Beachfront holiday rental in Mussel Shoals

We loved the house! The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed the backyard and being able to have a view of the water. There were great restaurants nearby! I would definitely stay at this house again if it was available.

Perfect little beach hide out. I love the patio and the thoughtful amenities. It’s a very serene place on a spectacular beach. It has a Kuerig, so if you like drip or your own brand of coffee, bring a cone and filters.

This was our first time visiting Carpinteria and we enjoyed our stay here very much. Elena allowed both of our small dogs to stay with us, the beach was only about 2 minutes away, and most of the downtown area was very walkable. We also enjoyed walking along the trails of the Salt Marsh Nature Park which was across the street from us. The apartment was very clean and was fine for the two of us and our two small dogs. The only negative was that the people above us were very loud at times after 10pm and also before 8am. Elena was a wonderful host and we hope to back again some time soon for another stay. Darrell’s place is in an unbeatable location — literally right on the beach! Out of all the options I looked at, this was by far the most affordable, and it exceeded expectations. It’s a private studio cottage (not a full house), located downstairs a massive balcony that directly overlooks the ocean. Super peaceful, with nothing but the sound of the waves right in front of you. Go to sleep so peaceful! The space was very clean and had everything we needed, including a smart TV with all the streaming apps — perfect for a relaxing night in. The unit is pet-friendly, which we appreciated! We also loved the neighborhood — it’s quiet, safe, and walkable, with a grocery store and restaurants just steps away. Darrell was a fantastic host and even left us wine and h20. Such a nice sweet surprise!! We will be back!

Wonderful home within walking distance to the Pacific Ocean. Convenience store within walking distance as well. Booking the place happened very quickly even as we were looking at the last minute. Response communications were very timely as well. The house was very cozy and conducive to our family getting together for my niece's graduation at CSU-CI. Loved that you can open the windows for fresh air. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed using the kitchen for home cooking and baking. Upstairs/outside deck was very nice, but we all preferred to stay inside the house. Totally recommend Jesse & Abha's home for your vacation get-away needs.

Daniel was very accommodating. The house and location were beautiful. There's lots of local restaurants that were very good. The house is updated with modern features and a really warm fireplace. Daniel was a very responsive host and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time staying on Silver Strand and we just loved everything about the location. The house is a gem and so close to the water in a quiet neighborhood. The locals were friendly and everything is accessible, the boardwalk, shopping, etc. we had a beach day with family and when it got chilly on the beach we found the backyard to be sunny and warm. We would come back to this beach house in the future!

Small but efficient for us two. Great location in Carpinteria. We usually camp at the state beach but opted not to this year. Had everything we needed. Pool and spa were great. Complex was peaceful and other residents and office staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking in gated lot and the spots had plenty of room for our truck and there were bike racks inside the parking lot for locking up our bikes that we took. We only used our vehicle once it was too dark for bike riding, otherwise we biked or walked. Husband fished everyday for several hours while I got to sleep in, relax, watch tv, or walk up the street for shopping. Farmers Market on Thursday was great for buying fresh fruits and veggies and flowers.

The condo is directly across from the beach, and an easy walk from the main strip with tons of cute shops and restaurants. The unit itself is clean, and comfortably fits four adults and two kids. It came with beach toys for the kids to use which was a huge plus. A great spot for a vacation!

My wife and I stayed here while I attended a conference 45 minutes away, inland. I’m so glad we stayed where we did because of the views. Not difficult to get around. Grocery store and restaurants are not a far drive away. The place had everything we needed. Older adults, so pretty quiet. You can see and hear the ocean from the condo. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

Charming unit and a short walk to Linden Ave. A few hundred yards to beach entrance. Host was very responsive. We will come again.

Great host, great location, fun stay. Highly recommended. Jumped on the surfliner Amtrak and took our kids to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Hung out on the beach just down the road from the apartment. Awesome time!

Very comfortable, all the amenities we would want,nice patio to sit & relax, refrigerator with water & ice maker, coffee maker with coffee & creamer provided, microwave, swimming pool, board games, large screen tv. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards provided for use. , Quiet neighborhood & felt very safe. Beach & town very close & walking distance. Look forward to returning in the future.

This might be my new favorite vacation spot. Carpinteria is such a wonderful little town! Staying in this condo was a joy. It was just a few yards to the beach. The pool and hot tub were great, and all the other residents were very friendly! The condo had everything we needed and was totally ship shape. Dave was flexible when I needed to amend my booking, too. Highly recommend.

This AirBnB was one of the best that I have stayed in. There were 4 of us and we were more than comfortable. Sarah was very responsive and proactive. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area!

Cozy and immaculately maintained 70’s nautical beach vibes. Extremely friendly and responsive host. A very special place! Two things I did not like: 1. 4pm check-in (3pm more reasonable) 2. 10am checkout! (Should be 11am) These adjustments would be more fair to guests still leave plenty of time for cleaning before the next guests arrive.

We had an amazing time during our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect location in Ventura and by the beach. The three-story layout of the home was perfect for our group and had several common spaces which could be shared. There are sweeping views of the ocean and park from several of the common spaces including the living room and kitchen, two balconies and the primary bedroom on the third floor. The home is extremely well kept and was spotless when we arrived. The host left us some delectable cookies and a bottle of wine! Jayne (host) was quick to respond to any questions which we really appreciated. The house is located across from Marina Park, steps to the beach and a short drive to Harbor Village. You can also walk to Seaward Lane less than a mile away where you can enjoy some of the local restaurants, yogurt ice cream, bakery and coffee shop. We ate at Social Tap and Pierpont Tacos; both were very good. We couldn’t be happier!

Incredible property! Megan was an ideal host, quick to respond and more than accommodating. The home was perfect for our little family. The proximity of water to house was second to none. We have travelled quite and bit and use Airbnb often, the jacuzzi to fire pit to ocean proximity is unmatched. Will definitely stay again, can’t recommend Megan or her property enough!

We absolutely loved this place! It was so relaxing to be right on the water, and to be able to hop in the hot tub on a cold morning :) The beds were incredibly comfortable and the primary bedroom felt like a luxury suite. The host and property manager are also lovely. Very kind and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

My family had a wonderful Spring Break at Coleen's place. The location can't be beat, just steps from the beach and walkable to local restaurants. The home was clean, well furnished and had everything we needed for our family. The neighbors were also very welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to all.

This is a wonderful property close to the beach and within walking distance of all local shops. The property had high quality furnishings including lovely shower products, high quality appliances and a super comfy bed. We had a lovely host and I will definitely return to this property.

This place was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for! Not only was it right on the sand and had tons of parking, but the place itself was gorgeous and pristine. It had everything we needed and we had a wonderful time staying here. Would absolutely stay again!
