Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. The cottage also has a conservatory facing views of the sea and the Twelve Bens. Connemara National Park is 5 km away in Letterfrack. The cottage has easy access to lots of stunning beaches in Renvyle, Claddaghduff and Ballyconneely. This is an ideal spot for enjoying the natural surroundings of Connemara.

We are located just a one-minute walk from the sea and 1.5km from Tully Cross which has pubs, a shop and a church. Goirtín na gCloch is ideally situated for holiday makers looking to explore Connemara or visit the beach. The one-bedroom guesthouse, 20 metres from the family home on the same grounds, is suitable for an individual or couple and contains all modern conveniences; washer-dryer, large fridge, oven, smart TV, electrical heating, comfortable living area and electric shower.

You can walk to the sea in just under one minute while unwinding in our sauna after. Kylemore Abbey and Gardens are just across the lake outside the door which is suitable for fishing with boat hire also available
