Forest Park trail is steps away, Sauvie Island and the historic Cathedral Bridge are 5 minutes by car, and 10 minutes to Slab Town and Alphabet District. Eclectic cottage & sauna bath house/SE Portland

This cottage is a rustic bohemian experience. There is a queen bed and a sleeping loft which is good for kids accessed via a built in ladder (one bed and one ikea double mat (great for kids) in total). Cottage has a kitchenette in the main room where the bed is. There is an OUTDOOR shower/bath and sauna which is incredible in the fall and winter! Inside the cottage there is small bathroom which is in fact down right tiny (not for big folks) wood stove/ oil heater/ac. no smoking allowed.

The apartment is a short walk to public transit to airport and downtown MAX line. GREAT FOR: Couples or individuals looking for a quite relaxing stay. Unusually quiet and private for Portland. No neighbor's windows looking into apartment, or outdoor patio space. NOT FOR LOUD PEOPLE/ GROUPS: Only mature, respectful guests to stay in my home.

The best of both worlds, it’s a quiet, restful space that is mere minutes by foot to restaurants, galleries, bars and live music venues. You can step out for breakfast, coffee, lunch and dinner, or you can enjoy the small but well-equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals. Wander down for a soak at the nearby wellness center or let the cottage be your home base for exploring the city and beyond!

Horse Barn Apartment on a Beautiful Farm

The Apartment is spacious, beautiful and sleeps 2 in a queen bed. Up to 2 more people can stay but bring pads and bedding for them. Enjoy the private balcony overlooking the woods & creek. The Bath House is for you only but is a separate building & located only 20 feet away. It has a claw foot tub, shower, sink, etc. It is worth the walk. Enjoy a farm get-a-way. Our place is amazing but rural so dogs bark, geese honk, donkeys bray, horses neigh, etc. Join us to slow down.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
