Machadorp is no oil painting, but a good stopover enroute to/from Kruger. Grey's Inn was secure and comfortable and you couldn't wish for more considerate hosts. Top marks and many thanks Ged and Mike

This place is a gem, spacious and very well appointed, outside and inside showers and aircons in every room. Pool, braai facilities, camping chairs and boma with plenty of wood available. We were a group of 10 golfers and loved every minute!

What a beautiful guesthouse! I can’t remember when last I had service like this, friendly accommodating and so helpful! This is a stunning stay we really enjoy it. Clean, comfy and cosy!

I stayed at Rio Dos Elephantes with 4 adults and 10 children. there was obviously plenty in the region to do being right next to Kruger Np but there was also plenty to keep us occupied at the camp. the sleeping facilities were large and comfortable, the Braai area was well appointed, the staff were all lovely, polite and helpful. there was lenty if wildlife visible from tue camp being right on the river and the guided tour was well worth the early morning as we saw a black Rhino and a Lion (there were elephants, hippos and giraffes galore. I would highly recommend Rio Dos Elwphantes to both family groups or couples as a fantastic and unique getaway.

This place is recommended to all wanting to have a memorable stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The owner and the staff were exceptional in their hosting...breakfast was amazing and great value for money. Good views and location, had an amazing stay, thank you.

Staying with Ilse & Loek is like visiting friends who just happen to own a 4 star bush lodge in a private game reserve, and who love treating their guests like royalty. The place is clean, peaceful and private. The food is fresh, healthy and make with love! We will see you soon, Ilse, Loek & Siya 🐕

My fiancée and I spent a great week here. In the one week we were able to observe giraffes, zebras, springboks, warthogs, kudus, monkeys and mongos on the property. The hosts were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was freshly prepared at the desired time and you could get tips from the host for the day's excursions. A great three-course menu was also available for dinner by prior arrangement. In the evening there is also the option of making a campfire in front of your bungalow or in the common room and having a drink.

This was an amazing stay and my family and I will cherish some amazing memories from here. Jacques and Jolande are excellent hosts. They were very welcoming, extremely helpful and gave us a lot of local recommendations to check out. They even made necessary arrangements like adding a single bed in our room for our kids upon request. Jolande also booked us for a safari in Pridelands (Greater Kruger). The safari guide came and fetched us from our lodge and dropped us back. This was an incredible experience. We got to see some amazing wildlife. The lodge was clean and as described. It’s very safe. It’s inside a wildlife estate and we were visited by nyalas, hornbills, bushbabies and other fauna. I had some amazing, scenic jogs with the wildlife on the estate. Can’t wait to come back again. Great place for kids too. There are some excellent restaurants just outside the estate as well. All attractions and experiences are just a short drive away. Highly recommended ❤️.

Our stay beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing. The only downfall was that our room was not yet ready when we arrived for checkin so we had to wait about an hour and the SPA treatment was underwhelming which I know is separate to the accommodation booking but the SPA within the estate is terrible unfortunately. Other than that our stay was pleasant and had a great food with their restaurant within the estate.

Amazing accommodation. We definitely recommend opting for the breakfast and dinner, food is amazing!! Take a pair of tekkies, they have amazing hiking trails with waterfalls. Definitely recommend. Note: I recommend activating maps long before as there are no signal in the mountains on the way there. Also the pin on airbnb took us to a remote location and was far off. Rather google the lodge and use that location. We will def go again.

My family and I loved our stay with Dalena and the family. Even though we were in the same house, we barely noticed them there. They were welcoming, quiet and made us feel comfortable and right at home. The home has a very old school, vintage feel which I loved but some might not. The real winner though is the outside area. The estate is absolutely amazing. It was a bit dusty and stuffy, especially for those of us with sinuses, but nothing unbearable. Overall an amazing stay❤️🌻
