Welcome to The Cabin at Trout Creek, a newly constructed cabin built in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Designed to compliment the beauty of the creation that surrounds it, the cabin offers its guests peace and seclusion, yet easy access to nearly endless opportunities for outdoor activity. Whether you are interested in a small group retreat, a scrapbooking getaway, time away with some friends, or a family vacation, you will find that great care has been taken to create a place of comfort, relaxation, and an atmosphere that allows you to connect--with family and friends, with God and His creation. Situated on 3 1/2 wooded acres with over a million acres of San Isabel National Forest out the front door, the 3000 square foot cabin will comfortably accommodate a group up to 11. The cabin is easily accessed from Denver (2 hours) and Colorado Springs (1 1/2 hours) and is only 20 minutes away from the recreational town of Buena Vista. Whether you want to stay tucked in or be outdoors, the cabin has everything you could need or want. The house itself has wi-fi, a computer, a 42" HD TV, a Blu-Ray Disc player (with over 100 DVD's to choose from), a Bose sound system, board games, an 800 ft2 deck (that overlooks San Isabel National Forest), 3 different sitting areas, and mountain views in every direction. If you want to enjoy the outdoors and the many activities the area has to offer, you will find that there is more to do than what you have time for! We have bikes at the cabin if you want to explore nearby, with trails to San Isabel right out the door. Within 20 minutes of the cabin, you will world class white water rafting and fly fishing, mountain biking, jeep tours, horseback riding, hot springs, ATV rentals, hot air balloon rides, zip lines, ghost towns, endless hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hay rides and sleigh rides. Several ski areas are within a 45 minute drive. Beauty, rest, refreshment. That is what you will find at The Cabin at Trout Creek.

A rustic dry camping cabin with a front row view of the Collegiate Peaks. This is a campground glamping experience. Has 1 queen size bed and bunk bed. Queen bed is made and bunk bed linens can be provided upon request. This cabin has electricity, heat, private porch, picnic table and fire ring. Please note that there is no plumbing. Cabin guests have full access of our newly renovated bathhouses just a short walk away. Up to 2 dogs allowed with an added flat fee of $25. No additional pets.

We welcome you to stay in our guest house: A renewed log cabin on three acres at BV's western edge. This quiet, in-town location is a good base for Arkansas Valley activities. A few miles east of us is Cottonwood Pass with hot springs, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. Or, bike or walk a mile to the east for restaurants and shopping, the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond. Note: There are many pet-friendly options nearby, but we do our best to provide an allergen-free studio for guests.
