The studio is located in the attic of our house in the south of the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr, in the district of Holthausen/Raadt. The quiet location right by the conservation area does not exclude a very good transport connection. Public transport to the city center and the main train station can be reached in a few minutes on foot. By car, you can reach the A52 in 3 minutes. Essen trade fair: about 10 minutes; Düsseldorf trade fair: about 30 minutes Düsseldorf Airport: about 20 minutes; CentrO: about 25 minutes (each by car)

The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

It is a beautiful apartment in the middle of the girls' quarter (Seitenstrasse). Restaurants, supermarkets, etc. are a few minutes' walk away. It doesn't get any more central than this. Local transport, highway and city center are also within easy reach. Free parking is available in front of the door. The apartment is perfectly equipped and nothing is missing. I live here most of the time myself and love my home. All things are of very high quality and should be treated well.

The signal tower Linn was built in the 1920s and has now been extensively renovated after being decommissioned over 20 years ago. With love for the details and an eye for its historical origins, a unique and extremely atmospheric location has been created. On the 1st floor there is the loft-like living area with a cozy living/dining area - and the unique 180-degree view. On the lower level there are the 2 bedrooms, the laundry room and the shower room with a toilet.

Our freshly renovated and light-flooded apartment is located in the immediate vicinity of the city. From here you can reach the city centre, Messe Essen and the clinic in only a few minutes (by car). The apartment offers you a fully equipped kitchen with a spacious dining area overlooking the sunny balcony. The cosy living room/bedroom has Smart-TV, WLAN & your own Netflix + Amazon Prime Account! Hospitality is very important to us! Our cozy and personal apartment is ideal for a short or longer stay in our diverse Mülheim and the surrounding area. Very good infrastructure due to the central location in the Ruhr area. Düsseldorf Airport and the trade fair city of Essen can be reached in 15/20 minutes! The Max Planck Institute is a 5-minute walk, as is the forest and the Ruhr! There are many excursion destinations for all ages!

Apartment in the countryside near the city

In our house in a small cul-de-sac (insofar as the address "Hauptstrasse" is misleading), we rent a closed 2-room apartment (sleeping/living area) on the first floor with a small kitchen and bathroom. The location is ideal for tourists, business people and trade fair visitors. Since 08/01/2025, the city of Essen has levied an accommodation tax of 5% and a maximum of €9 per night. This is included in the nightly rate.
