Beachfront Guest Cottage - Year-round Hot Tub!

Our cozy guest cottage has easy beachfront/kayak/canoe access (if you bring your own) and is located very close (within walking distance at low tide) to the public boat launch for larger boats. Great location to explore Deer Isle, Acadia (approx 1hr), Castine (45m), and the Bangor (1hr) area. Brave children and adults even swim from the beach but comfortable swimming ponds/lakes are 10m in several directions. The hot-tub is open year-round! Additional guests can be considered prior to booking.

This is a great central location for many of Maine's greatest attractions and places to visit as well as events to attend. We are only 21 miles from the University of Maine, Orono (UMO), 36 mi to great destinations like Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and 7 miles from Interstate 95. We are 2 hr drive from Portland ME (Maine's largest city) filled with 100's of restaurants, pubs, Shopping, lighthouse, Botanical Gardens, art district...thatres and museums. Nestled on the Quiet Side of MDI, this studio is just 1 minute from Long Pond's public beach, and close to all of Acadia's main attractions — yet tucked away from tourist traffic and road noise. The single open studio features a queen bed plus two futons, making it a comfortable fit for couples, friends traveling together, or families with young kids. The deck is perfect for grilling and dining, while the firepit and hot tub offer a quiet spot to unwind after a day on the trails or water.

The Seamist Cottage - Converted Historic Barn

Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Two guests maximum, not a suitable space for children. Please keep allergies in mind when booking. No smoking.
