.

South of us is Omberg, which is also one of Östergötland's most visited excursion destinations. The bird lake Tåkern is located east of the farm. There's plenty to see and experience.
